OlderBrad & Angelina: Baby on the Way
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are making the proper arrangements to adopt a child (probably a baby boy) from from Vietnam and find a sibling for Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 10-month-old Shiloh. The superstar couple and their big news make their way onto the cover of this week’s Us Weekly and People Magazine.
Us Weekly first reported the news last month but the Associated Press didn’t officially report on Angelina filing adoption papers until last week.
Brad, Angelina, Zahara, and Shiloh were last spotted out on a Monday morning stroll in the French Quarter while Maddox was in school.
Since January, the Jolie-Pitt family has settled into their $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans, where Brad has been filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (kissing another woman!). But soon they’ll return home to Los Angeles, where Brad will wrap up his Button filming.

Guli, I’m Jammy is going to the vet tomorrow! I’ll try to post new pics of him over the weekend. People are saying that he’s grown more fur..I don’t see it lol My heart melts whenever he sits up, ***** his head and looks me curiously when I stand behind the couch. He’s trying to figure out if I’m actually on it. :lol:

When I’m Clint Eastwood’s age, I hope I’m dead. If I’m not dead I hope I’m spending a lot of time chilling out; I can respect Eastwood’s drive to keep on making movies even as the very bones in his body slowly disintegrate with age, but I can’t understand it. Eastwood’s still not done with the movie industry, even after making two films back to back. His next movie is getting fast tracked (and seriously, it would have to be – the guy seems real healthy, but at that age there’s no point in procrastinating) at Universal by Imagine Entertainment.
The film is called The Changeling, and sadly it’s not a remake of the 1980 George C Scott movie that freaked me the **** out as a young person. And it stars Angelina Jolie, who is surely no George C Scott (although let’s be honest, who would you rather ****? Necrophiliacs need not respond). Written by none other than J. Michael Straczynski, a man whose continued multimedia success honestly baffles me like fire baffles apes, The Changeling is about a woman whose child is kidnapped and then returned, but she suspects the kid she gets back isn’t her son (I was going to say it would be funny if a black kid came back and then I remembered that Jolie beat me to that punchline by adopting the UN). Then she gets involved in LAPD corruption. Not sure how that all fits together, but it’s based on a true story from the 1920s.
The Changeling was originally a Ron Howard film-to-be, but he’s moved on to Frost/Nixon (so bummed he’s the one doing that, but glad I’ll be able to see the real show in New York) and has Angels and Demons, the follow-up to The DaVinci Code, after that. The Changeling’s already been sitting around for two years, so they passed it on to Eastwood. The movie will start shooting later this year.

I agree with you, but I get a bad feeling about interjecting Lily Rose’s ailment into any debate that haters would see, or rather, gloss over.
While Johnny has had two summer blockbusters, critical acclaim, and a huge following, but like Angelina, some of his comments and attitudes, specifically, his feelings about France vs America, could put him and his family into critics’ crosshairs unfairly. I hated that every move and decision that Brad, but especially, Angelina makes are misconstrued and discussed at great length; I worry that sloganeering pro-Americans will use what happened to Lily Rose as a tactic to garner publicity for their cause, whatever it may be.
I realize that people can’t walk on eggshells when it comes to living their lives, but clearly, humankind hasn’t done anything lately to bolster my optimism regarding our nature as a whole.

ANGRY GRAPES: The folks at Us Weekly are still mad as hell over the loss of their Angelina-adopting-an-Ethiopian-baby scoop last week to People magazine, and blaming Brad Pitt flack Cindy Guagenti and Jolie manager Guyer Kazinski.
The Us types claim after the mag tried to get confirmation from Guagenti and Kazinski, one of them handed the story to People on a silver platter.
Guagenti says she’s not the culprit and Kazinski (who didn’t return my call) claims he never heard from Us.

Isn’t this funny? I was over at TMZ and they have the story of Clint Eastwood and Angie possibly teaming up for a movie together and it’s mixed in with 3 other stories. Well, guess what, people are commenting on the other stories but not on this one. It’s like since it’s a positive story for Angie, no one is interested in commenting on it. If it had been negative, you bet they would have responded in droves. Just one of life’s little ironies.
I know that some peoples do not want Jennifer here to be mentioned, but I am always week in TV and thepublications.but we are not these ones purshase the publication , and we are not delighted this seeing in TV.and that to speak of her is not worse of speaking of Anna Nichole Smith or mentioning the other of actors.

Thanks for bringing this good news. The story sounds compelling and quite a part for Angelina. The one complaint that I had about TGS is the little amount of time she was actually onscreen. I understand that the story/plot dictated that, but I remember leaving the theatre and wishing she had a bigger part. Would love to see her work with Clint Eastwood. She sure can hold her own with the big guns in the film industry, can’t she?

Overheard at WonderCon: Jolie Confirmed for Sin City 2

Oveheard from staff officials at WonderCon in San Francisco is news that Angelina Jolie is confirmed in Sin City 2 and will be appearing at Comic-Con in July for the Sin City 2 presentation. This is not 100% confirmed (just about 90%), but was overheard and is likely to be true given the speculations and discussions and the recent news that they are going to begin filming near the start of the summer. Stay tuned for more!
The discussion I overheard was in regards to Jolie (doing interviews or scheduling), and the only connection these guys have is Comic-Con. Meaning that she would be attending Comic-Con, and the only film that she is in that would connect to that would be Sin City 2. Which will begin filming before the summer anyway.

Great news! Eastwood was a well respected and very powerful person in HW. I’m glad our Angie will be working with him. I’m really hoping she could team-up with J. Depp in the near future. the two have that unique personality , it would be a blast seeing them in one film.
