Hello Maria!

It is good to see you name again and I completely understand your misgivings. I pulled back for a while myself and when I came back it appeared to be the Wild, Wild West. I would have to say that losing sincere and respectful posters is just as bad (if not worse) as the having to take sides for peace. I really felt conflicted for actually having harsh words with another poster, especially when I agreed with the gripe just not the method of solving the situation. After having read JJ’s post, I think that in the future we should get with him about overzelous fans and haters alike to help clear up the thread and not participate to make it any more hostile. Easier said than done believe you me but it is definitely worth the effort if it will convince posters such as yourself to stay.

I would think that one reason Brad’s parents are visiting now is to help out with the kids since Brad is working and Angelina is away.

Brad and Angie visit Brad’s parents and vice versa. They have a healthy relationship.

This is what Angie said about going to Brad’s parents’ house:

Do you have any respite from the paparazzi at all? We were just recently in our home in Cambodia and nobody was there. So there are ways and there are places (where there are no paparazzi). We also went to Brad’s parents’ house for about five days. That was lovely and quiet. Hopefully in the years to come, maybe if we work less, we’ll have more of a quiet life. Then our kids will have a more normal life. We just try not to let it (the paparazzi issue) affect us. It only does when we want the kids to have more freedom but other than that, we try to ignore it. There are worse problems so we’re OK.

The regular posters on your blog recognize you as Brad and Angie supporters but because you are, unfortunately you become a target as well by those who just want to attack anyone who supports this family. You are well within your rights to determine who posts here and for me as a long time lurker and regular of the BAMZS threads, I hope you continue to use your prerogative to eliminate derogatory and meanful posters. There should be no acceptance of or silence towards hateful disparaging remarks with a vile attitude and intent amongst civilized respectful individuals.
If one is intelligent…expressions of extreme distain or acrimony can be written eloquently without insult and degradation to another human being. As an advocate of free speech, I purport that freedom to express oneself does not mean freedom to randomly hate especially directed at those who cannot defend themselves without ramifications, such as immediate removal and permanent ostracism from the site unless proven and consistent behavior modification.
It is your task and as the overseer and manager of this site it must be overwhelming and frustrating at times, but you are doing a great job and there is no need for you to explain, apologize, justify or concede to anyone’s request. Do not jeopardize your site with unwarranted legal ramifications with pressure to post photos you are not legally entitled to…we all lose if you do. The Just Jared BAMZS threads have an incredibly highly intelligent, educated and sophisticated base of posters and lurkers from all over the world who congregate here to read, obtain information and links from each other, who exchange thoughts and ideas on a multitude of topics and who support one another.
I can only speak for myself but like me, I suspect the majority respect and appreciate you and the forum you have provided for us to meet like-minded. When Brad nixed a VF cover, they went straight to Wilson to get some image, any image, that Brad did not have direct domain over — Wilson had this live action video art, and he leased it to VF.

I’m willing to bet, Brad was at the very least disappointed, and at the very most pissed off. So do I as a fan like THIS thread.

Yet here we are looking at it, and making a thread of it. ..and I’m sure, just like marriage counseling thread, we’ll be back - hey perhaps even my commenting negatively helps it out. Maybe I’m doing my part to get this linked across all corners of the web, by making thread another 1000 post+ thread.

I need to just put my money where my mouth is, the thing is - like most fans - I like talking about the family, and the old threads are now ridiculously hard to find when they end up 4-5 pages back. So we end up bringing great ‘BREAKING NEWS’ to horrible threads.

Like someone said, AJ is still in Africa — that should be a thread. But I guess, if something were to break, we’d just post it in the unwilling Brad ‘underwear pic’ thread.

Pics of BAMZS out and about, kajillions of Baby Shi pics, Grandma. Sometimes I even help by posting links I would GLADLY give Jared to use, for instance, I put a side by side of Shi next to Jon Voight and it was pretty breathtaking in similarity. Not that fans want to see that either - but I’d still rather see THAT, than a pic I KNOW probably makes Brad grind his teeth now in rage.

Bottomline, at the end of the day - we as fans, IF we were willing to bet, could safely assume that it doesn’t fill Brad with the warm & fuzzies to see this pic time and time again, USED IN THIS WAY.

I think Brad thought, as with his Stephen Klein photos with Angie that ran in W, that there’s a time and a place for art.

We know he’s acting differently since Wilson leased these out to VF w/o Brad’s consent. I firmly believe his actions with Wilson, led Brad to have direct control over the ‘W,’ images — (and yet Maniston and Bennetts had something to nefariously say even about THAT in her whiny back-stabbing career killing VF interview), yeah Maniston….God forbid Brad get control of who and how decides to use he and Angelina for future profit. They knew that when they were commenting on it, and still they tried to imply, not only was he a possible cheater, but he was a cheater who decided to make money off of Angelina.

That b*tch should be relegated to voiceovers on public access.

But anyhoo - I’m guessing the favor and performance art work Brad did for Wilson, was what inspired him to NEVER AGAIN have pics taken by an artist where he doesn’t also get approval of how that image, no matter what the medium, is used.

Brad did NOT intend for these shots to solely be used as ‘Brad in Underwear’ pics, which is how we’re looking at them, right now, yet again, IN THIS THREAD - today.

So, NO. I do not like this thread. Lately, it’s like - I come here, and have been holding my breath. Why is that? I seem to be saying way more than I should of this site — ‘of ALL the threads that you could post on this amazing couple, why in hell go THERE??’ Be it the marriage counseling, other tabloiud lies, or pics we know Brad can’t stand seeing - and he )and WE) had to go 4 weeks seeing this exact same pic on the newstands KNOWING Brad was pissed and didn’t want it there. NOW, we have to see the SAME pic in a thread here on Jared. As it stands now Jared, we’ve seen this pic, THIS PIC - for the same amount of time we’ve seen the ‘New Baby Shiloh’ PEOPLE pics when she was first born! Why IS that??

This was a live action, slo-mo performance piece, NOT to be used to show Brad in his boxers. End of story.

VF abused the idea of Wilson’s vision (at the time) and pimped both he and Brad out for money to show Brad in his boxers - and Wilson has eagerly gone right along with it.

Sigh.

In other words, conversely, Stephen Klein, even though he took the ‘W’ shots, can NOT sell them to Vanity Fair for a cover, or plaster them up in Times Square, or make wallpaper out of them. Not that he would.

Wilson can.

Wilson apparently can do whatever he wants with this photo - which was taken as part of a performance art thing, and I repeat, is NOT just a pic of Brad in his boxers - which of course is the most salacious, and sells the most, and of course is now what Wilson is marketing this as.

..and where we have to see it here - so it will probably be up for a good week or more…all told, I guess between the time it was on newstands and here, that will be MORE THAN A MONTH — more THAN 4-6 WEEKS STRAIGHT fans have seen this EXACT SAME PIC.

…and yet here it is. There was no other old pic, that culd have been grabbed, no other linked image created by a BAMZS member that would have been fun to use…no other current news pic from the last 2-3 montsh (of which there are MILLIONS) that could have been a thread…

We get to see the unwilling photo of Brad in boxers, and people gawking at him.
