New Cute Guy on The Hill
No, not MTV’s The Hills. We’re talking Capitol Hill!
Chris Klein makes his “lobbying” debut at a congressional hearing about arts eduction on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., on Tuesday.
The American Pie star testified on the importance of restoring arts funding in public schools at a hearing before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the Interior. Chris is seeking $176 million for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Chris revealed that arts programs at his Omaha high school led to his discovery and his movie debut in 1999’s Election co-starring Reese Witherspoon.
“Reese was amazing,” said Chris. “She gave me a full education on what it was going to take to make it in the business.”

Thanks Jared for the thread. I am glad he speaks up for the importance of funding art education programs in public schools. It’s better to invest money in education than in making bombs.
In between getting himself arrested wtith a .20 blood alcohol level, and getting hickies from various women, it’s nice to see hime TRY and act like an adult!
