Great news.Our favourite family is getting bigger and bigger.Congratulations to Brad,Angie,Maddox,Zahara,Shiloh and of course the newest member of this wonderful family.We don’t know his name yet,but soon it will be added to BAMZS.I’m so happy for them.

I am from the third world (Uganda) too. There have been many UN ambassadors, they come and go (usually of course they change nothing). Angelina approached the UN to be an ambassador at the time when her life was in crisis. So believe it or not, this is all to cultivate a new image. And whereas charity is good, I believe her involvement in the third world problems trivialises them and makes the people who matter escape while the spot light is on her. What changes in Darur when she hugs a child? Does the government start paying more attention? No one has any illusions that the Sudanese government can actually listen to Angelina Jolie (I mean come on be realistic, even if an official met her, he would be thinking of how quick he can get her into bed). I know I may sound ungrateful but please tell me, which country has changed ever since she visited it? Her intentions may be good. But her image and personal life is like a red herring that draws away attention from the real issues. May be people would take her more seriously if there were less cameras and she had nothing to gain like Publicty. I too was disappointed in how she used the Namibian government like than.

Has Namibia changed an Iota ever since? Politicians are greedy, any one will do icluding Ms Jolie am sorry but I do not believe she has done any good for the past six years she has been a UN ambassador. It has benefitted her most. The problem with Americans and the western world is you used too much PR andyou believe everything preached by the media. Africa’s problems do not need Angelina Jolie to reduce them to trivia as she has done for the last six years. Wake up and the people who matter should step in and intervene Urgently!

Well her main purpose when visiting those countries is to raise awareness. That’s the first goal. The paparazzi always follow Angie, and the tabloids report about her doings whether they are true or not. So when Angie goes to these places and talks about the issues, it raises awareness because the tabloids which should be writing about important stuff like this instead, ARE writing about it. It raises awareness, and maybe someone who doesn’t know about the issue will gain knowledge. The more educated people are, the more change will occur. The more people will want to help, now that they are aware or given an idea of what is really out there in the world.

This post was so out of left field that i actually tried to think of what married man was the cause of this quote . I even thought that that was a person that I defintely had not read about that was the cause of this mental and emotional transgression . But then when I read subsequent responses I began to realize that they might have been writing about her involvement with BP . This is ridiculous . What was reported to anyone wanting to be informed was that AJ and Bp did not become involved romantically until he had extricated himself from his marriage , which he was happy to do since there was no marriage in the real since for at least 2 years before the necessary divorce . So there was no mental or emotional affair . These haters make up things and skew things so much that you have to work at refuting most of the trash that is put out as truth .

Woman- It is sad to hear you write such an ugly post when Angelina is doing her work to raise awareness of countries that are have people that are being maimed, slaughtered, robbed, raped…..the list goes on and on. Angelina’s job as a Goodwill Ambassador is to raise awareness to areas that may be forgotten or have been. How many people were paying attention to Darfur before she brought it into the spotlight, not many. I believe that her goal is to get the attention of people from 1st world countries so they can donate money, write their governments to take notice of this ugliness and hopefully in the end provide some safety and decent living conditions for these people. Why you have to take a good deed and make it ugly is beyond my thinking. I feel sorry for you. Also, Namibia did get new hospital equipment so dr.’s can take better care of pregant women.

Another thing that frustrates me with the Maniston fans is how they always call Angie a homewrecker. I mean nobody REALLY KNOWS what went on, and at the end of the day ITS NOBODY’S BUSINESS. Until we get confirmation from all 3 people that adultery did occur, then we can judge. Until then we have no right because their personal lives are none of our business in the first place. Plus for Maniston fans, the source of their information is from the tabloids that always make up BS.

Dear Woman (#84), you are a poor excuse for one. Especially when you jealously attack such a dynamic young woman who has been working on behalf of the less fortunate throughout the world for the last 7 years. Simply put, you suck. As for what she’s done - her accomplishments as a UN Ambassador are concrete and documented, whether it’s helping fund any one of more than a half dozen projects (Millienium Villages which brings income and revenue to villages and sustains the people, Cambodian Maddox Chivan Project funded solely by her that provides AIDS medicines for inflicted youngsters that would be dead otherwise, Her environmental/forestry project in SE Asia, her Namibian donations of over 2 million dollars to the medical facilities thats eve the impoverished there or lobbying to get the ‘Unaccompanied Minors’ bill passed through Congress…the list goes on and on) Those are just a few of the reasons she was honored as UN Global Humanitarian of the Year and why she has been nominated to sit on the Council for Foreign Relations.

So by all means, keep b*tching just because she happens to have Brad Pitt and his babies, an Oscar and great beauty — but don’t think you aren’t obviously showing your true colors by denigrating all that this young woman does.

I guess if YOU had your way, Angelina would be just another useless Jen Aniston in some salon somewhere in Beverly Hills reading the STAR tabloid magazine, crying in her chamomille tea about boob job stories, and getting a pink & white mani pedi, for fear of what a few jealous embittered broads like yourself might THINK of her humanitarian work.

Shyeah…God forbid she call attention to Darfur’s genocide when she could be getting a brazillian.
