Jolie To Arrive in Vietnam Tonight

If all goes according to plan, officials say Angelina Jolie could bring her newly adopted child home from Vietnam by the weekend.

Angelina is expected to arrive in Vietnam late Wednesday night and attend an adoption ceremony with Vietnamese officials on Thursday morning.

The 3-and-a-half-year-old boy Angelina is expected to adopt has been living at the Tam Binh orphanage (pictured) on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.

good morning BAMZS? fans, The way some of these people carry on about love is not enough to go around. I’m from a family of four and I must admit I was jealous when the “new one” came around, but I got over it and soon I was glad to have another kid to play with….that is after they got through the blob stage ;) One would think they were all an only child!

LONDON GIRL why don’t you adopt an american child if you are so care; why leave it to Anjelina. Angelinina herself states that she likes waking up and finding her family from around the world. Who are you to judge her.

Andrómeda @ 03/14/2007 at 7:49 am

Congratulations to Angie and Brad!!!.

I believed this would happen next month or in may, this is soon…and exciting, a new child for the family…

hmmmm… i don’t know why these vietanamese official is feeding the vulture media, who is more interested in angelina’s adoptions and give more coverage than here going to darfur. of course, the media only care for scandals, they’re for her ( angie) to make a wrong move and then prey on her. just like the predators infesting the B/ A thread. i was thinking, tht the official are promoting vietnamese orphanage or basically to make his name famous, maybe he wants to be an actor…lol…just kidding. seriously though, it makes me wonder, it reminds about mr. voight, when she adopted maddox, her dad did a press conference for tht, if i am right. those matter shld be dealt privately, and coming from an official? anyway, i hope everything goes smoothly and u can see the same stupid rants w/ the same beast changing its monikers. my advise take some human vitamins, so u will be free of ur beastly-self ( haters)

think positive! @ 03/14/2007 at 7:57 am

The Jolie-Pitt’s started the process of this adoption shortly after Shiloh was born slowly but surely. Witch means that it has started on late May early June. So the whole process took 10 whole months to be finalized. Almost a whole year. They most likely decided the country back then but they where still on search about the orphanage the age and the sex of the child they will adopt. The process would have taken more months to be completed but as the Vietnamese officials have said the process is more quick because the adoptive child was identified and his files where completed before they decided to adopt him so the paper work would be faster. And all that is according to the Vietnamese adoption laws. That is all the information we have.

Just because some people might have problems adopting aboard don’t blame everything on the Jolie-Pitts. Each country has their own unique laws that you are required to follow and of course it depends on the agency you are using. If some of you didn’t make the right choice or the laws are too harsh it’s your problem not theirs. Just quite projecting your situation with theirs. This thing has nothing to do with you. And instead of coming here to complain about it you better try and find a solution to any problem you may have or ask for advice.

Currently it’s 7.47 pm in Ho Chi Minh City right now. So Angie might be already there or she is on her way there. I bet she will be needed to stay until weekend. I hope we will not see any pictures until the child is home already.

Let’s just welcome the new Jolie-Pitt!!!!!

Does this woman not realise how many children there are in the U.S. who also need to be adopted? Or is she just so hell-bent on having a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural family that she is going to continue to ignore the children in her own country who have nothing and no one?

BEYOTCH……Dont you realise how many children there are in the U.S. who need to be adopted? Or are you just so hell-bent on bitchng and moaning about other people that you are going to continue to ignore the children in your own country who have nothing and no one?

Bite me, here we go. I’m entitled to my opinion, whether you like it or not.

IGNORED>>>

LONDON GIRL: The absolute horror. Can you imagine the nerve of them trying to provide a better life for an orphan? How dare they go outside the U.S. I mean, the U.S. children are the only ones worthy of adopting, right? That is what you are trying to say, right? The only thing you are correct about is your right to an opinion. Just don’t expect anyone to respect it. The only people that will have your back is your alter egos- you know, your constant name changes. Sounds like a fun way to spend the afternoon- FREAK! Anyway, congrats to Brangelina!!!

to Londongirl and people like her,

Tear down the borders in your heart and mind. Feel free!

All the children on this earth need to be loved and taken care of. There should not be a nationality and relation borders for who decides to adopt.

On the other hand which is my own opinion, the conditions of the orphanages might be better in America than some other countries.

Secondly, if you really do concern about the kids who are in the orphanages in America, you go and adopt from there before lecturing the others. You just judge and lecture, that’s all.

Hi Hanna,

I am fine, thanks for asking, and you?

The weather is great here, spring already!

Take care

So which publication is correct? The paper that Jared is quoting is unoffical. But the one prez posted is from the same offical who has been giving information all along. He says that Angelina will not get the three year old until the end of the month or beg of April. Until further notice from Mr Long, I’m going with the end of March.

About fast tracking this adoption. There is no information that Angelina has requested in “fast tracking” so you can’t blame her for what the gov’t officals are doing.

can i adopt you london girl?feed you to my horse!horse!ooopppssss.

Jessica Simpson is doing her best Angelina Jolie by confessing that she wants babies – she just doesn’t want to make one herself, yet.

So what’s getting Jessica in the mothering mood? Her dogs, at least according to the New York Post’s Cindy Adams. But the pop princess, whose been cavorting all over America with boyfriend John Mayer, isn’t quite ready to pump out little Jesses. She’s going to get herself, as Adams puts it so delicately, “another designer kid.’

ANGIE IS THE INSPIRATION FOR ALL WOMEN IN THE WORLD

Congrats BAMZS+1.

I am happy that another child has found love, a happy home, and another and sisters.

I just hope the paps isn’t all over the city to cause trouble, like they always do!

Isabelle II @ 03/14/2007 at 8:21 am

Anyone that thinks orphans in this country don’t have a better chance of survival than those in 3rd word countries is an idiot!!!

Alexanderina @ 03/14/2007 at 8:29 am

Thanks Jared for the new thread. I am so happy for this family, congrats to the Jolie-Pitts, this is great

#8 –you sound sour as can be.
Jolie started the process right after Shiloh was born - it’s almost approaching a year of processing.
