OlderPax Thien Jolie’s Adoption Papers
Here are the adoptions papers that Angelina Jolie filed with authorities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in order to gain custody of 3-year-old son Pax Thien Jolie. The adoption agency Angelina used also issued this statement following the adoption of Pax.
Bui Thi Bich Tuyen, a nurse from Tam Binh Orphanage where Angelina adopted Pax said staff there didn’t realize she and Brad Pitt were celebrities when they first visited last year during Thanksgiving — Angelina shared crayons and drew pictures with the kids.
Said Tuyen, “They looked very much like ordinary people. We thought that they were just an ordinary couple that wanted to play with the kids and give them presents. They brought lots of toys. We could already see that she had a heart for children.”

“In applying to adopt 3-yr-old Pax Thien, Ms. Jolie followed the same course as all prospective adoptive parents who apply to our Vietnam program. Throughout her adoption process, which began in the summer of 2006, she has received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart, and contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast tracked.
Despite rumors that she chose her child, Ms. Jolie received a referral, just like any other parent adopting from Vietnam. In late 2006, she was referred a child who had been legally determined to be available for adoption and who fit within the parameters for which she had been approved to adopt. She accepted the first and only referral given to her.
In addition, we can confirm the statement given by Nguyen Van Trung, Director of Tam Binh Orphanage, that Ms. Jolie has neither made, nor promised to make, any financial contributions to his orphanage. Adoptions From The Heart celebrates the miracle of adoption with the Jolie-Pitt family, as we do with all of our clients, and wish them much joy.”

Totally.
It is so disconcerting to see these documents being paraded to the public. I really do not understand how and why these confidential informations are being leaked. At TMZ, they also got a copy of Angelina’s passport, which made me really upset…..
Congratulations to the Jolie-Pitt family. Pax will make a great brother to Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh. More good things will come to this family without a doubt…..
When are they coming home?

I know what you mean. And it’s not like Vietnam is held to the Freedom of Information Act either. This is getting tacky and very invasive.
Yeah, this is overkill. I am sure the JP’s do not appreciate this exposure. Especially when this info should be confidential. Pictures are fine. But Visas/documentation. Naaahh…. I’ll be posting in the other threads.
Info was released by the director of the orphanage.

It already is. While the Pax pics made me uncomfortable, since the press is clearly trying to tell his story based on a few pics, posting passports and adoption papers seem really wrong. Angelina and Pax are entitled to privacy.
I thought it was cool to have a bunch of Angelina/Pax threads, but if the genesis of the threads are private documents, then it not so great. JMO…

I am sure money$ was involved. This is insane that the Vietnamese Orphanage is SELLING personal information of Angie to the media. It’s such intrusive, especially with adoption documents and passport. I agreed as and I am sure the Jolie-Pitt family don’t appreciate it. I wish there is a way where the Jolie-Pitt can put an end to this with the selling of their private personal information by orphanage?

THIS IS SO INTRUSIVE. Being a celebrity does not mean one’s private legal papers should be plastered on the internet for no reason. This is persona and private. For the rest of his life this little boy’s birth/adoption papers will be available to any Tom **** or Harry - enemies and friends. What’s become of our society?
I didn’t need to see this and any well-thinking person, no matter how much they admire Brad and Angie should agree that this is going too far. What is this thing of rushing to spread what isn’t even news. Printing celebrity babies’ birth certificate is not necessary. WHAT’S NEXT????!!!!
Already Angelina is apologizing publicly to her son for the intrusion into his life and the circus his life has become. My God…where are our feelings of decency and respect for one another???!!!We have to draw the line somewhere. I love BAMPSZ but I do not need to know every personal detail iof their lives. Even before their parents uncles and aunties see his papers, I have. Nothing is sacred anymore!
