Introducing… Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt

New reports from Vietnam are coming in that Angelina Jolie has renamed her 3-year-old adopted son from Pham Quang Sang to PAX THIEN JOLIE (soon to be PAX THIEN JOLIE-PITT).

In Latin, “PAX” means “peace.” In Vietnamese, “THIEN” means “sky.” The coolness factor pretty much matches up with the rest of the pack: Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh. PAX. THIEN. JOLIE. PITT.

But it has been confirmed that Angelina has completed procedures with Vietnamese authorities to adopt. Just one more hoop to jump through: U.S. consular and embassy officials must give approval.

In short… Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will soon have four children: 5-year-old son Maddox adopted from Cambodia, 3-year-old son Pax adopted from Vietnam, 2-year-old daughter Zahara adopted from Ethiopia and 10-month old daughter Shiloh, who was born to the couple in May 2006.

No, it wasn’t on. In past years, it has been on the Wednesday prior to the NCAA tournament, but not this year.

Re the name change –

For all we know, Pax’s name change might be official but not used for every day right now. Or maybe they’ll ease him into it, and start by using Pax and Sang interchangeably. He’s got a new family now, which he will forever be a part of. With that, does come a new identity.

However, for all we know, the JPs might still refer to him as Sang. ‘Sang’ might just become his nickname, or his ‘unofficial’ first name - one that he uses most often - while on his passport and official docs he will be Pax Thien Jolie Pitt. Just like Brad’s birth certificate reads ‘William Bradley Pitt’ - but he doesn’t go by William. Pax Thien Jolie Pitt might not go by Pax, either. It’s a wait and see kind of deal.

I just realized something….Angie has had two significant others named William. LOL

Izzie, I belive after last weeks show they said the next NEW episode of Survivor will be on Wednesday, March 21st. So you’re good, and even if you watch American Idol it doesn’t come on until 9PM so you can still catch both.

It’s going to be a crazy week next week in our house because we are totally hooked on American Idol and Survivor and also Dancing with the Stars which starts next week too. Luckily Rob & Amber got voted off Amazing Race last week so we have our Sunday nights free again.

What the haters are probably grousing about is the fact that this child and all the Jolie-Pitt children are all going to be millionaires when the time comes. It’s like hitting the lottery when you become adapted not only by the J-P’s but by every rich celeb or non-celeb there is.

These kids will get all the perks and privileges that come with the territory while their kids will be moaning about the unfairness of it all. They will be asking how come they were born with parents who do nothing but moan and b..tch about their lot in life instead of going out there and trying to make something out of themselves.

Too many kids, yes…for you haters who can’t afford it. For the J-P’s it’s fine…there’s still plenty to go around! And that’s what’s got your spleens exploding with hate and envy!!

I don’t understand why people are so critical of AJ? The name thing is a personal choice and I’m sure they’ve thought it out thoroughly.

My sister (and the rest of us kids) thought her name was Sandy until they started calling her by real name in Kindergarten. I know of other kids where this happens as well where a child uses a nickname for the first few years then gets a ‘new’ name when they start school. Unless the child has been horribly traumatized in the past, he’ll do fine. Kids are very adaptable. A lot more than adults and lot more than we give them credit for.

And what’s up with the concern over Shiloh and her being surrounded by the United Nations? You HATERS can’t understand why a couple capbable of making blond haired, blue-eyed children would want to parent children of color. That just shows you how much the Jolie-Pitts (and a lot of other families) are above YOU. All of the Jolie kids are beautiful and well loved. A white child with blonde hair and blue eyes isn’t any more valuable and lovable than Asian, African, and Indian children. If you think so keep your Aryan, Nazi superiority complex to yourselves.

I hope they adopt a lot more children of color.
