OlderBrad & Angelina: Baby on the Way
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are making the proper arrangements to adopt a child (probably a baby boy) from from Vietnam and find a sibling for Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 10-month-old Shiloh. The superstar couple and their big news make their way onto the cover of this week’s Us Weekly and People Magazine.
Us Weekly first reported the news last month but the Associated Press didn’t officially report on Angelina filing adoption papers until last week.
Brad, Angelina, Zahara, and Shiloh were last spotted out on a Monday morning stroll in the French Quarter while Maddox was in school.
Since January, the Jolie-Pitt family has settled into their $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans, where Brad has been filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (kissing another woman!). But soon they’ll return home to Los Angeles, where Brad will wrap up his Button filming.

Thanks Rachel, I fully concur with your view. So much for these idolising stalkers. There are so many other people, famous and non-famous that adopt and are good parents. But do they get the JoliePitt treatment? No. When Angie was with Billy Bob she didn’t get such accolades, despite adopting Maddox then. Probably because Billy is fugly. This is what it boils down to, they’re getting the extra attention because of their looks not deeds. STOP IDOLISING AND GET A LIFE Y’ALL.

Anon, the problem is that the MEDIA only pays attention to Brad and Angie? The MEDIA should pay attention to other celebrities as well, but the MEDIA doesn’t and only choose to pick on the Brangelina and they know that it sells whenever talking about the Brangelina!!!!!! She said that about Madona adopting from a place that does not allow adoption and she is break their rules by trying to adopt as a single parent since its not allowed to let two people living together to adopt there.

If you don’t mind, please go to the previous Brad Pitt thread. We discussed that “breaking the rules” at length. There are very intelligent posts on that thread, and they are a real pleasure to read.
Zahara does not smile because she does not want to have wrinkles on her face. You, as a woman, have to pay attention on this kind of thing even at 2 of age.
Of course, my answer sounds so ridiculous as much as the question of why she doesn’t smile at all.

I cant grasp this crap im reading.. why are they idolizing them to the point of getting LIVID when someone posts other views.
i guarantee you if any of these freaks approached BRANGELINA with this STALKER LIKE attitude, they would be hit with a restraining order..

I admire them alot for their courage and love towards their causes, i am not up to criticising them , i am an african and i have been staying in Europe for about three years now and i can say this with all authority, the upbringing here is totally and i mean totally different FROM OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD, i know it is all about making the world a round place and all and everyone learning to love onE another , it ain’t going to happen never , cultures, traditions will always be different and with four kids i pray to God they know what lies ahead , because it will be tough many times and easy for just a little time, i wish them the best but something tells me they are ready for the journey but are not really sure how it is going to lead.

My mother was raise with eight brothers in a house with both parents who worked and turned out quite well. I know of a guy who is the youngest of 22 children and all of the kids turned out to be productive members of society.
JP’s have the resources available to them that these most families do not have and from what it seems, both parents (and their families) are very involved in their children’s daily life and one of them is at home while the other works. I don’t see the problem.

I tell ya…It’s like with every new thread, comes memory loss. I can’t believe some are still going on about breaking the law or AJ carrying Zee and BP carrying Shiloh (at different times) is an indication of who loves which child they love.
Roses–she is not breaking the rules. A local radio station (Chicago) this morning was discussing this. Vietnamese law/rules says (I’m paraphrasing)–couples and single men and women can adopt over the age of 25. Cohabitating cannot adopt together, but one or the other can. She is going through an American agency so all of the U.S. rules will be followed as well as the Vietnamese rules. When the child gets here, Brad can adopt it if he chooses (which of course he will). She did not talk against Madonna adopting–she said she personally would not adopt from a country where there were no legal adoption rules. Vietnam has regulations and rules and she is following them.
i think that ANON and RACHEL are jealous that Brad and Angie are not adopting them! That is why they are talking sh***t and not knowing their sh***t……..
Hiya Rachel, Seems like we are on the same page and everyone else on this blog is in lala land. A breath of fresh air indeed… But this is exactly what happens if your life has no focus and is quite bland, you tend to focus on hype and the trivialities of so-called celebrities…

ITA … my parents raised seven of us and they had problems because of financial reasons … but all of us became productive members of society anyway. With Brad and Angelina finances are not a problem, and they have said that one will be at work while the other one works, and they have already demonstrated this. So I really don’t see the problem. Besides, as Lainey’s article has mentioned (whether correct or not) I guess it’s because of the race and adoption issue. Heidi Klum is not being chastised for having three kids in three years (no one has brought up the too close together issue) and neither was Britney (and I guess it’s because their children were biological).
Something about adopting children of another race with golden boy Brad Pitt seems to touch something so deep in people that Angelina Jolie has been pilloried and condemned beyond reason.
