Brad & Angelina: Baby on the Way
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are making the proper arrangements to adopt a child (probably a baby boy) from from Vietnam and find a sibling for Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 10-month-old Shiloh. The superstar couple and their big news make their way onto the cover of this week’s Us Weekly and People Magazine.
Us Weekly first reported the news last month but the Associated Press didn’t officially report on Angelina filing adoption papers until last week.
Brad, Angelina, Zahara, and Shiloh were last spotted out on a Monday morning stroll in the French Quarter while Maddox was in school.
Since January, the Jolie-Pitt family has settled into their $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans, where Brad has been filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (kissing another woman!). But soon they’ll return home to Los Angeles, where Brad will wrap up his Button filming.

what a poor pathetic you !!!
did you ever get a raise from Huvanne?
you must be frustrated that you can NEVER convince us not to love this family.
now, try to get a raise from Huvanne. tell him it’s a harder job than you think. you’re a 2 faced hypocrit. dont lie . you know what i mean. !!!
This was the observation that AC made:
When Angelina Jolie came into the room, just four days after returning from Namibia, she was alone. No handlers, no entourage. True, elaborate precautions had been made to make sure no photographers followed her to the hotel where we met, but there she was, by herself, walking into the hotel suite, smiling, ready to talk.
Notice that he said she made elaborate precautions that she was not followed by a photographer - because a lot of people like Rowan try to say that everything is for PR purposes.

Brad is not a saint. He is more wild in many ways than people know.
###########################################
That I do believe. It comes across in some of his movie roles. That’s why I never bought the “half of a golden couple routine” that he seemed sandwiched into by PR flacks and studio publicity. There was always something smoldering under his outer surface. I suspect that he may just be wilder in some ways than Angelina ever was, and she is probably reaping great enjoyment from exploring who he really is.
Yes Yes Yes .. I agree…
Brad has many layers that Lucky Angie gets to discover….

Rowan, freedom of speech does not entail hate speech. Please consider the context of your previous post in this light.
You are entitled to your opinion on “seeking for accolades therefore adopt children”, but one needs to remember that parents live with their children 24 hrs/day, not only during the time they are photographed, and they have to finance their children’s needs, schools, etc., even their children’s nannies and commit time. Currently, the cost of a baby until 18 year-old for families in the States is around $250k, that is the cost before college. An awfully a big price for “ad-only” little persons, no?
Or try this somewhat peculiar, but more simple, thought exercise: imagine adopting a pet which you do not like and whose needs are much less than a child, and consider living with and providing for this pet for the rest of your life because you believe that this pet provides some sort of status for you, an item for conspicuous consumption. Would you do it so that people would fawn over you? This is not to compare a pet with a child, but to provide you an example that rarely other people’s accolades enter into your decisions and choices about whom and what to include in your life –for good.
Good night/day/morning to all.

Rowan needs to get laid. What a pathetic baboon is he or could it be a she pretending to be a “he”!
You have my wholehearted support for your impending adoption Brad & Angie. Bless your loving hearts & wish all the very best. And may you both continue your good deeds.

824/Jen is Belle….It is quite obvious from your little rant, that you did not pass the ELD exam in Middle School. That’s nothing to be ashamed about. Just keep trying, you should get it by the fifth time. Anyhow, thanks for the laugh.
Addendum to my previous post, 933:
The true cost of their children for Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt, in addition to financing their needs, includes the payments that they would have received if they had worked instead of taking care of their children. If Ms. Jolie declines a movie-offer paying her $10million, then the cost of their children to Jolie-Pitt family is whatever the costs they pay for the children’s needs + $10million. Ditto for Mr. Pitt. By the time their children reach to 18 year old, one has to add the basic cost of upkeep ($250k) + the lost paychecks and multiply the sum with the number of children.
So each time they refuse a script, the cost of “only for public approval” (according to some) children goes up by the amount they would have received from the movie+extras. But, as Lylian put it so eloquently, why would one expect a bigot to be fair?

Eastwood and Jolie Teaming for ‘Changeling’
An interesting pair may be working together

Looks like Clint Eastwood is venturing back to more entertaining filmmaking and he has nabbed quite the star for his next film which is said to be The Changeling for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
Variety reports that Angelina Jolie is in negotiations to star in the film in which she would play a woman whose son is abducted but retrieved; she suspects, however, that the returned child is not her kid. The woman must then confront corruption in the LAPD. Story is based on true events in 1920s Los Angeles.
The current plan is to begin production in 2008 so this one is a ways off.
Up next for Jolie will be the animated feature Beowulf and another animated feature in Kung Fu Panda. She has already finished up her work on A Mighty Heart, which is based on Mariane Pearl’s memoir detailing the terrifying and unforgettable story of her husband, Wall Street Journal reporter Danny Pearl’s life and death. Paramount Vantage is set to release that on June 22, 2007.

Alexanderina:
That’s great news! I hope it materializes. I would love to see Clint Eastwood directs Angelina in a Movie. It would be nice if Johnny Depp or Hugh Jackman will play opposite her.
I also read even Spielberg wanted to do a movie with Brad or Angelina in the future. He mentioned it when Brad & Angeline attended the Berlin Premiere of the movie “Munich” last year with Eric Bana & Daniel Craig.
We will surely hear about it in the next few months.
Hey peeps— the debra poster from this thread is a hater. Saw her posts at the last X thread & she nasty witch.
Whoooohooo, Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood — how cool! :-)
…and in this corner, Maniston and Kirk Cameron in a TV re-make of ‘Eight is Enough,’ airing on Lifetime TV!
Thanks to all the informed bloggers who posted the articles and links regarding Angelina’s numerous charities, which showed those ignorant haters that they are just spouting nonsense. And as for other Hollywood stars who adopted, didn’t we have pictures of Meg Ryan, Sharon Stone, Hugh Jackman and Tom Cruise with their adopted children? How come no one is screaming photo op? Is it Brad and Angelina’s fault that they are the most photographed HW stars, that the papz are constantly after them to take their pictures whether they are walking on the red carpet or just taking a stroll with the kids?
It’s so funny at FF, they said other movie stars were embarrassed to talk to Brad and Angelina at the RC at the GGs. Hah, I guess Renee Z, Djimon H, Maggie G, the Arquettes, were all so embarrassed when they gave the Jolie-Pitts hugs and greetings. Sigh, these haters and FFers are so consistent in their blind hatred! They all will post unfounded, unproven rumors/articles about the JPs and believe in them as factual!

hahahahahaha. Good one Mrs smith!!
I will say something about JD’ daughter being in hospital due to untreated nail wound since nobody is mentioning this. If this thing happened to Mad, Zee or Shi, people will go wild and accuse Angie as unfit or uncaring mother. I am not saying that Vanessa is an unfit mother. This can happen to any children. You do not go wild every time your child has wounds and run to hospital. I also tend to treat wounds lightly and care them myself at home. What I want to say is nobody even gives a beep on JD and VP for this. People are so biased.
Thanks for all those articles on Angie doing things for charities. I think it does not matter what happens in her life, she will continuously do things to help people. I like this side of Angie but I hope that she does not forget that she is also an actress. I love to see her movies – not just serious movies like AMH but more of action/comedy kind like MMS.

Eastwood, Jolie catch ‘Changeling’
Grazer, Howard to produce pic
By DIANE GARRETT, MICHAEL FLEMING
Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are fast-tracking “The Changeling,” with Clint Eastwood looking to direct and Angelina Jolie in talks to star.
Scripted by J. Michael Straczynski, the film will become a co-production of Imagine and Eastwood’s Malpaso. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard will produce with Malpaso’s Rob Lorenz.
Plan is to start production later this year.
Jolie would play a woman whose son is abducted but retrieved; she suspects, however, that the returned child is not her kid. The woman must then confront corruption in the LAPD. Story is based on true events in 1920s Los Angeles.
U and Imagine have been high on the project since acquiring it last summer and placing it on a shortlist of films that Imagine partner Howard intended to direct next. When Howard instead committed to adapt the Peter Morgan play “Frost/Nixon,” he and Grazer began thinking of other filmmakers. Since they expect to follow up “The Da Vinci Code” with a pic based on the Dan Brown novel “Angels & Demons,” it was clear Howard wouldn’t get to “The Changeling” for two years.
Howard, Grazer and Imagine exec Jim Whitaker then called Eastwood and asked him to read the script. Though a fixture at Warner Bros., Eastwood had to enlist outside partners to get his most recent films going: “Million Dollar Baby” and the dual pics “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Letters From Iwo Jima.”
Jolie, who’ll next be seen as Marianne Pearl in “The Mighty Heart” and then in the Bob Zemeckis-directed “Beowulf,” will have to juggle “The Changeling” with another plum project. She’s booked to star in “Atlas Shrugged,” a Randall Wallace-scripted adaptation of the Ayn Rand classic for Lionsgate.
She’s repped by Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski. Eastwood is managed by Lenny Hirshan.
No one else is mentioning that Johnny and Vanessa are not married. Say it with me people DOUBLE STANDARD. That’s why you can take the critics of Angie and Brad seriously because they are just hating. If what they complain about Brad and Angie comes from a genuine place, they will do it with everyone one regardless of who it is.
Johnny and Vanessa have been together for a long time and they seem devoted to each other without a marriage license. Good for them.

I saw a few comments on TMZ and ONTD that if this were Angelina she would turn this into a pr stunt and that unlike Johnny she is the real bad parent (even thiugh she has three children and nothing like this has yet to happen) It’s all just funny bc these are the same people who say the posters here are crazy and obsessed
GOOD MORNING JARED AND AUDREY!thankz for the awaitz moderation.
Bluemoon I saw that too and even though I hope she does it, I don’t think she will. She might be busy this year with the new baby. But it is a testatment to her star power that they would release her name to get some buzz about the project.
