Kirsten Dunst picked up ShoWest Female Star of the Year last night at the closing night ceremony of the five-day ShoWest festival in Las Vegas. Is she your female star of the year? She’s certainly not mine…
Kirsten spoke out about Spider-Man at ShoWest: “I really have evolved as an actress and as a person from 1 to 3, so for me, the role [of Mary Jane] has grown with me. She’s always a woman searching and she’s always been someone that at that time of my life I could relate to. In this film, because we’re older and the relationships are deeper than we’ve seen in the last two, it’s only made all of our roles so much more meaningful to all of us. We never rest on our laurels with these films, we always try to make it better, and I think it’ll really show in this third one.”
“Where is this being fed to?” Kirsten asked. “The Internet? Great.”

Didn’t Aniston win this in 2005 and 2 years later Dunst wins it.
Now let me see they both OK at acting but star of the year is pushing it.

There is always an award ready for every recipient willing to promote the giver.
Apart from the Oscars, the Golden Globes and the SAGs, all the other Amercan acting awards are mere publicity stunts.
She, along with Maggie G., is mine! I think she’s great and hopefully she’ll be able to proof it to ya’ll in the years to come. The Blondie epic will be great!

STEPHEN HUVANE WRANGLED this AWARD *UNDESERVEDLY* for MANISTON in 2005, and again for DUNST in 2007, they are BOTH his CLIENTS. He even SUES BLOGGERS like PEREZ for them, and TROLLS the net SEEKING JUSTICE & REDRESS, Bahahaha! I wouldn’t be surprised if to see PALTROW (another HUVANE client) at the Showest event this year, picking up some HUVANE PAID FOR AWARD she’s another BORING UNPOPULAR client of his, WHO STUCK her FOOT in it w/ MORE of HER ANTI-AMERICAN B.S. and CAN’T get ARRESTED like DUNST! The female star of the year SHOULD BE somebody like Cate Blanchett…but this is a throwaway award for publicity seekers for the most part…occasionally they might get it right, where it makes sense — but all too often, the PR MONSTERS BUY this CR*P for their clients.

I have always liked Kirsten because she always looks healthy. Unfortunately, as of late, the pics that I’ve seen of her including these, she looks anorexic and washed out. She really should have a burger,fries, and a shake and get a sunless tan.

She was the star of one film this past year and it was universally acknolwedged as one of the worst films of the year. As for awards show the Golden Globes are crap also any group that nominated King Kong as a candidate for picture of the year cannot be taken seriously.

I disagree that Paltrow must be ‘anti-American’ just for saying the English are more polite than Americans. Trust me I ‘m English and I know better, but still. It’s a bit OTT to call her Anti-US just for expressing a casual opinion, Cliniqua.
