Angelina’s Adopted Son Coming Soon!
Angelina Jolie’s adoption application is being processed quickly and she could pick up her new 3 1/2-year-old son within a few weeks, Vietnam’s top adoption official said Tuesday.
The adoption is being processed quickly because the boy is an older child, and his files were nearly complete before Angelina decided to adopt.
The boy was abandoned at a Ho Chi Minh City hospital as a baby and is currently at the Tam Binh orphanage on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.
One orphanage official said of the boy, who likes to play soccer with the other children: “He is in good health. He is a little bit shy.” The Pitt soccer team is on its way!
Angelina has two adopted children — Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2 — and one daughter with Brad Pitt — Shiloh, almost 10 months.

From the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ site, AGAIN:
Goodwill Ambassadors communicate the message of respect and compassion for refugees to the general public in a uniquely powerful way; they capture massive public attention through public events, television shows, radio interviews and popular magazine articles.
They effectively use their privileged access to mass media and other resources to give a voice to refugees, who are often victims of forgotten humanitarian crises and who often suffer from uninformed negative stereotyping.
Goodwill Ambassadors also voice their support for refugees in meetings with world leaders, diplomats, teachers, national and community officials, as well as the public at large.
It seems that AJ is doing exactly what she has been appointed to do. And better than anyone else.
Curiously, no one questions the institution (UNHCR) or the post (GA).
Curiously, no one questions the work of the other Goodwill Ambassadors.
Only Angie…
So transparent these trolls.
I think we should come up with another name that represents the Jolie-Pitts. With all the children they plan on having the format we use now to symbolize them will soon be confusing.
Does anyone still care? She could adopt 20 kids and it’s going to be like, “Oh yawn, there she goes again.”
Looks like Brad is a man of his word- he said last year that they wanted a soccer team. Also I wanted to say this on the other thread but didn’t get a chance to post - I imagine Angelinas trip to Chad was especially difficult for her, seeing such things and coming so soon after the loss of her Mother. I lost my Dad years ago and still have a bit of a weird feeling visiting Hospitals even now, so extra kudos to her for that. And I am very upset to read the news of (my cyber friends) Coals dad- please pass on my thoughts and love to her at this very sad time.
SO sad to hear about the passing of Coal’s dad.
My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Coal and her family.
————————–
So glad to hear that the Pitts will have the new addition to their family very soon.
Maddox must be in heaven. Someone he can really play with. The girls are likely into dolls….
Thanks JJ for the new thread.
Must get back to work now…..

Nah, you care. Otherwise you wouldn’t even read about it, much less post here.
As Cliniqua would say: you’re so BUSTED!!!
And everybody cares, really. Just browse the celebrity mags, sites and blogs, even the “serious” press… everybody is talking about the new adoption.

Team Lara Croft—Orleans sounds good, but then we would be BAMZSO’s fans, somehow it just doesn’t sound good, but better than a “Q” or another “Z”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I kinda like “BAMZSO” actually - has a cute ring to it. Orleans is just so symbolic for manyu reasons.
If looking for a Q or Z name, they may pick a Vietnamese name that stars with these letters. Here are some Vietnamese names that I thought were nice:
Quang: clear, brilliant; good reputation
Xuan: spring
An: peace, peacefulness
Hien: nice, kind, gentle

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Don’t know who Coal is but prayers and thoughts go out to her/him as well.
I personally think the press and public should give it a rest on how many kids they have (be it by adoption, bio or both). They both have repeatedly said they want a soccer team, and/or 7 kids, i.e., a LOT…so until they get to at least THAT number, they should give it a rest with the ‘expert’ opinions, snide remarks, or polls…one of those dumb rags even had a poll on the first page (I think it was In Touch) - ‘Will 4 kids be too much for Brad and Angelina to handle?’ The dummies responded with like 80% yes 20% no. Yeah, exactly - who ARE these people?! Not only are they movie stars with time, money and resources - they love kids….and they also are not making 10 bucks an hr on an assembly line working 12 hours a day.
Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of fcukers jumping on this board and taking their anger out on Brad and/or Angelina on behalf of someone who has nothing to do with these two? And the fact that the third party’s situation, which no one except the alleged ‘outraged’ is privy to, is being used in a manipulative way?

I am shocked that you are a fan .. reread her vogue interview
“Because of the film we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, God, I can’t wait to get to work. Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts—anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair. And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe. And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration.”
“We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things. And then we just continued to take time. We remained very, very good friends—with this realization—for a long time. And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do.”
End of shooting he was still married and why is they contemplating thnking themselves as a couple he is still married?? I dont care how you lower your standard to justify this relationship, you are shallow like everyone else. You justify it because they good looking but their behavior and lying is unattractive. Seriously, I would of had more respect if they would of just came out and said they were instead thinking everyone is dumb (well apparently they knew some dummies would buy the myth, which they are all know as brangelina hags) and believe their lie. Idolize low standards all you want .. shame on him for not waiting to get mentally involved and shame on her for allowing herself to fall for a married man esp since she “claims” she hates her father for that very reason ..

You seem to have left out a few lines in between the two paragraphs where she said after they realized it was more than they allowed themselves to believe they talked about it and she went her way and he his. She was content on being a single mother to her son, she wished him well. It was after he seperated that your second paragraphs picks back up that they they contemplated rather they should take a shot at a relationship, at being a couple. But I’m sure you left that out intentially.
End of shooting occured after the legal seperation and right before the divorce was filed. I thought what Angelina said in Vogue was great. They clearly did not have an affair while Brad was married.
Woman from Uganda
So let me get this right,
The African Govt is still corrupt, the war is still going on, refugees are still displaced….so what in the world as AJ done? Well, let’s see….the very fact that you are having a discussion about Darfur today, as opposed to last week or the week before when you didn’t even remember there was place called Darfur where people are dying everyday, is a plus to AJ’s visit.
People would love to forget about Darfur, I mean who wants to have the image of dying people in their heads? The powers that be would love to turn a blind eye to these people and the govt there would love to pretend everything is just peachy…but it isn’t and now some people know it isn’t because AJ and others like her, who refuse to allow it to remain in the shadows. So for you to say she trivializes things is appalling. I believe what you really mean is that YOU find it trivial, YOU don’t think it’s important and that my Fellow “African” is YOUR problem not AJ’s doing. Thank goodness, there are still some of us…Africans and Non Africans who haven’t built an immune system to suffering and death.
Oh and the idea that everything is should be immediately fine because she visited the place is quite frankly….a little foolish. It’s taken years and years for the situation to become what it is and you expect it to be erased in a moment? Seriously?!!!
This part of your post -Even if an official met her, he would be thinking how fast he can get her in bed should have tipped me off about the kind of immature person you are. The fact that you’ve got sex on the brains does not mean everyone does.
A little light reading for you. Thank God, some people see the importance of her work.
Celebrities Help in Darfur, Sudan Celebrity Activist Response to Crisis
By Angelina Crowley
Published June 03, 2006
May 1, 2006 in Washington, thousands of demonstrators joined celebrities and lawmakers at rally to push the U.S. government to stop the genocide in Sudan’s Darfur region. A crowd chanted “Not on our watch” at the National Mall. Speakers such as Actor George Clooney, Senator Barack Obama, House Democratic Leader of California Nancy Pelosi, Nobel Peace Prize Elie Wiesel, Olympic Skater Joey Cheek.
Celebrities are called to contribute a helping hand in Darfur, Sudan against atrocities that are happening to the Sudanese people, such as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney are activist in the campaign for saving Darfur. Celebrities willing to risk their lives and time for their beliefs and humanitarian needs seem to be the only priority in this matter. It’s not just about being a big star or making a million dollar budget movie. But for once thinking about others and the world we live in where any danger is possible.
Angelina’s Activism
Actress Angelina Jolie who is in progress of having her baby has gone to places like Sudan, Sierra Leone, and attended a refugee camp in Pakistan that are in devastation. As part of her job as being a goodwill ambassador. For almost an 20 long hour plane ride on a private jet, Angelina accompanied by her companion Brad Pitt and two children Maddox and Zahara. Jolie was no beauty queen, when having to wear a dress with a head cover, a pair of mountain boots for mountain climbing and having to share a tent with other aide workers. But the star manages to beautify herself when she gets a chance from working out in the fields.
Jolie has stepped up to campaign to save lives for the people of Darfur by advertising in USA Today explaining the past killings of 400,000 civilians by the Sudanese government. “The situation in Darfur has been going on for too long. It’s only getting worse. Reports are pouring in about mass atrocities including children getting raped and killed. If people are aware of the facts, I believe many will be driven to action” says Jolie. She asks those interested in the campaign to visit the web site http://www.genocideintervention.net.
Bono’s Work For Africa
Visiting Ghana, West Africa where people are dying of disease and poverty. Rock star Bono is using his humanitarian efforts is determined to help the African people for a good cause. He has spoken in press conferences and has asked the wealthy to pledge their support. The 46 year old rock star of the group U2 has always played a part in activism in Africa. Since performing on Live Aid concert in 1985. He’s not only just a rock star but like an hero to the people of Africa. He is indeed founder, spokesman, and chief benefactor of DATA, a nonprofit debt-relief advocacy group. One of DATA’s goals is to reduce African debt allowing more money to mend health care and education.
Bono has spoken to the Senate Appropriations Committee about international AIDS funding in 2004. But unlikely would have not received funding from Treasury Secretary Paul O’ Neil who had refused to meet with the rock star but after a scheduled half-hour session, the secretary had a change of mind. “He’s a serious person. He cares deeply about these issues, and you know what? He knows a lot about them.” says Treasury Secretary.
Despite of their differences the two convince each other on finding ways to best help Africa’s poorest nations. Bono’s quest is to continue lobbying the united states to help the world’s poorest country. Probably is next to be an ambassador who strives the will for hopeful and understanding for the world to see with their own eyes and to seek Bush’s promise of a $10 billion dollar increase in foreign aid. As a rock star and humanitarian, Bono puts aside his rock star lifestyle and perhaps he can teach younger generations and they can learn from him.
“If people are brave and bold enough to begin a new relationship with improvised nations, there will be popular support” says Bono.
Clooney Goes to Washington
George Clooney witnessed the violence in Darfur and has become a powerful activist and voice in Washington to end the genocide in Darfur, and was on a long trip traveling with his father and journalist, Nick Clooney. Having returned from a week in southern Sudan and eastern Chad where they met with dozens of individuals who fled the brutal and conflicted region to seek refuge and also having seen the atrocities of 2.5 million people. They teamed up with the IRC (International Rescue Committee) that provide mobile medical services for communities struggling to recover for more than 20 years of civil war between the North and South.
Clooney went to Washington lobbying for more U.S. aid to end the violence against Arab milita. He has parted with senators, politicians, celebs, and journalist to join him in the campaign and demanded a rally at the National Mall, where 75,000 people showed up and where Clooney voiced his beliefs. “If we turn our heads and look away and hope that it will all disappear, then they will - all of them, an entire generation of people. And we will have only history left to judge us” says Clooney at Washington rally.
The conflict in Darfur has witnessed some of the worst human rights abuse such as systematic, ethnic cleansing, murder, rape, torture, and enslavement. There were reportedly about two million people who were driven from their homes and having to face starvation and disease. The Sudanese government and Arab militas are preventing humanitarian aid to reach the Sudanese people. Not only that but village crops haven been destroyed and water contaminated with poison.
Darfur’s history for almost three years of Arab milita killing around 300,000 Africans and millions left homeless in a remote dessert region in Western Sudan. George Clooney and his father urge that more activist and Americans donate money for refugees and petition the White House to increase funds to international peace keepers at savedarfur.org. “I must say George Clooney by the looks of his pictures in PEOPLE magazine, has the possibility to be a politician in office. Whether it be a representative or Senator himself.”
To stop these genocide’s we must be aware of the actions that go on in our world by becoming an activist in our very own way. Star power is impacting lives to bring hope and peace and to embrace individuals. They too are advocating support and for you to join them in the fight against injustice, poverty, and sickness and just like anyone wants to see a world a better place.

What do you all think about Shiloh doing a cameo role in Brad’s new movie?? Well the article is from the Enquirer so it might not be true, but I think it would be great to see her in the movie.

LMAO
And just for the heck of it.
Enjoy….
The week was a typical one for actress Angelina Jolie. In the United States, she made the cover of every major magazine that traffics in celebrity gossip, all because of her romance with Brad Pitt. People (”Brad & Angelina Together in Morocco!”), Star (”Why Armed Guards Stormed Their Bedroom!”) and the other tabloids spared no expense to get juicy details of Jolie’s new affaire de coeur.
The movie star had little time to pay heed to the titillating headlines, nor was she likely to see them on newsstands in Sierra Leone, the impoverished African country where she spent the week of May 9 meeting Sierra Leone’s president and survivors of the country’s 11-year civil war.
Jolie’s confab with Ahmad Tejan Kabbah was historic, says one witness. Kabbah opened the meeting to civil rights groups in Sierra Leone (one of the few times he’s ever done that), pledged to work with the organizations in the future and committed himself to responding to recommendations from the country’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Kabbah might not have taken any action were it not for the actress, says Gavin Simpson, a Sierra Leone activist who worked with Jolie during her visit to the West African country.
An example of star power? You bet.
On international issues, the tattooed, 30-year-old actress has greater clout than many U.N. diplomats with Ph.D.s. Jolie opens doors wherever she goes, whether it’s a small country near the African equator or the capital of the United States, where Jolie has met some of Washington’s top policy-makers to discuss refugee issues.
“I see Angelina as the perfect humanitarian advocate,” says Simpson, a member of the activist group Witness, in a phone interview from Sierra Leone. “She brings an immense amount of international focus and attention with her, but she never seeks to use it for her own benefit. On the contrary, she sends the spotlight directly to civic society advocates and makes them more effective and powerful in their own society.”

To Woman…
I don’t belive that you really came from Africa at all… Anyone on this bog can say that he/she is from Africa cause no one can say otherwise.. The reason that I don’t belive is because if you are from Africa, you should be glad that Angie trying to put light on the refugees.. YOu have to realize that any attention that shine upon Africa that can bring more help and aids you should be thankful for it… Like one of the poster said.. if you’re from Africa, then you don’t sound to be proud of being an African… Or that you forgot that there are other African that need help.. since you are able to Bog here on this Forums, it mean that you are no longer living in Africa, and have forgoten your fellow African…
Keeping it real:
I hope that whenever there is a thread on Kate H and Owen W, or Julia R, that you keep up that moral flag of yours and keep on reminding them and the world that they had committed adultery, since Kate H was married when she hooked up with Owen W, and Julia R was engaged to Benjamin B and her cameraman husband Danny M was MARRIED to Vera Moder when they had their affair. Otherwise, I would start thinking that your double standard was only for Brad and Angelina.
why are some people searching when BA got together to proove they had an affair?
this ex couple didn’t have any child , Brad will soon have four: it is OBVIOUS, that it was a BIG issue;
JA was not Brad’s daughter that he must have an eternel duty with her , WTF!!

Brava……Brava AG!
Brilliant post and so on the money.
There are only two issue I have with Brad. He never shows his emotions or PDA for Angie. He always talks about his kids instead. Also, he has so many films he’s acting/producing in one after the other. He never takes a break to be with the family. I’m anticipating Angie’s films, not Brad’s which are like 10.
