Aussie actress Cate Blanchett and hubby director Andrew Upton arrive at the Australian premiere of the new play “The Nightwatchman” on Wednesday night in Sydney, Australia.

Even Cate’s casual clothes look like artwork!

“The Nightwatchman” by playwright Daniel Keene debuted with the Griffin Theatre Company at The SBW Stables Theatre.

They are about equal in the looks department. Her head is too big for her body and him well what can I say….but looks aren’t everything and at least he looks as if he eats his head is in proportion.

I think they are adorable…they are both so intelligent, and Cate is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. They have been married like 10 or 11 years, and that is so rare in Hollywood…I give them so much credit. And, Caye and Brad are good friends, and he has also said that he loves working with h er, she is beautiful etc. so it’s a mutual admiration there nothing else.

Yes I have to agree with Lilly. They are both EXTREMELY intelligent and very talented artists. So what that Andrew is not exactly “Brad” in looks? He definitely makes up in mind and humor according to Cate. I have a ton more faith that their marriage will last than any of the poster Hollywood couples that are out now. I think it’s so cool that she has found that person that inspires her and can match her intelligence. I respect her even more for that. Cate is exquisite and more celebrities could benefit from her facilities as an actress along with her brilliant personality off-camera.

This couple is a breath of fresh air from your standard celebrity couples. They’ve actually done very well over a decade of marriage and seem to be the best of friends. Andrew may not be the best looking guy, but I’ve seen a couple of interviews with him. He’s smart, sensitive and really pleasant… easy to like, IMO.
