I see nothing wrong with anyone, celebrity or otherwise, dressing however they choose when they are in their downtime. It is ‘there’ time to be comfortable and at ease. When I am at work, my employer has every right to accept or object to not only my work ethic and punctuality, but my appearance as well. The same holds true for Clay, or any other celebrity. When Clay is ‘working’ he is always very meticulous and professional and gives the audience 110%, whether it is for entertainment or for humanitarian purposes. Hawt, sexy, attractive, whatever is in the eye of the beholder; however, the individual should be allowed to be himself when he is in ‘downtime’.

He is no long scrawny , but has filled out quite nicely (and in all the right places) .
Clay has a way of singing so that it makes you feel like you are the only person he is singing to ! Clay was born to entertain on stage. Not only does he have the pipes but he is now a comedian and has his audiance rolling in the isles and wanting more .
People , like yourself who thought of him as you do , were pleasantly surprised at just how very much of a well-rounded person and consumate entertainer he has become !!!!!!!

I sat next to Aiken once on a plane - he was dressed a lot like this, but no beard. A lot better looking in person & a super nice guy. We had a great conversation about music & politics. Then he read for a while & fell asleep. Thank God he didn’t snore or my opinion may have changed about the pleasant experience - ha!
Reminds me of David Bowie. When he is dressed up he is absolutely gorgeous. When he is dressed down he sometimes looks like a homeless person. I love them both!

Clay Aiken who is a fabulous singer, and very sexy-looking always looks great in my book. I personally don’t like beards, but he probably is returning home from doing a concert, ;he is also a great person so anything he does is fine with me. Move on to someone else, all you Clay haters who seem to spend so much of their time keeping up with what Clay does.
I’ve seen him look MUCH better, but who cares. I KNOW he’s good looking! The guy sings circles around everyone else, and doesn’t care a twit about how people want him to dress. Super personality too, and on stage, he has NO match.
Now, there’s a man with confidence! Love it. He’ll shave when it matters. Looks like my man on his down time. Give it a rest. The man is talented. Go Clay!
First of all, it has NOT been a while since Clay put out a cd- his lastest came out just last Sept. Second, can’t a guy get a little lazy before having a very busy spring and summer. He may be in LA just to visit some friends. Most men hate to shave (my husband is one!!!) and Clay is taking advantage of some ‘down time’. He will be traveling for UNICEF, soon, and then rehearsals for his big summer tour-with symphony orchestras, no less. So be gentle on this terrific person. And, whomever said ‘all’ Clay’s fans are ‘overweight and older’—go to one of his concerts- you will see people of both sexes, young, old, inbetween, thin, medium, heavy- you name it . Clay has the most diverse fanbase of any celeb out there- and besides, the more fans = more money in the bank!!!! I bet 100 percent of the celebs out there would give their eyeteeth to have just 10 percent of the fanbase Clay has! (Huh, Ruben?? You agree??)

You obviously had not see when he was on Jimmy Kimmel and two 20 something girls had his signature tatooed on their backs!!! Whether you want to admitt it or not , the true fact is that Clay has fans of all ages go to his concerts. Clay is bridging the generation gap NOT dividing it as so many singers are nowadays. That to me is always a good thing to see familys go TOGETHER to his concerts.
It is ok if he is not to your liking but please refrain from speaking of things you do not know about . I have been to many of his concerts and I have seen all ages and all walks of life in attendance !
It amazes me how people can make the comments they do without even checking out the facts! If Clay was not the upstanding person he is , he would not have his BUBEL/AIKEN foundation , he would not be UNICEF AMBASSADOR , nor would he have been appointed by President Bush to a special committe for people with intelectual difficulties.
Oh and by the way too, God is brought into the discussion simply because Clay is a devote Christain and walks by faith , not by sight . As he stated on Larry King , he is guided not as much by what he himself wants to do but as God would have him do and the path that God has him on !! Clay walks the talk of his faith and is God’s love in action !!

Nobody’s noticed those hunky legs?? Used to be stick thin, but to me they’re lookin good these days, lol!! I’m with the beard/no beard, hat/no hat, glasses/no glasses, any way at all is fine with me… nice he’s carrying the doggies, too — but his concerts not til Aug, whatcha doin here now, Clay???? (Um, peewee? Clay’s 6′1″!)
Clay is looking SEXIER than ever!!!! He is smoking HOT since he gained weight, filled out to perfection! As for the choice of clothes, love them. The glasses, love them, the from behind shot of him getting into the car, LOVE it.
To the haters; Clay is beautiful inside and out,not everyone can be so close to perfect, no need to be jealous!!!
Funny that most people saw this picture and just didn’t “get it” that he was going on a Unicef trip in April. Does it not occur to people that “sometimes” when a “very pasty white man” shows up in a 3rd world country he would stand out like a sore thumb? What better “help” than to at least try to have a dark beard and long dark hair to blend in as well as possible? It takes a while to grow a decent beard, so obviously he had to get a good head start for it to be ready by April. Shame these crazy people who hate a young singer have to always try to put a spin on things. Every guy I know dresses like he is doing when they are in their down time. Well, at least the under 30 crowd does, which I do believe he still fits into. I must say he doesn’t look near as bad as the pictures that have shown up in tabloids of other celebrities in their down time, with horrible looking clothes, no makeup, terrible hairstyles, etc. How do you look when out running errands or flying across country? Personally I usually wear sweats or something just like he did when traveling in a plane for hours.
