Brad Pitt’s Boxers on Display

I just want to clarify that I am a huge supporter of Brad and Angie. There are rumors that I’ve called BAMZS fans loonies on another website. That is, in part, true. And I’ve had to ban those loonies because of their hateful and derogatory comments.

And about posting new Brad and Angie pictures. If I do not post the pictures, it means that I’m not allowed to. Yes, other websites may post them but they’re not allowed to either. However, I am trying very hard to get the proper permissions to post them.

So please, stick around, be nice, and have a good week! :D

Okay…I get what you are saying but remember this is Jared’s blog. We know he likes Bamzs but he has not pledged alligence to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, so whatever he chooses to post is at his discretion..besides compared to all the other nasty things floating around about Bamzs, having a pix of BP in his underwear is a walk in the park. This site is by far the best of all the other blogs and I think it’s unfair to criticize him everytime he puts up a thread that is not to our individual liking.

Please don’t make it a habit of apologizing to us, especially since a lot of us has yet to apologize for the whining and occasional bossiness. But I would advise you to be careful; you have probably noticed that other Brad/Angelina/’Brangelina fansites have made regular treks here, trying to redirect regulars onto their sites.

It is good to see you name again and I completely understand your misgivings. I pulled back for a while myself and when I came back it appeared to be the Wild, Wild West. I would have to say that losing sincere and respectful posters is just as bad (if not worse) as the having to take sides for peace. I really felt conflicted for actually having harsh words with another poster, especially when I agreed with the gripe just not the method of solving the situation. After having read JJ’s post, I think that in the future we should get with him about overzelous fans and haters alike to help clear up the thread and not participate to make it any more hostile. Easier said than done believe you me but it is definitely worth the effort if it will convince posters such as yourself to stay.

I need to just put my money where my mouth is, the thing is - like most fans - I like talking about the family, and the old threads are now ridiculously hard to find when they end up 4-5 pages back. So we end up bringing great ‘BREAKING NEWS’ to horrible threads.

Like someone said, AJ is still in Africa — that should be a thread. But I guess, if something were to break, we’d just post it in the unwilling Brad ‘underwear pic’ thread.

Pics of BAMZS out and about, kajillions of Baby Shi pics, Grandma. Sometimes I even help by posting links I would GLADLY give Jared to use, for instance, I put a side by side of Shi next to Jon Voight and it was pretty breathtaking in similarity. Not that fans want to see that either - but I’d still rather see THAT, than a pic I KNOW probably makes Brad grind his teeth now in rage.

Bottomline, at the end of the day - we as fans, IF we were willing to bet, could safely assume that it doesn’t fill Brad with the warm & fuzzies to see this pic time and time again, USED IN THIS WAY.

I think Brad thought, as with his Stephen Klein photos with Angie that ran in W, that there’s a time and a place for art.

We know he’s acting differently since Wilson leased these out to VF w/o Brad’s consent. I firmly believe his actions with Wilson, led Brad to have direct control over the ‘W,’ images — (and yet Maniston and Bennetts had something to nefariously say even about THAT in her whiny back-stabbing career killing VF interview), yeah Maniston….God forbid Brad get control of who and how decides to use he and Angelina for future profit. They knew that when they were commenting on it, and still they tried to imply, not only was he a possible cheater, but he was a cheater who decided to make money off of Angelina.

That b*tch should be relegated to voiceovers on public access.

But anyhoo - I’m guessing the favor and performance art work Brad did for Wilson, was what inspired him to NEVER AGAIN have pics taken by an artist where he doesn’t also get approval of how that image, no matter what the medium, is used.

Brad did NOT intend for these shots to solely be used as ‘Brad in Underwear’ pics, which is how we’re looking at them, right now, yet again, IN THIS THREAD - today.

So, NO. I do not like this thread. Lately, it’s like - I come here, and have been holding my breath. Why is that? I seem to be saying way more than I should of this site — ‘of ALL the threads that you could post on this amazing couple, why in hell go THERE??’ Be it the marriage counseling, other tabloiud lies, or pics we know Brad can’t stand seeing - and he )and WE) had to go 4 weeks seeing this exact same pic on the newstands KNOWING Brad was pissed and didn’t want it there. NOW, we have to see the SAME pic in a thread here on Jared. As it stands now Jared, we’ve seen this pic, THIS PIC - for the same amount of time we’ve seen the ‘New Baby Shiloh’ PEOPLE pics when she was first born! Why IS that??

This was a live action, slo-mo performance piece, NOT to be used to show Brad in his boxers. End of story.

VF abused the idea of Wilson’s vision (at the time) and pimped both he and Brad out for money to show Brad in his boxers - and Wilson has eagerly gone right along with it.

Sigh.

In other words, conversely, Stephen Klein, even though he took the ‘W’ shots, can NOT sell them to Vanity Fair for a cover, or plaster them up in Times Square, or make wallpaper out of them. Not that he would.

Wilson can.

Wilson apparently can do whatever he wants with this photo - which was taken as part of a performance art thing, and I repeat, is NOT just a pic of Brad in his boxers - which of course is the most salacious, and sells the most, and of course is now what Wilson is marketing this as.

..and where we have to see it here - so it will probably be up for a good week or more…all told, I guess between the time it was on newstands and here, that will be MORE THAN A MONTH — more THAN 4-6 WEEKS STRAIGHT fans have seen this EXACT SAME PIC.

…and yet here it is. There was no other old pic, that culd have been grabbed, no other linked image created by a BAMZS member that would have been fun to use…no other current news pic from the last 2-3 montsh (of which there are MILLIONS) that could have been a thread…

We get to see the unwilling photo of Brad in boxers, and people gawking at him.

Jared, I am a long time Bamzs fan and I don’t share Clinqua views on this thread or most of the other times she has complained to you.

Personally, I don’t want to see an Angelina African thread until we get more information and when she has returned home safely from Africa. kidi- I agree, the closeness is special. I never understood why some people gave AJ a hard time for carrying Mad. It’s not unusual to carry your kids and it had to be the safest option also for her after seeing how the paps mob celebrities. I watched that E channel special about the paps and it made me sick when they showed Britney Spears holding Sean and there were about 20-39 paps on all sides of her and all their camera’s were physically touching her son and flashes going everywhere. Scary.

The picture at the top of the thread is of a couple at the gallery looking at Brad’s picture in the gallery. It’s not salacious.

Thanks for reading my posts and no I don’t mind if you want to use as an arsenal for future debates. If and when using as a reference please do give humble “first and last post” credit where credit is due. Moreover, you don’t need to cite my post, I have confidence that your writing skills in your arsenal of debate are better armed than you are aware of.

Oh, I usually do, and I’m not making a big deal out of it either. I just reached a point, and said, ‘enough is enough’. I always called those people with horrible things to say about Brad & Angie, ‘zombies and slugs’. I always called them ‘caca’, and still do. I just feel that some people on JJ are giving BAMZ fans a bad name, and it should be that way. They attack others who express themselves with naughty language and rude comments. It doesn’t have to be that way. If you disagree with something post something that shows you’re a mature person, for goodness sake. I don’t agree with everything I read, but I skip and move on.

For those who think I just started posting, you’re dead wrong. I haven’t posted in a long while, but I’m not new. This was such a fun place to be, but certain people have made it not so.

I have no problem with Cliniqua. I think everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. As long as a poster is not attacking another poster, I have no problem with anyone who wants to post.

My youngest son was born a very serious child and very smart. He was quite and observed everything that was happening around him. My friends even gave him the nickname the ‘Little Professor’ due to him always observing his enviornment and being smart whip.

He didn’t smile every minute of the day. But when he did smile at me or someone else it was the most beautiful smile.

Each child is different and there is no hard fast rule that she has to smile to make online blogger happy! And I am sure if she was grinning and carrying on for the paps some would have a problem with that too.

Damn, my blood pressure goes up when I read posts like these. I’m so glad Angie can withstand ALL the **** said about her, because God knows I would go crazy reading such nonsense like this. And you finish off by telling us to remember those comments? Is that the same way we are to remember how Brad and Angie were to be done in just three months after they started seeing each other, how we are to remember that Angie was never going to give Brad a biological baby, how we are to remember all those ‘break up’ rumors last summer, etc.

Some of us simply do not feel the way you do about seeing pictures from an exhibit for an authors Brad agreed to pose for. So, IMO Brad had no issues with the guy publically showing a display of him in boxer shorts , Brad had issues with Vanity Fair using photos as a cover without his permission. I don’t remember you being outraged whenh we saw Photos of Brad/Angelina on the rooftop of a hotel Brad.Angelian were vacationing in when Brad was dressed in white boxer shorts/T shirt. Those photos were paparazzi photos and were not approved by Brad posing for this artist were.

Most of us who do thank Jared are sincere. I don’t thank him on every thread, but I try to make a point regulary to doing so as well as chiming in when some other are not appreciative. That is not brown nosing , but thanking him and letting him no there are people who disagree with the naysayers.

What with commenting on everything else I almost forgot to mention that I finally was able to read some of Rica’a fanfic and I tell you what…she did such a good job that I could actually place B & A in her scenarios. They were very good works of fiction! If anyone here keeps in contact with her can you pass along how much I enjoyed? I didn’t get to finish it all and I think I will have to get with Passing Through to finish.

On the topic of the children resembling. I can tell you that children with NO biological bonds that are raised together tend to start picking up characteristics of each other. I think it has something to do with speech and mannerisms which affects facial expressions.

You’re absolutely right. I agree with you 100%. True fans of the BAMZS, cannot help to response in kind if there some who come in this site without purpose except just be plain nasty and start intrigue amongst the bloggers. You want to ignore them but they keep on repeating their nastiness and spew garbages, until you have enough and response to their nastiness. These are the ones that need to be ban on any site, as far as I am concern.

I appreciate JJ, and by the same token, he gets a large number of hits from BAMSZ fans (and trolls no doubt). We love his site and he has a large number of devoted return bloggers. It’s all good.

HOLLYWOOD — Brad Pitt did not win an Oscar on Sunday night, and film producer Graham King — the Briton who collaborated with Martin Scorsese on the triumphant best-picture winner The Departed — is annoyed.

Pretty Boy Pitt? Oscar? What the Hades in Hollywood, he was not even nominated!

That is the point. And we are not talking about the perceived oversight in the supporting-actor category, where Pitt was originally thought to have a chance for Babel.

Instead, Pitt is one of three co-producers of The Departed. King openly shares with both Pitt and Scorsese. But the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences do not agree.

“The PGA makes (the) rules and we fill out our forms, and they came back and denied Brad’s credits,” King revealed backstage in the wee hours yesterday morning.

“In fact, Marty and I appealed, on behalf of Brad’s credits, and I will say that now I think he deserved the credit on the film. He did so much for the picture. But I don’t make the rules and their decision is their decision.”

This is no trivial matter in Hollywood. No matter what it says on the screen, only the “official” producers on a best-picture nominee are deemed worthy on Oscar night. And the Academy and the PGA have a rigorous process to decide who gets the credits in each case. There is a special appeals board.

So, after rejections and appeals, neither Scorsese nor Pitt won the best-picture Oscar in tandem with King, although Scorsese clearly was delighted to have his own trophy as best director. So he was not making a fuss.

Pitt also has not raised a ruckus, at least in public, even though he ended up with nothing.

This is the second straight year the best-picture winner has been dogged this way. Much to Paul Haggis’ chagrin on Crash, his key collaborator Bob Yari was denied a producer’s credit. Yari tried to sue the Academy but it went nowhere, except to sour Oscar night. Also denied was Crash star Don Cheadle, another key player in getting the film put together — one of the jobs a real producer does. On Oscar night, out of six co-producers with a screen credit, only Haggis and Cathy Schulman were given the elusive “official” honour.

News bulletin: Just because I have offered my constructive criticism to Jared, that does not mean you have to go out of your way to plant your lips firmly on his ass and emit a loud sucking sound, then commence to ragging on me, and getting all the weak-minded types to chime in all lemming like to have a go at me as well. The anti-Cliniqua brigade is on their way, because God forbid - she express a ‘WTF??!!’ attitude about seeing the Unwilling Brad in Boxer Pic as a thread for the 3rd time in a row, as if seeing on the stands for 4-6 weeks wasn’t enough!

I have no problem with people giving their opinion but I’ve wonder about a lot of the post why are they not through e-mail. It seems if somone has a problem with the owner of the blog e-mail them the entire board doesn’t need to know about it. Just like when posters go at each other for pages and pages and pages, hey have at it, duke it out with each other by e-mail the entire board doesn’t need to pulled into it. It just breeds negativity and brings the entire board down IMO. This is not directed at you but a general comment on the boad as a whole.

Call me old school if you want, but all this about how much “holding time” each parent is putting in is ridiculous! The ones who are complaining probably had to let their children sleep with them until they went off to college! Believe it or not you do not have to hold your child nonstop to show them that you love them! Now don’t get me wrong I see nothing wrong with parents who feel like they can’t get enough of holding their children but at the same time there are those of us who use a different approach. I know with my children I did not hold them all the time just because. I wanted them to feel comfortable with theirselves and know that Mommy’s love was there with or without my touch. My children are all grown and have children of their own but they are still my babies. I have had people comment on our bond and friendship and say that I must have held them 24-7. NOT!!!!!!!!!! I always cynically respond saying that maybe if I had held them more they would be so sick of me now that they would need to visit so often :twisted: Okay I think I’m getting off track. The point I’m trying to make is that there is no right or wrong or ma or min holding time. It just depends on whether there is genuine love. I for one believe that Angie and Brad alike unconditionally love all of their children. Oh, and for the other argument about who gets more love..any parent of multiple children will tell you that you WILL NOT love all your children exactly the same because they ARE NOT EXACTLY THE SAME. You give them love unconditionally tailor made to their needs. Each holding their own special place in your heart. JMHO

Regarding Brad posing for the photo, he wasn’t an unwilling poser. He didn’t pose for a personal picture for a dude. Brad knew this photo whether in action or still would be on exhibit. Brad’s a ‘big boyy’, he objected to VF only . This photo is not solacious. It’s all good if you dig this, if not, then don’t bother.

The drama here at times is unreasonable and scary at times.

Don’t get so paranoid. Relax and open your minds to the views of others, get over yourself, and realize that everyone can be a fan and not be in lockstep with our thinking.

I’m in agreement with others who have said nice things about you, JJ. You’re one of the first sites that I visit daily, especially because of you’re a fan of BAMZS. I understand that you’re not allowed to post certain pictures, so that’s why I usually visit the fan sites. Don’t let the “loonies” get to us!

Brad and Angie fans have a mutually beneficial relationship with Jared. His site was built on the loyalty of Brad and Angie fans mostly because he did not allow this site to become a cesspool of hate like Perez and dlisted. Perez is a fan of Brad and Angie but I don’t see the fans rushing over there to post. The fans that started posting when Jared was just a blogspot deserve a lot of credit for the site as well as Jared. It attracted a level of intelligent posters that was not available on other blogs, even non B&A fans lurked just to read the posts even when they did not agree with us, they fought very hard with jared’s help to keep control of this blog.

If we are supposed to be grateful for him putting up a new thread, he puts new thread of other celebrities that hardly gets any post where as any B&A thread attracts fans and non fans alike and does grow, as much as I am thankful that he keeps it clean, I wonder why he allows belligerent behaviour from some posters even when directed at him.
Jared is a businessman and he knows that Brad and Angie constitute sure hits, the fans embraced his site a long time ago and have been very loyal, I hope he does not take that loyalty for granted. His site was not different from TMZ in the beginning, the difference is that we chose to stay here and fight, and in so doing, chased away the hateful, ignorant gnats to other sites, the same could have happened to TMZ if we had chosen to fight there instead of here.

In as much as we could be thankful that he keeps the threads clean, he should also be thankful for our loyalty. I have seen fans here promoting jared to other blogspot, our loyalty is priceless.

#80: I can vouch for Maria. She has been posting at JJ’s since last year. Don’t do that to people who you know nothing about, please. I really liked the dress as well, but than she looks good in anything. ITA- the questions were very good for a change and directed to the movie and the plot.

How is your daughter? Can you believe Shiloh is 9 months old, I wonder how many teeth she has. All my kids walked around 9-10 months and never crawled much, she must be quite mobile by now , either way walk or crawl they are so fast, you have to watch them like a hawk.

I forgot to write that my husband who is 40 and my daughter who is 3 do complain each other to me….. While I am trying to make the hell look like a home again, I have to make peace with these two also until next time!

Once I even clean the food from the ceiling of the sitting room! Because she didn’t like the spoon her father gave her.

Thanks for asking. I can’t recall how many teeth my daughter had when she was 9 months old but I well remember that she was biting everything and everybody around her. We were just in pain because of this 9-month-old monster……

Angelina Jolie visits camp in Chad to assess situation for Darfur refugees
BAHAI, Chad, February 27 (UNHCR) – UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie on Tuesday completed a two-day mission to a refugee camp in eastern Chad which enabled her to assess how the security situation has deteriorated for Sudanese refugees since her last visit to Chad three years ago.

Jolie, who visited both Chad and neighbouring Sudan’s Darfur region with UNHCR in 2004, said she was struck by the sense of hope she encountered at the Oure-Cassoni camp near this town and by the widespread desire for peace-keepers to be deployed in Chad.

She also reflected on the hardship and suffering she had seen at the camp, which is located less than five kilometres from the border with Sudan. “It’s always hard to see decent people, families, living in such difficult conditions,” she said. “What is most upsetting is how long it is taking the international community to answer this crisis,” Jolie added.

The award-winning actress had to travel through a sandstorm on Monday to reach the Oure-Cassoni camp, which with a refugee population of more than 26,000 is the northernmost of 12 UNHCR-run camps in eastern Chad housing more than 230,000 refugees from Sudan’s troubled Darfur region.

She was greeted at one of the camp’s many primary schools by singing children as the desert wind whipped against the plastic sheeting serving as the structure’s roof and walls. The encroaching sands and storms make their hard life even tougher, with many of the tents and mud-brick houses partially or completely buried. Wood for cooking and heat is scarce in the region, and competition for the resource causes friction between the refugee and local populations.

Refugee women are sometimes sexually and physically abused while out collecting the precious scraps of firewood beyond the protection of police provided by the Chadian government to help ensure refugee security.

At the school, Jolie listened to children’s tales of daily life, their concerns and their hopes of one day returning to their homes in Darfur. The room was filled with laughter as she and the children took turns drawing for each other. She later visited mentally ill refugees.

On Tuesday, Jolie visited a man-made reservoir that feeds the camp with water, but which is now almost empty following disappointing rains last year. Its shrinking reserves are a matter of concern for the refugees and UNHCR.

She then sat down with a group of women and discussed their desire for access to income-generating activities as well as their longing to return home. But the women, who were preparing celebrations for International Women’s Day on March 8, said it was still not safe enough across the border and many of the refugees she spoke to supported calls for a peace-keeping force in Chad.

In a report last week to the United Nations Security Council, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon proposed sending a multi-dimensional peace-keeping mission to Chad to protect civilians and deter cross-border attacks.

The refugees Jolie talked to also drew comfort from recent radio reports saying that the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) had told the Security Council it had credible evidence of grave crimes against humanity committed in Darfur.

“Today, many refugees seemed to have a new sense of hope, and they want to see those guilty brought to trial . . . In order to feel safe enough to return home, these people said they would need to know that the men who attacked them had been stripped of their weapons,” Jolie said. “This is a very important day for international justice. The decisions of the ICC could make a big difference in the lives of these women and their children.”

Jolie had high praise for the UNHCR staff and NGO workers that she met in the camp. “Years into this situation, now finding themselves coming under attack, humanitarian workers’ spirits are unbroken,” she said.

There are more than 230,000 refugees from Sudan in eastern Chad, while some 46,000 refugees from the Central African Republic have found shelter in southern Chad. In addition to these refugees, close to 120,000 Chadians are displaced in the eastern region of their own country.

Hello to all, especially to:

- Alexanderina (belated happy b-day),
- Guli (saying hi before you go for your hiatus in Turkey),
- Curly (curious about your project that you mentioned in previous threads),
- African Girl (always a big fan of your post),
- MF (how’s your grandson?),
- 4Q (how are you coping so far with NY winter?)
- And others (long day at work working with psychotic patients – I tend to get a moment of dementia myself!!!!).

Anyway, today I thought I will unlurk, (if that’s even a proper term) - just one post to share my two cents opinion about the controversy among the fans here at JJ.

Let me make a leap here – I am assuming that majority of the Jolie-Pitt fans that are posting here are adults and mature individuals. So, I just thought that perhaps, we all need some breather, and come to our senses, so that we can remind ourselves that as adults, there are certain expectations on how we should behave in public, especially in stating our opinion. Yes, this is a public blog, which is more reason why we, as adult should observe proper decorum in handling ourselves. Just because we are all hiding under a made-up names, under the privacy of our own space, it still does not justify our “hysteric attacks” against each other over “trivial” things (I’m using the word “hysteric” and “trivial” as a matter of perception).

I must say, that I respect and understand everyone’s opinion here, although I may not agree to some at times. The reality is, we all stand by our conviction, and we can all argue until the end of time, that our individual opinion is correct. But at the end, no one will win (after-all, this is not a contest).

Ultimately, it is really up to us, as individual thinker, to decide what position we take (depending on our values and philosophy). And at some point, there has to be some individual accountability in maintaining boundaries and conduct of appropriateness. I will spare everyone here of my tedious lecture (which I tend to do, considering that in my line of work, it’s what I do all day).

But seriously, the only way that we can all agree, is to focus our energy, more on the positive that this family (the Jolie-Pitt) inspires us - not just because their talented artists, and they have beautiful children, but because they are great human beings (who are also like us, who goes through challenges and disagreements, and hopefully, are able to sort it out, like any mature grown ups) – that’s why we adore them.

As fans/admirers of this beautiful family, we should all unite, and be proud.

Sheri- I am having my first glass of Beringer white-zin, now tell me what you are having and we need to discuss the kinds of cheese we need to recommend also :lol:

Estelle-unfortunately thats my job for 25 years so I always get roped into doing bunch of fun experiments at the kids schools on science week to get them interested in science especially the girls. Hey are you home yet?

AG- where are you? I loved your posts today (well they are always good) come on and lets have fun. Sorry I hadn’t checked my mail for awhile, just did. I thought I might catch a glimpse of you at the Oscar’s with GC but you were a no show :-(

BTW-the interview I posted earliar AG talks about her focus now is ICC, she is so articulate and devoted to her work for UNHCR ashe is so impressive.

Everytime I come here, it never gets boring. This forum has drama, comedy, villians, horror, history, and camaraderie. I skip on some of the long, inane, boring and villianous post, but overall…this forum is great.
