The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is “a lyrical, brooding, atmospheric anti-Western that gave me the goose bumps numerous times throughout the 2 hour and 20 minute run time.”
And Brad Pitt’s performance? AWESOME!
“Brad Pitt plays Jesse James with cocky swagger and is just awesome. He owns the role, it’s like it was tailor made for him. Just watch the way the guy smokes his cigars and moves his head and eyes….methodical and unnerving.”

Okay, the clip had Casey Affleck speaking so, I can’t say anything about Pitt but IMHO, he hasn’t done anything since Se7en. He’s played the same characters, the same way, down to the way they eat food. Haven’t seen Babel yet, so that’ll be on my list but I hope he does a better job than the rest of his recent flicks. The only good performance in Mr. and Mrs. Smith was him trying to keep the feeling in his pants (for Jolie) NOT erected. He barely did that by the way.
It is soooo easy to ignore.

Oops, sorry, meant goose bumps! No, not sensitive, just got the same feeling the reviewer was talking about. I’m looking forward to seeing a western again and I have a feeling Casey Affleck is going to be very good in this movie, too. If you’re not a Brad Pitt fan and don’t think he’s a good actor, then you probaby won’t like him in this one, either. I am a fan and think he is a good actor, so I am looking foward to its release.
Sometime they airbrush it, sometimes they don’t. You can def see it more in that still shot. Sometimes he’s a hunk hunka man, sometimes he reminds me of Edward James Olmos with all those scars.

Guli- I saw the post with me as a reference. No problem at all. I answered that it was an understatement to say I had a hard time starting here. Perseverance , and a little abuse, was the key to sticking it out.:lol:
Gotta admit, you’re pretty mature. IF you’ve ever posted here, you notice that if your any type of a Pitt fan, and anyone disagrees, the person that likes Pitt gets pretty upset and immature very quickly. You on the other hand took it in stride, answered the question and reitterated your point.
Good job and most of us could learn from you of HOW TO BE A GROWN UP!
