I know more than one couple who traveled together to adopt and reported that their new child was overwhelmed and would only go to the mom for days. Meeting one at a time is fine for new sibling. A little bit at a time. He will love Brad too, in due time, but Brad is back home holding down the fort for the girls. Meeting your new best friend, your bro, who looks like you and is not ten feet tall and will treat you with patience and love and will show you with his face that life is about to get really good, is perfect.

SO ARE YOU(A GENIUS). The baby girls are too small to be taken on a long plane ride, exposed to chaos, and then back on a long plane ride. Their well being matters too. They just moved back to LA for Daddy’s work from NOLA, and why take them on this trip? Remember when Brad was asked why he travelled alone from India for the Babel LA premiere “I couldn’t put my children through a 24 hour plane ride each way for a 2 day trip.” They are good parents.

The new little one is facing a life changing adjustment. Mad will help ease his transition.

why would maddox put a smack down on him? from interviews i have heard angelina talk about what a loving brother he is. guli i agree with you, the people who want them to fail and say she got pregnant on purpose have to eat their words, if brad were with her b/c of shiloh only, why would he continue to build a family with her. i hope this will close some mouths.

Haters, just grasp the last straw, that Brad is not here (why is it such a wonder, there are two small ones at home, and he is still filming, haho, have you forgot it, he can’t just leave the shooting of Benjamin Button for quite a few days of trip again…). Don’t forget, you Hagettes, you are always wrong… , you have never been right with this couple, not once in the last two or three years… You’ll see the whole family walking in LA soon, and you are going to explode again. And we’ve warned you, that hating the Jolie-Pitts is not the best bet in life, as you are constantly proven to be an idiot.

The ONLY reason I am on this board is I that am fanatic for adoption (in case you haven’t been able to tell to date) and for raising awareness about helping disadvantaged children. I became an Angie fan the minute she adopted Maddox….the only film of theirs I have seen is MAMS and now The Good Shepherd. I don’t know anything else about their film work, except what’s posted here.

If that family can do something to make multiracial families a model for others to follow, then HOORAY!! If my Ethiopian son gets told someday it’s cool to come from a multracial family, HOORAY!!

And if Angie can help even ONE person with the attention she brings to the plight of the poor children in H*LL holes like refugee camps in Africa, it makes me cry with joy. That little boy with the rope on his feet will haunt me for some time. I would love to know if Angie quietly made some arrangements to help him.

I DO feel like a cyber auntie to this new little sibling. And I am dying with anticipation for him to come home. And if others in this rich country now decide to adopt older children because of it, HOORAY!!! Call them sheep, call them blind followers, call them whatever. All that matters is that another child comes home.

Just curious, why are people mentioning the name Daniel and Orleans? Has something leaked? I was thinking that they would give the boy a name that means something to him in Vietnamese, like they did with Maddox and Zahara. Or maybe this child already has name, something that he knows and responds to. I don’t think Angie would change that because she is too sensitive to a child’s needs and comforts. My guess is that if he doesn’t already have a name…which I’m betting he does….then Brad and Angie will give him one that is Vietnamese in orgin.

I am pretty sure Maddox met his new brother when he went to Vietnam in January with Angie - why would she take him to such a long trip for a few days if it wasn’t that important. He probably bonded a little bit with a little boy, so he is now in Vietnam also to help his brother’s transition to a new family. Anyhow, good luck to them and all the best!

I also believe that happened and that seeing Maddox will be of tremendous assistance to this little one. Mad and Angie may have also learned a few words in his language to communicate with him (probably Brad and maybe Zee have also done this). Or he may speak some French, which all the Jolie-Pitts except for Shiloh have some knowledge of.

Well, as if anyone needed anymore evidence of who it is driving the speed at which she is adoption, its of course Angelina. Poor Brad, the only one who cares about the biological daughter.

As IF they couldn’t have gotten a nanny or Brad’s parents or someone to watch Shiloh and Zahara so that Brad could go with to pick up Angelina’s new accessory. And gee, Angelina, you think that a 3 year old boy who is supposedly “shy” doesn’t need to meet the man who he’s supposedly going to call “Dad” for the rest of his life? She sucks.

LOL call me a blind follower! I can’t wait to bring some kids home!!

Please keep on posting and maybe when this euphoria dies you can educate us how to make a difference to make th adoption process easier, like giving us links (I know some folks have), or people in power to write to or even start a petition etc… Many thanks for your posts again…
