Angie just said Brad likes to really be in the moment with life…to slow down and enjoy what is happening right then.

I personally think there are many together young women who have had very public splits in Hollywood - who NOW look towards Jennifer Aniston as how NOT to behave in, during and after a split. Reese Witherspoon, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Hilary Swank (she did VF, but you never got that there was rancor between she and Lowe), etc. Simply put, she’s a joke - and has damaged herself by the way she’s handled it from DAY ONE. Since Maniston’s own shameful media whoring where she stabbed Brad Pitt (known throughout Hollywood as a decent, nice, compassionate and KIND man) there seems to have been several high-profile women who have also experienced break-ups who’ve gone OUT of their way to not be like her. They seem to be intent on appearing as strong and together young women — and do not want to be like Maniston - i.e., vengeful, spiteful and whoring their break-up out for press. It seems when these women do talk about their break-up, they make sure they share responsibility in the failure, and want to be seen as trying to amicably get along with their exes. Maniston and Huvane did the opposite, she created a war, a grudge match, and hard feelings — it may have gotten her the support of the mini-vans (and even they are jumping ship now), but in the end, it was career suicide to have done that to one of the nicest sweetest guys in Hollywood.

Just thinking - Billy gave up all rights as Mad’s father and “Thorton” name was dropped.
Angie’s evolution started with the UN involvement and adopting Mad. Billy and her had so much love but love is nothing if two people don’t support each other. Angie was changing seeing so much unfairness and she realized she could be of use to such causes. Billy unfortunately didn’t invision that life. He said he wanted to be more stable….and Angie knowing how much she loved the fact that she continued her path and raised maddox knowing that those choices cost her the man she loved. But it’s those things that have brought her so much joy.
And Angie doesn’t hold it against Billy…she respected his needs and let him go and he let her do her thing.
Angie said that it would take a very special man to want to live the lifestyle (humanitarian, adopted kids and acting) and I think having Brad enjoy this lifestyle with her must be sublime for her. She also said ” I think the world of a man who can be a great father” I think it’s safe to say that she thinks the world of Brad.

A wise person once said to me “This isn’t a rehearsal. This is life!” So true. These haters can choose to dwell on a failed marriage that ended two years ago with their fake and selective morality. That’s their choice. That’s a place they choose to dwell in and no logic or reasoning can bring them from that point.

We BAMZS fans on the other hand celebrate these two coming together and enjoy watching, as Coal said, this international romance unfold.

BTW Coal - forgive me for forgetting the good BAMZers from Canada.

The architecture in New Orleans French Quarter is so interesting. We did a walking tour and went inside a few private homes. Those inner courtyards are lush and private and very Old World. There are also separate dwellings at the back called “garconniere” (?) where the French families used to let their sons live after puberty. Presumably they were deemed too hot blooded to remain in the house! There are also spikes on some the poles leading to the balcony called to discourage amorous suitor from climbing up to seduce the young French maidens inside. Such a romantic, historic, sensual city for our BAMZS family to reside in!

Excuse me but what is this “calling me out” bullcrap? If someone thinks that something I have said is factually incorrect, I welcome their insight, but to imply that I need to be ‘called out’ for ANYTHING is just ignorant on your part. BBT and Angelina may have been married when Maddox was adopted, but he certainly wasn’t present in Maddox’s life long enough to be considered a father. As BBT put it, he wanted to sit on the couch and watch baseball and teletubbies with his daugher while Angelina was off saving the world, so if Maddox was with Angelina, how much time do you really think Maddox and BBT spent bonding? Probably not a heck of a lot. Angelina and Colin never even dated, so that leaves BRAD.

Is BBT still considered Maddox’s father since you are saying he adopted him when married to Angie? Confusing.

BBT gave up all rights to Maddox when he and Angelina divorced. I am not even sure that he was ever the legal father as Maddox’s legal last name was NEVER THORNTON, it was JOLIE until BRAD LEGALLY ADOPTED MADDOX AND HIS LEGAL LAST NAME BECAME JOLIE-PITT. BBT never even acted as a father to Maddox before or after the separation(Maddox was less than one years old) and divorce. They separated 2 weeks after Angelina brought Maddox home to LA from Namibia where he was delivered to her after the adoption was approved by Cambodia. It appears that BBT was not in full accord with adopting Maddox for whatever reason. He has 4 children, one who is around Zahara’s age or so.

MADDOX HAS HAD ONE FATHER IN HIS LIFE AND THAT IS BRAD PITT, NO ONE ELSE. NOT BBT OR JLM OR CF OR ANYONE ELSE. JUST BRAD PITT.

MMS began filming in January 2004, am I right? Maddox would have been 2 years old. Angelina brought him to work everyday, right? So Brad has been around/in Maddox’s life for over 3 years. Brad is Maddox’s only father, legal or otherwise. That is a fact.

KKI - you seem to know a lot about this situation - thanks for your response. Maybe you can answer this - Did Angelina choose Maddox from a group of children or was he assigned to her. Same with Zahara - was she picked out or assigned. They may seem like strange questions but I’m just curious.

Perhaps I need to clarify to you (and anyone else) that while Angelina was technically married when she adopted Maddox I tend to think of her as being a single mom when she adopted Maddox because the process takes a while and I have a pretty good idea that it wasn’t very long after Maddox was adopted that she and BBT split up. Most relationships are pretty much ‘done’ months before the legalities are formalized and wrapped up, as well all well know around here.

Angie didn’t need taming, from what? she just needed to find someonee that meshed well with her. It’s pretty plain to see that Brad and Angie have a deep connection gosh…they have shared so much in such a short time and seem to get stronger and stronger and sweeter together

Wow I just came from there again. I got a headache. If you type in Jolie at the search box, Angelina’s page comes up. Scroll down to messageboards to see a sampling of the topics. You clcik on “more” to get the complete list. But you have to sign up in order for you to read the posts and pot.. Sigh, some of the topics have ranged from Angelina being ani- American to Brad not really liking “her” children and that’s why he only gave his name but not adopted them. Of course, with a couple of exceptions, everyone is an agreement with the negative posts. They lap up the tab stries as if it were gospel and spew hate like I’ve never seen. And for what? What’s the point. So what if you don’t like Angelina? So What? Brad’s board is no better but is slightly less “active”. I really have a headache. gotta go.
