Jolie To Arrive in Vietnam Tonight
If all goes according to plan, officials say Angelina Jolie could bring her newly adopted child home from Vietnam by the weekend.
Angelina is expected to arrive in Vietnam late Wednesday night and attend an adoption ceremony with Vietnamese officials on Thursday morning.
The 3-and-a-half-year-old boy Angelina is expected to adopt has been living at the Tam Binh orphanage (pictured) on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.

Go run along and share your fountain of intelligence at a MENSA meeting. It seems we are just to simple here to appreciate whatever it is you are trying to get across. It would be totally fine with me if Brad and Angie did not have any more biological children. I think adoption is great. Heck, I am beginning to think may be I should adopt since my only one is going off to college next year, but I am probably too old. Really, people who are adoptive parents repeatedly say that there is absolutely no difference between their biological children and the adopted ones. God puts the love in your heart. And what great rewards are waiting for those parents in the next world!
However, Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Tam Binh Orphan Centre, rejected the information. “Our goal is to seek a safe home for the child. JOLIE HAS NOT PROMISED TO GIVE ANYTHING TO THE CENTRE,” he affirmed.

Angelina has gone through adoption THREE TIMES. She used a Vietnam government approved orphanage and BEGAN THE PROCESS SHORTLY AFTER SHILOH WAS BORN, 10 MONTHS AGO. THE NEWS ABOUT THIS ADOPTION HAS BEEN COMING FROM VIETNAM, NOT ANGELINA OR BRAD. This is the truth, not your version of events.
Angelina and Brad do not seek attention. You just will not acknowledge that they are like magnets, attention is focused on them no matter what they do. They do not go out to nightclubs parading for the paps, they are pictured doing ordinary things in their private life for the most part. They do not call the paps in advance at any time, they have no need to, paps will go to any length they can to capture any sightings possible of the Jolie-Pitts. Their pictures are sought after because they are fascinating to many people in the world, for a variety of reasons, and those pixs are money in the bank. You have a problem with them, maybe jealously, whatever, it’s your problem, not theirs. They are happily living their lives together.

Because she and others like her are obsessed. It kills them to see any type of praise for these two so they go from blog to blog spreading their hate. Yet they will go on and on about the “loonies” here at JustJared. They can quote every Brad and Angelina interview verbatim yet they still have the nerve to call people here obsessed. And they are so dumb that they don’t even see the irony in that.

jcash, why would you assume that brad and angelina call the press or alert the press? i’m sure she would much rather bring her son home in peace and absorb him into her family without all of the intrusion. as to her spotlighting her work in the u.n. capacity, she is drawing attention to areas of need, i believe that is the whole point of celebrity involvement, to bring the attention they garner. audrey hepburn did that very sort of thing. you shouldn’t be so suspicious of the motives of others or is it just angelina you have a problem with?

NOW, these are the FACTS, as they pertain to this adoption. Angelina Jolie, started her ADOPTION PROCESS 3 WEEKS AFTER SHILOH WAS BORN. That is Mid June of 2006, for those who can do math. It has NEITHER been an excessive OR a more brief period of time - it is the AVERAGE for ANY overseas couple trying to adopt from Viet Nam.
The only way in which Angelina and Brad have advantages is that they are wealthy - which means they can charter private planes, to appear in person, and to fly back a LOT quicker than perhaps your average middle income family would be able to do, or not (it depends on their priorities and how much assistance and money they’ve saved to manuever through the adoption process.

VietNamNet Bridge - Hollywood star Angelina Jolie may come to HCM City tonight, March 14 or 2am of March 15 to receive her adopted child, said Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre.
However, Mr Trung didn’t confirm the time because Jolie’s schedule can change.
He revealed that the boy who Jolie wants to adopt is very healthy and he likes playing football. His parents abandoned him at HCM City’s Tu Du Obstetric Hospital and the Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre has brought him up since 2003.
One thing that Mr Trung affirmed is after receiving the boy, Jolie will return to Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre to meet with children there.
According to an anonymous source, the Hollywood actress requested related agencies to not release any information about the adopted child till all formalities are complete. Jolie is afraid that if everything doesn’t go smoothly, the child will be affected.
Mr Trung said that since 1990 nearly 600 children in Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre have been adopted by foreigners. Two thirds of the adoptive parents are French. However, the number of American adopting children in Tam Binh is increasing.
