Angelina Jolie Talks Foreign Relations
Angelina Jolie is being admitted to become a member of the prestigious Council on Foreign Relations. Angelina, 31, will soon be rubbing elbows with other club members of the exclusive, Manhattan-based foreign-policy group including Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, and Alan Greenspan.
International-affairs professor Dr. Gordon Adams says “Bring her on. The idea of having Henry Kissinger and Angelina Jolie in the same organization is dazzling.”

GO GO ANGELINA. I don’t give a damn what any hater says today. You can call her all the names you want, still won’t change the fact that she is a respected and important member of our society. You can’t take away the smile on my face or the pride I feel being a fan of Angelina Jolie.

I am such a huge fan of Angelina made even huger by this latest honor bestowed upon her. Can you hear all the screaming at the ocean and all those heads exploding from sheer envy? No matter how they try to pull her down, Angelina Jolie always manages to come out on top, looking as lovely as ever. Go girl (sniff! tears of joy) I am so very very proud of you!
Angelina is an example of what all young actresses should want to be, Life is so much more than making a couple movies and going to a lot of party’s. Show some purpose, do something positive with your time. get on your grind, stay busy. Damn what guy wouldn’t want be with a chick like that.

This is the another proof that Angelina is above Hollywood, entertaiment business (and its requirements like nose, breast jobs, nonsense gossips, hateful wishes and curses by stupid fans, obsessive idiots).
Angelina is bowed with all respect. She is accepted and respected by serious and important, intelligent people.
P.S. I do have a problem to be connected to JJ, it is getting on my nerves and I can’t do anything about it.

Thanks Just Jared for the new thread. It is good to read positive information about AJ. AJ has been involved with her UN work for many years. She has been a goodwill ambassador for the UN and has projected a positive image for the United States aboard as well as home. Too many times, people rather focus on her past or her relationship with BP, rather than all the great work she has done with the UN. AJ is an inspiration to many. She has shown that not all of Hollywood is fool’s gold, scandals and free swag.
Many people outside the tabloid world, have shown much respect and admiration for BP and AJ. I wish BAMZS all the best. It is good to see that they are having a peaceful and relaxing time in the Big Easy, NAWLINS or New Orleans for the rest of the world.

Angelina Jolie as a member of The Council on Foreign Relations will bring more attention to a lot of global issues, problems and humanitarian causes. The CFR is non partisan and Angie’s inclusion is based largely I think on how she defined being the UNHCR ambssador the last few years. She may not have the fancy Phd to her name but her knowledge of world affairs is from actual experiences she has encountered from war/tribal torn countries . She is more qualified than the other members of CFR who may not even seen one refugee camp in their lifetime.
GO ANGELINA JOLIE! Congratulations on your success at such an early age. What more can you ask for??? Angelina is young, oscar winner, gorgeous, well respected by many and a wonderful mom to her kids!!! I don’t care what the haters are saying about her as she is ALWAYS well respected, true inspiration and admired by me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very influential think-tank.
I would like to agree with those who don’t think she’s qualified to belong to the group.
On the other hand, if all said about this thing is true, I guess whoever nominated her like the fact that she’s been personally to all those third world countries, the fact about her adoptions, and the money she’s been giving out to her cause. Of course, there are others who give, too, but perhaps the combination of what she has done and said is more useful of the cause.
Then again, I don’t think she should be a member of that club. They could simply have decided to consult her if they wish to hear her opinion. Or, they should change the name of the club a little so she could fit in it better. “Foreign relations?” I think all she represents is a willingness to help the poor in the world and being an example of it. But “foreign relations” is much more complex than a single-minded purpose that she has.
Angie doesn’t have an university degree, master programme or PhD.
She is out there and tries her best to do something good for humanbeings who need help. She is sincere about what she has been doing.
I do respect her highly, I am proud of her.
While the Janice Mins and the Boonie Fullers of the world try to bring her down, Angelina Jolie’s star rises.

You are an example of the degradation in your country. A person who can read and write but cant engage in the minimum research to find out simple facts. The council of Foreign relations is an american organisation.
