OlderPax Thien Jolie’s Passport Photo
This is the passport photo of Angelina Jolie’s newly adopted 3-year-old son Pax Thien Jolie (born Truong Quang Sang) that was attached to the passport application filed at the immigration office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Friday. The very first photos of Pax were posted here.
Angelina and Pax (along with Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh) will fly home to Los Angeles after Pax’s passport and visa have been finalized.
Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reports that when Angelina and Pax first met, she quickly embraced him and told him in Vietnamese “Khong sao dau, khong sao dau” (No problem, no problem) and immediately started playing with him.
Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reports that Pax can count from 1 to 10 in English and his favorite foods include fried noodles and yogurt.
The adoption agency that Angelina used issued the following response to clear up rumors regarding Pax’s adoption.
“In applying to adopt 3-yr-old Pax Thien, Ms. Jolie followed the same course as all prospective adoptive parents who apply to our Vietnam program. Throughout her adoption process, which began in the summer of 2006, she has received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart, and contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast tracked.
Despite rumors that she chose her child, Ms. Jolie received a referral, just like any other parent adopting from Vietnam. In late 2006, she was referred a child who had been legally determined to be available for adoption and who fit within the parameters for which she had been approved to adopt. She accepted the first and only referral given to her.
In addition, we can confirm the statement given by Nguyen Van Trung, Director of Tam Binh Orphanage, that Ms. Jolie has neither made, nor promised to make, any financial contributions to his orphanage. It really was a good idea bringing Maddox along. Smart thinking on their part. What better way to ease Pax into the family than bringing his big brother. Can you just see Maddox, waving the Paparazzis off and saying “Ahh, crazy people. Pay them no attention”
I hate to demean this thread by mentioning her name here but I hope this clears up any lingering questions Ms. Tatiana Beams International Adoption Extraordinaire, has about this adoption. It would be nice if she wrote an article correcting her mistake…but then again, that will mean it truly was a mistake.
Oh well, as long as the JPs are happ…the likes of her can go somewhere I won’t mention.
For those that think that the JP’s received preferential treatment I think it’s called ‘the propaganda machine’. Only the stupified would believe it. It’s sad and a shame that you can’t legislate against stupidity.
Thanks Jared. African Girl, ITA. I’m also thankful about yesterday and the news/entertainment shows that reported mostly positive on this news. I’m glad that there are people in the media that are beginning to see the real Angie and defend her on television. It’s also good to know that some people (eg Scarborough, Ted C.) can put aside their biases and see the truth.

I’m so happy for them, Brad must be go crazy waiting for them to get home! My head is spinning with all this wonderful news and so many threads, this one is still short so I might have a chance to catch up.
I noticed that Angelina is at ease in learning new languages. Good for her. There are people that can convey easily in any tongues. It only means one thing…Angelina is very tolerant person & accepting of people of different backgrounds.
I so glad! Love them. Hopefully a safe return for the group. You never know maybe Brad will be on his way this weekend & all will come back together.

At home, they got their first soccer teams for a practice. “Boys” and “Girls”, Shiloh will be goalkeeper for the girls!
Most probably, next adoption will be an African girl. Then, dad Brad might start praying to have a bio son to keep his team equal with mom’s team.
Maddox must be very happy to have a brother now. There is another target for Shiloh for a cookie; maybe Zahara might eat her cookie in peace now.

Wow! Pax looks like Maddox! Maddox is going to be such a wonderful brother. Yep, they are close to having their own dominant soccer team. They can probably kick Beckham’s butt now!:) hahaha
Just imagine,
After 15 years all the children of the Jolie-Pitts would start speaking English, their own mother tongue and probably French.
When they talk, argue, discuss something with each other, you hear English and French. When they say bad words to each other, they will use the mother tongue, not to let other understand what they just say.
God help Angie and Brad, their home will be colourful, loud and surely fun.

Pax is a lucky kid..He is blessed to be with the Jolie-Pitt’s for the rest of his life.

I’m just curious. Why did they say that Brad couldn’t make it because he was under contract to work when there was no Benjamin Button shoot on Wednesday and yesterday(and as far as I know, there’s no shoot today)? He was photographed coming out of Scott brothers’ office where he spent an hour or two yesterday. That could be considered as work but certainly something he could get out of.
