Jolie To Arrive in Vietnam Tonight

If all goes according to plan, officials say Angelina Jolie could bring her newly adopted child home from Vietnam by the weekend.

Angelina is expected to arrive in Vietnam late Wednesday night and attend an adoption ceremony with Vietnamese officials on Thursday morning.

The 3-and-a-half-year-old boy Angelina is expected to adopt has been living at the Tam Binh orphanage (pictured) on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.

=========So what your saying here is that you’re no ones fan and just like to go around starting s h i t everywhere, asshat

greetings from Holland,

God Bless to Brad and Angelina for the new upcoming child, i cry for this boy, that finally he has a parents that i am sure take care of him and surely gives alot of love, i know EVERY child is bless, i can not imagine when he say goodbye to other children on that orphan, and in the car he’s waving to them OMG.

to mediterranean, hi, i am fine, a bit sentimental about this threads, i am happy and sad to this boy,

And as far as mass adoptions go–don’t forget Mia Farrow. Did she not adopt 9 or 10 kids and several were special needs?

Now the real lou, you know the double standard only comes into play when Angie is involved and the child isn’t blond and blue eyed.

It’s is killing these bigots to know there are people out their that can love a child no matter what their race is. A child is a child but some just can’t grasp that!

If I hadn’t been slogging around in a kind of slow-motion gelatinous London membrane yesterday, I would have posted Stu Van Airsdale’s early-bird Reeler posting about some of the ‘07 Tribeca Film Festival selections. such as: (a) Angelina Jolie’s A Moment in the World, a documentary that’s most likely about her U.N.-sponsored humanitarian efforts (and is apparently her behind-the-camera debut); (b) Lucky You, the trouble-plagued, endlessly delayed Curtis Hanson gambling movie with Eric Bana, Drew Barrymore and Robert Duvall; (c) Spider-Man 3…please; and (d) the feature directing debut of Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst

yes, some of her kids have special needs.

Marie Osmond interview w/Larry @ 03/14/2007 at 10:13 am

Marie Osmond interview with Larry King

KING: How many are adopted?

M. OSMOND: I don’t remember.

KING: Is it true, once they’re there, you don’t remember — it’s not remembering, you don’t even think about it?

M. OSMOND: There’s — really, there’s no difference. I can tell you that honestly, because I’ve had children of my own and I’ve had children that are adopted. And I don’t even think about it.

I am beginning to think that may be the problem some are having with Jolie-Pitt adoptions is that because of the different races they are adopting. Prejudice? May be. I hope I am wrong about that. The different races of the children make this family more beautiful. They are like the flowers of one big beautiful garden. Can you imagine a garden with only one color flowers in it? Unity in diversity! Flowers of one garden! Leaves of one tree! That’s how it should be. MANKIND IS ONE AND HUMANKIND IS ONE FAMILY.

Good Morning BAMZS+1 fans. I am so excited to see the new addition to this gorgeous family.

Amaya-do you have a new video that I haven’t seen? Or is it one of the older ones. BTW- any new pics of Jammy?

Hiya tijen—how are you, when are you guys leaving for spring break?

PreggyJolie made another video, from Brad to Angie, the lyrics and the pics are great…

The adoption procedure takes no more than four months, says Nguyen Cong Khanh, the deputy head of the country’s International Adoption Department.

And the A-list actress won’t be given any preferential treatment.

“[Jolie] will have to follow procedure like any other American,” Vu Duc Long, head of the Ministry of Justice for Vietnam, tells Us.

Still, it’s not out of the ordinary to speed up the adoption process when celebs are involved, à la Madonna’s scandal with baby David Banda in October.

And there may be an added incentive to rush things along.

“She promised to give $2 million to the Tam Binh orphanage on the very day she receives the child,” a Vietnamese insider tells Us. Of note: The actual adoption fee is only about $125.
_____________________________________________________________________

Jolie promised to give 2 million dollars to the orphanage when she picks him up. Yes it’s all good, however, it is highly unfair to other potential adoptive parents and that’s the bottom line.

Regarding the talk about Sharon Stone, Spielberg etc and their adoptions - yes they adopted. But they did it out of the spotlight and don’t announce their every move to the media of where their going and when. Jolie appears to be addicted to the spotlight and can’t seem to make a move without announcing everything. I think it’s a good thing to adopt however you look at it but with Jolie…She appears to be incredibly insecure and has a need to try to get rid of that insecurity with things outside herself. Her UN visits are the same. THere are many UNHCR ambassadors who don’t crave the spotlight like Jolie - anyone who is there knows that Jolie simply shows up in a foreign country for the UN and gets photographed for a couple days and then goes back to her 5 star hotel, 5 nannies and goes back to her millions and SUV’s. I know when no one is around to take their picture - like when they were in Paris, they don’t like it and will alert the media as to their whereabouts. Pitt and Jolie purposely made a ruckus to get noticed in a restaurant in Paris, as they had gone unnoticed - they simply had no photographers around and were not enjoying life without the cameras around. Sure enough, photographers showed up just as they were leaving the restaurant to snap their picture.

Does this woman not realise how many children there are in the U.S. who also need to be adopted? Or is she just so hell-bent on having a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural family that she is going to continue to ignore the children in her own country who have nothing and no one?

It could be as simple as that she loves Asian babies. They will be American becasue they will most likely be raised in the US.

OMG, I’m so excited for the family! :) :) :)

Thanks for the SStone info re no surrogacy. I am happy for her and her kids because she loves her kids and is a good mom. Diane Keaton has also adopted two children, in her fifties no less, and is happy to have done so.

Adoption is about wanting children and opening your heart to children regardless of the who or the what or the where of the children. It is upsetting to see that biased idiots single out Z for the most noxious comments-she doesn’t smile, she is not happy, she is autistic, she is ugly, and on and on, based solely on her ethnicity, with no personal knowledge as to this child. Also they now are more critical of Maddox as he grows older. Pure prejudice because they are children of color.

Angelina and Brad are not done with adopting or with having biological children. Four is not a big family, 6-7 children are a big family. LOL. Most importantly they are not letting the boobirds/detractors make decisions for them, they know what they want to do and are doing it. Good for them.

Guli-

Good Morning We’re leaving on Sunday March 25th. I can’t wait!
I understand you’re leaving for Turkey on April 8th. That’s Aron’s 18th birthday ( Aries). This place won’t be the same without you. I hope you can continue to post from Bodrum.

You are an idiot with capital I. Know what an idiot does, they quote from unreliable tabloids who make up news. what you just quote was from US Magazine. For goodness sake, at least name your source. If you believe US Magazine, then Shiloh should have been a BOY … too bad they bet on the wrong sex.

simple suggestion - learn to distinguish between FACT and FICTION

I feel sorry for you, so full of hate. I hope you find somebody that will give you some much needed love and will help you get over whatever torments you (that goes for all of your personas) God bless you and remember there are always much better ways to get some attention.

I think their 5th child will be a bio one!

I like the pic of Brad and Angie both in black. Does anyone know where that was taken? They are such a goodlooking couple!

Interesting @ 03/14/2007 at 10:34 am

It is amazing how hate and jealousy can shape peoples opinions. Stone and Speilberg did not have the paps following their every move when they adopted. In fact you can’t compare Brad and Angie in terms of fame/spotlight to those individuals. Why would use information from a TABLOID (ex 2 million rumor) and base your opinion on that. Is US weekly 100% the truth. You are truly an *******, UN Goodwill peeps are suppose to bring the spotlight with them wherever they go. Did Aniston alert the media when she travels or when she landed at lax or had her birthday party? Why the double standard? Jealousy is a *****. You are just pissed of that Brad and Angie are living the life, that a certain someone CLAIMED they wanted & and it seems still has not gotten.

Brain McKnight song was perfect to get the point across.

Medi- I’ve got tears too. This is so wonderful. Vietnam will certainly get the same boosr Ethiopia got in adoptions.

Guli- are you going to B&N today?

** Is this the child they are adopting? This child is only about
1 1/2-2 but wonder if it’s him.

Tijen, I hope you guys have a wonderful time!!! OMG- Aron is going to 18, well Rana is going to turn 16 in October. I still think we should try a cyber-matchmaking  I just talked to Dad he said it was like spring in Ankara, but now it’s snowing!!! I can’t wait to get to Bodrum, I am really hoping I can hook up with TP, she is going to be in Kusadasi in July, I think that would be a hoot, since she is so close in age to my sons, they’ll have ball. Now Donny is pretty good in Turkish since he took so many classes at OSU, so he can be their transilator

Hiya Susie, have you heard from Coal?
