America Ferrera @ NAACP Awards 2007

Ugly Betty picked up the NAACP Award for best television comedy series. America Ferrera, who plays Betty, said while accepting, “We knew theme would connect with the American people, who wanted to see fresh faces they can connect with on television.”

Thanks for the post Just Jared. The Image awards were very good. Bono gave a moving and fiery speech. “Ugly Betty” is an entertaining and diverse show. It is a fun show to watch. Congrats to all the honorees. Mary J is at a career and personal best.

Go America/Betty!
There is not one character I dislike in this (apart from the shadowy ex-editor in bandages); hope this show gets all the attention it deserves.
