Pitt’s Precious Cargo Sent Home

Pitt’s Precious Cargo Sent Home

It’s a wrap!

It appears that Brad Pitt has finished filming his New Orleans scenes for upcoming movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His motorcycle collection was spotted getting shipped back to Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon. (Brad will continue filming scenes for Button in L.A.)

Looks like we can expect Brad and partner Angelina Jolie to relocate their family back to Los Angeles very soon! Since January, the Jolie-Pitt family has settled into their $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans.

And included in this entry are more pictures never posted here of Brad and Angelina out for a Monday morning stroll in the French Quarter with daughters Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 9 months. The first set of pictures can be seen here.

Should you find yourself @ a loss & pondering what is life all about, asking what’s my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity

Should you find yourself of the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities? Remember the things could be worse. You could be one of them.

Of course, the fighting wasn’t over and anyone could look the information up. But it is so easy to take the lazy route and believe anything that is spoon fed to you.

Everyone knows that China is a very big KEY player in what is happening and that they get a large percent of their oil from Sudan. Allow with the government and jawleens (sp).

Thanks kk1. Hi MF, I hope your son is settling fine into his new house. I posted this once but I don’t think my post appeared, so I’m giving it another shot.

Unfortunately the one we like was taken already so here we are doing house hunting again. I was on the road with this agent today for 4 hrs I saw one I like but it’s too much.

Cliniqua, the conversation was totally nice towards AJ. It started out with the Darfur topic, for the first few minutes. Then Maher asked Mia about how many kids she adopted. Then, he told her she is like a mentor for AJ, or something like that. She then said she has the utmost admiration for AJ.

oh! buying a house? gah…one thing though, don’t buy a house in Hawaii!
ugh…so frustrating. My family is looking for a 5-6 bedroom house and they’re all crazy expensive!! To live in Honolulu area, those houses ranges from 700,000 to millions!! and they’re not even that nice or big. ugh. makes me want to pull my hair because we really want to move and settle down to a new house. And if we want to get a house under 500,000 w/ the 5-6 bedroom, they’re all located in Mililani. And that’s too much hassle because it’s too far from town (honolulu) and the traffic is soooo bad there. ahhh!!! Makes me want to live in the mainland.

anyways, thanks for all the info bamzsters! and thanks JJ for the thread. …still playing catch up. haven’t even finished the other threads. ^^;; laters.

Angelina Jolie: “I narrowly escaped a kidnap plot”
For the first time, Angelina Jolie reveals the shocking threat to her safety - and why she won’t let it stop her charity work.
By Corrine Barraclough

Angelina Jolie is a woman on a mission. As a UN Goodwill Ambassador, she’s now more famous for her charity work than her film roles. We’re more likely to see pictures of her visiting aid projects in underprivileged countries than strutting down the red carpet or out at glitzy parties.

Her incessant globetrotting has worried her partner Brad Pitt, 43, who has voiced concerns for their safety as a family and tried to encourage her to spend more time at their Hollywood home. Hardly surprising, as in the last 12 months alone she has jetted to danger spots including Cambodia, Ethiopia and India. And Brad was right to be worried.

In an exclusive interview, Angelina shockingly reveals that authorities uncovered a terrifying plot to abduct her.

“It was in a small village,” she says. “I won’t say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily.”

It’s a chilling admission from the famously fearless star. Since becoming an ambassador for the UN in August 2001, Angelina’s role has taken her to 20 countries, and some of the world’s most underprivileged regions.

“It became clear to me that I was an incredibly well-off star, and that I had to do something against the screaming injustice on this planet,” says the 31-year-old actress. “Not just by giving speeches, I had to be actively involved. Since then I’ve travelled half the world. I went to see the people there up close. I didn’t shut myself off in some luxurious hotel.”

Despite the kidnap threat, Angelina is hell-bent on continuing her work at orphanages and is determined to carry on her charity work overseas.

“I don’t want to act like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood,” she insists. “But I want to help where there is poverty and destruction. I love Brad very much and on our trips we pull together as a team. Things only get difficult when it affects our children.”

Angelina is a devoted mum to adopted five-year-old Maddox, and two-year-old Zahara, and nine-month-old Shiloh, her daughter with Brad. And she says that the responsibility of mothering her brood has tamed her wild ways.

“I have become more mature,” says Angelina. “I have learned to accept responsibility for myself, my children and my partner. Becoming a mum was the biggest change in my life, and it made me feel like a complete woman. At times in my life I was lost, without a purpose, now I’m more grounded.”

While she insists that she and Brad don’t feel the need to marry, Angelina admits that they want to adopt more children.

And creating a secure and loving home for her family is at the front of Angelina’s mind now more than ever, having lost her mother, Marcheline, 56, to ovarian cancer in January this year.

Distressed Ange was said to have been inconsolable when she lost not only her mother, but her best friend.

“She was more aware of what was going on than most mothers,” Angelina once said. “I always talked to her about my problems.”

Following short-lived marriages to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and US film star Billy Bob Thornton, Angelina has now settled down and her notorious bad-girl streak has been tamed. Gone are the death fascinations, collections of knives and vials of blood.

Today she’s a loving mother and devoted partner. As she reflects on the Angelina of the past, you can almost sense her relief at being so settled.

“I have always lived close to the limit,” she says, nodding. “I’m not sure if there was a key event that changed me, but I first had sex when I was 14. After that I was no longer a little girl. I was a brat with attitude.

“If I was to offer advice to young girls starting out, I would tell them not to focus entirely on their careers. If you are only defined by work, it will eat you up.

“The movie industry does try to manipulate you. I was distracted from my path for a while before I realised and got back on track.

“But without the role of Lara Croft, I would never have set foot in Cambodia. It was only because we filmed there that I got to see the catastrophic poverty of large parts of the population with my own eyes.

“The experience changed me a lot. I, the beautiful, typical American girl, was shocked to see how different life is there. It was a big step in my development.”

Hmmm…does anyone know if this is just a cut and paste job?

But, Oh My God. LOOK at this clip..they are walking up the red carpet and she has just blazed off without him. What a nasty b*tch.

They were so in trouble even then.

I wonder why it took Brad that long to DUMP her.

——————–

Judging from this clip - I can totally see why he did. Brad’s a very sensitive man, and a nice man. I think she was a TOTAL passive aggressive during their marriage, and that she was in the habit of ‘guilting’ the extremely ‘nice guy’ Brad out over his past history. Coupled with Brad’s own conscious culpability in marrying someone he didn’t feel that thunderbolt for - I think he bent over backwards making it up to her. Hence the 4.5 years instead of 2, or even zip. In other words, I think she knew she was rebound and I believe she made him jump through hoops trying to prove she was not..he did this for a while, as he wanted a respite and a breather from heartache and the possibility of being wounded again. Howeve, once he was all healed up, I think he looked at his situation with new eyes…that he was with someone who did not suit at all, that had vastly different goals, that didn’t understand him, and most of all that he was not ‘in love’ with. At some point he just refused to play the bad guy any longer and opted out.

Passing Through @ 03/11/2007 at 3:47 am

Hmm…I’m up late…working on the tab report…still not done with it…maybe mid-afternoon tomorrow before I’m done cuz I’ve got stuff to do in the AM…

anyway…thought I’d read the thread before heading to bed and can I just say…we’ve had some stupid disagreements here in the past - PhotoshopGate, ThighGate, etc.,…but now we’ve got CREDITGATE? ROTFLMAO! WTF is wrong with you people? I wish I had a dime for every time more than one person posted the same info within 10 minutes of each other. I’d be sipping caffeine free Dr. Pepper in the Bahamas right now instead of laughing at CreditGate.

Life is sweet for Brad & Angelina!

This article looks like entirely cut and paste to me.
Angie would never say “her as beautiful girl” also there are so many things that sounds cut out from her previous interview.
