Pax Thien Jolie’s Adoption Papers

“In applying to adopt 3-yr-old Pax Thien, Ms. Jolie followed the same course as all prospective adoptive parents who apply to our Vietnam program. Throughout her adoption process, which began in the summer of 2006, she has received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart, and contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast tracked.

Despite rumors that she chose her child, Ms. Jolie received a referral, just like any other parent adopting from Vietnam. In late 2006, she was referred a child who had been legally determined to be available for adoption and who fit within the parameters for which she had been approved to adopt. She accepted the first and only referral given to her.

In addition, we can confirm the statement given by Nguyen Van Trung, Director of Tam Binh Orphanage, that Ms. Jolie has neither made, nor promised to make, any financial contributions to his orphanage. Adoptions From The Heart celebrates the miracle of adoption with the Jolie-Pitt family, as we do with all of our clients, and wish them much joy.”

THIS IS SO INTRUSIVE. Being a celebrity does not mean one’s private legal papers should be plastered on the internet for no reason. This is persona and private. For the rest of his life this little boy’s birth/adoption papers will be available to any Tom **** or Harry - enemies and friends. What’s become of our society?

JJ can have a new thread every six hours because these idiots will not zip their lips and show some professionalism. Even if it is not a sealed document, there is no reason to feed the media frenzy. Keep it out of the public domain for a while and everyone will lose interest. They won’t even attempt to get a copy after a while. The Jolie-Pitts want to be as ordinary a family as possible and the media is making that impossible but making them so extra-ordinary.

There is nothing left for them to sell to the press, they alredy gave angelina’s passport, pax passport, the adoption papers, thank you note, the only thing left is the hotel bill!

The amount of money they get for selling these information is not worth the bad will the country will be getting for this scandalous act. The Vietnamese government should put on their thinking cap and put a stop to it.

I’m so ticked at the overwhelming greed and insanity of the media that I can’t stop typing. Even the so-called high-brow papers are getting into the frenzy of celebrity-chasing, because if they don’t they will be left behind in the maoney-making . They cannot stick to their original mission statement and organization profile. Oh no, everyone is lowering their standards in every area of life to keep up. What is the popular culture coming to?

You can’t say state your personal opinion about anything these days without adding “Not that there is anything wrong with it.” Even if you don’t believe it. You have to state it to prevent everyone else fron jumping down your theroat.

Who is going to stand up for ol-fashioned values? Not all our standards have to be lowered, lower than a snake’s belly. Some of us have to stand up for a few of the old-fashioned values our parents and grandparents taught us.
Give the Jolie-Pitts some privacy you all!! They are not circus monkeys. They need privacy too!!

PinkRose, I am with you and quite frustrated that The Vietnamese Officials are selling their private information. This is intrusive BIG TIME!!!! The Jolie-Pitt do not deserve this and more! Selling pictures is one thing, but go as far as selling their personal information is beyond low of the lowest. No decency or no professionalism. I surely, won’t trust to adop kids from there for sure! The Vietnamese Officials surely gives me every reason (s) not to adopt or visit. THAT’S JUST ME!!!! Thankyou Pink Rose for being a voice of sanity. I think I can safely say this board for the most part is pro-AJ. I aggree with you, I don’t need this information and I want the administration of this board to know that too. Last night I watched Showbiz Tonight, only after I saw a post on the other jj thread about Angie. AJ Hammer had two women on discussing Angie’s adoption. It seems AJ has had an emphany of sorts since last week. Well one of the women, I think she was from the Post was asked what she thought about Angie adopting the little boy from Vietanam? She didn’t have anything too negative to say about that, but her main concern was that they were adopting to close to the birth of Shiloh. It seems she feels that Shiloh will be left out and not get the amount of attention she deserves. I thought that was mighty white of her to be so concerned about Shiloh. The other woman didn’t have those concerns. She thought the adopting was a great idea, and that Angie intimidated people by doing what she wanted, living her life according to her and Brad’s design. She felt that people were jealous because she was not afraid to travel around the world alone, to do good again, according to what she felt etc, etc. And to adopt outside of the so call normal family. To redifine what a family was/is. Even AJ agreed with her. An emphany or a good talking to must have happened because he always rags on Angie. I think the Post woman felt rather stupid after she articulated her concerns, which are stupid if you think about them. Being concerned that a child will not get the attention he/she needs and that they were adopting too close to the birth of the bio child smacks of racism and phony self righteous concern. She was not concerned that Z would go lacking. Just Shiloh.. People never know how stupid they truly are until they open their mouths.

People, if Brad were going to cheat on Angie do you honestly think he would do it while she was away and with the whole world watching no less. Get over it. They are together, even if she is in Vietnam and he in LA. With the exception of the blabber mouth of Vietnam, these people keep their private life private. I can’t imagine that Brad would do anything to embarrass Angie. If could respect, the one who will remain nameless, he surely would not embarrass his babies mama. Peace.

I’ve been shocked at this total lack of confidentiality by the Vietnamese officials from the beginning, and at this point I feel that it’s just horrifying! It should be illegal for this type of information to be released. If these officials think that by being so accommodating to the foreign press, their country will be seen as a place to do business, and bring in more tourist dollars etc, then they couldn’t be more wrong. Much as I love reading about BAMPZS, this is truly too much of an invasion of their privacy. I can only hope that Angie’s people will be able to do something about the bigmouths involved in this case.

Rather than write letters to the Vietnamese Orphanage etc it would be better to do things in the same spirit as JPs. The important issues are that there are more children in this orphanage. The Director of this place is I’m sure a good guy as are the people who work there probably for very little money living a life that is culturally very different. Go easy on them. They were taking good care of a young boy who was lucky enough to be adopted by good hearted, loving, wealthy new parents. Those that are left behind do not have this they have the love of the workers. Please don’t say negative things about the people who work there. It is so easy to do that. JPs know how to take care of themselves, they are pretty intelligent. In the end it is all the people who are interested in their lives that create the need for photos and paps etc., as a result it’s not possible to pick and choose what you want to see. If there is interest there is a market. It’s just the way it is. I’m sure JPs would be very happy if letters of protest etc., were written to our governments to remind them of the attrocities that happen in the world that they (western governments) a lot of times have an indirect and direct hand in creating. These situations then create refugees and orphans. JPs I doubt would like us criticizing people who have little power themselves. If the JPs were concerned about the documents they would do something about it but it will be forgotten soon enough and won’t hurt them.

As a fan of Jolie-Pitt, I am frustrated to know that their personal information is floating on the internet. IMAGINE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FLOATING ON THE INTERNET! I think both the media and the Vietnamese Officials are at fault. The media will ALWAYS approach to purchase information, especially juicy information! If the Vietnamese Officials is professional and understand the confidentiality, they SHOULD know better to follow and stick being as a professional organization. Jolie Pitt there really is nothing personal except birth date on a passport. Somebody said it contained Angies home address, they don’t.

I think all this information may backfire for Vietnam. Who will want to adopt when they know their info can be bought for a few bucks? I’m just extremely happy this wonderful little person has the family he does. After this I have a feeling the Jolie Pitts will be out of sight for a good period of time!

why don’t we all e-mail jared and ask him to pull these threads, it’s really sad and not right. If anyone wants to jump down my throat, go for it, but imagine if this was your family.

Her interview has a strong “single parent” vibe. How the hell some of you are so sure that the girls are in L.A? reuters has them with their mother in vietnam, even they mention that their nanny and Holly are there too.

We can’t change what was said and why it was relesed by the officials in Vietnam or the Orphenage directors is an anamoly to me as well as to you. This week’s magazine talked about Jen may be moving to NY, which has a better scene for dating. That means, Jen is actively looking.

She is 38. I can understand why. Not many hollywood eligible bachelors are available. Those who are good probably dont want her because they knew about her badmouthing the ex. I wish she had not done that. Anyway, what’s done is done. Hope she can learn from her lesson.

I worry about her. She has 110M. I am afraid she may find a wrong man. Sometimes you never know, the guy may want her for her money. By moving to NY, Courtney wont be near by to help her. I dont think Jen is ready to stand up on her own. She had Brad to lean on all those years. Now, with Brad gone, she is relying on her girlfriends. By moving away, it might not be the best move.

Another theory, could it be Huvanne’s move? By sending Jen far away from her girl friends, he can manipulate Jen into this strategy or that strategy. Then when Jen is in trouble, he will be the one to help. Then he can generate billings and billings.

Her 110M is good for her. She can live without having to work. But it can also hurt her too. She needs to learn to use her brain, and not make the same mistake like she did while in her marriage. She should have recognized what she got and not lost it.

I have always wondered why Courtney never alert her on her mistakes, mistakes like never pay attention to her marriage etc.

I was wondering the same thing. I read on other sites that the girls were with Angelina in Vietnam while Brad remained in LA and I also read that they were with Brad. Although I do wonder what’s true and what’s not I don’t really think anything is wrong either way. Brad and Angelina seem fine and I think Brad stayed behind so as not to throw it in the face of the Vietnamese that he will most likely be adopting little Pax after he gets to the States. It would have been rude toward them for him to show up even though Angelina filed as a single parent, he and Angelina are just respecting the Vietnamese government. I think all the nonsense about Angelina changing Pax’s name, Brad not going to Vietnam, where the girls are, and so on and so forth is just that…nonsense. In a couple of weeks we’ll be oohhing and ahhhing over pictures of the Jolie-Pitts……all six of them…..together out and about.

Oh and screw all you people who are ragging on Jennifer Aniston. I like her and I think she has every right to live her life the way she wants to. Not everyone wants kids, thank you very much, and it’s totally understandable that she tried to keep her husband by promising to have kids even though she probably didn’t really want any. Why can’t all you “fans” and “haters” just let them all lead separate lives already?? You are the ones keeping this imaginary triangle alive!

it’s cool sheri. perhaps, our gov’t has little to do with it, considering i am giving the benefit of the doubt! BUT, I do feel strongly that the Vietnam Officials and the director of orphanage have lots to do with the release of the passport and adoption documents. Below are why I feel that the Vietnam Officials have lots to do:

1) The adoption paper is in Vietnam and only Vietnam Officials would have these papers as the US Gov’t don’t read in Viet to want to maintain the adoption papers in Viet. The US will only maitain adoption papers in English and I am sure they maintain the one in English.

2) I do agreed with a couple who mentioned that knowing Vietnam is a poor country and a few hundreds of dollars$ do make a huge difference in their lives, of course, I do feel that it gives them even more reason (s) to sell their personal information.

3) If you notice the director of orphanage on one of the pix carries a camera on one hand and the other holding PAX. This is a sign that the director knows that Angie is a superstar and he knows and understand the american media. He knows if he gets their pix he can sell for lots of doug$$. And to know that he can sell the juicy details of them (passport and adoption document), surely he knows he will make more$. Oh, otherwise, he would, at least, set up something so the razzi won’t get too close. If the director cares for the child safety and happy that angie is saving one child’s life, it should give him better reason (s) to show his professionalism within an agency. HE’S THE DIRECTOR and HE NEEDS TO THINK LONG TERMS BY SHOWING A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR HIS AGENCY!

I feel strongly about this and I will maintain with my beliefs!!!

They like to spit in the wind, I don’t know why. All they do is get wet.

They must like the feeling of crashing and burning and the smell of burnt flesh.

Forget the fact that Brad is contractually obligagted. Emphasis on contractually obligated. Meaning, that the studio could turn around and sue him for his upfront 25 million and all expenses accrued for him to just up and leave on a dime. Which he would have done. Oh and forget that both Brad and Angelina are known for being two of the most professional actors in the business and just don’t do that. Brad and Angellina don’t want the rep. of not being reliable. Can’t rely on them, if something comes up, they have no problem just bailing. None at all. Oh and they have no problem spending millions of dollars that aren’t theirs, to do what they want when they want and leave hundreds just hanging.

This adoption was tentatively thought to go through end of next month, WHEN Brad was finished shooting.

Oh and forget that the U.S. adoption agency handling the adoption made it clear to congratulate the Jolie-Pitt family, not the Jolie family. They’re going to be handling Brad’s adoption of Pax. Nevermind any of that.

They’ve been waiting for 2 plus years for their predictions to come true. Forget, that not one of them have. Just the opposite, but, like I said, they like spitting in the wind and getting wet.

Whn you do things in another country, you have no control over their policies and most countries don’t have privacy laws. Everything is a learning opportunity and let’s hope Angelina & Brad learn that when it comes to their children, there is no such thing as being over cautious, over protective and overly discreet. I’m sure she must be outraged because this whole adoption with Pax bears similarities to when she adopted Maddox. But at that time, the big blabbermouth belonged to her dad. Blabbing about how she adopted Maddox before she got a chance to tell the public. Zahara’s adoption was a little bit more discreet but this case with Pax, the blabbling was started by the directors of the orphanages and the leakage is all coming from there.

E channel works fast. They showed the THS on Angelina and tagged at the end the adoption of Pax complete with pictures. Passports can be reissued and I’m sure that Pax will get an American passport at some point and Angelina can get a new one if hers was leaked on the net.

I was thinking that if I had Jolie and Pitts resources, I would most likely do the same thing. How wonderful it is to give another child a greater choice in this life. I am so proud to be a fan of Angie.

Jen has NOT learned from her mistakes. She continued to lie. She continued to blame other people for anything that went wrong. When the movie rumor has it flopped, she blamed the screen writer. She lied about her nose job, her boob job, lied to her fans, lied to Oprah. She continued this behavior even after the divorce. So what has she learned? Has she changed any? Absolutely NONE.

What about the vanity Fair interview? This interview is the one which I am fuming. I believe Jen is responsible for all the things printed. Even though her publicist mis-guided her. But an employer is responsible for her agent’s actions. She knew what was going on. She should take accountability of this.

Has Jen done anything to change for the better? She did NONE

Again, can someone PLEASE tell me what EXACTLY the NATIONAL ENQUIRER is saying about Brad and Angie, PLEASE??????????????

Jen NEVER really loved Brad. She loved what came with the marriage, the title of Mrs. Pitt, his connection in the movie industry etc.

Jennifer Aniston knows exactly what she wants. She wants fame, money, and a movie career. Having a baby is NEVER her 1st priority. I remember seeing her talking about (in similar words) “the next thing is Oscar” on the stage in one of her award ceremony.

I also believe that the last 6 months of 2003 is their trial separation (although they did not announce it officially). We all know Jen was taping Friends while simultaneouly making the movie “Along came Polly” . To me, this is a really hectic schedule. As to Brad, that same year he spent 6 months outside of the country filming Troy. It looked like they purposely planned to stay away from each other.

Now, Jennifer has achieved what she wanted, (though not all). She got fame and money. As for her movie, time will tell. I personally dont think she will achieve the way she wants it to be. To me, in silver screen, you need to have a commanding presence. Jennifer Aniston just doesnt have that. I personally prefer seeing movies with Kate Hudson, Reese, Cameron Diaz, and Julia Roberts.

All her media appearances (Diane Sawyer, Oprah, Access Hollywood) of saying “a baby is on the way” is just a way to save her image. The fact that she was still smoking indicates she has NO intention of opening her womb.

This is what baffles me. Why Not Tell The Truth or dont even bring up the subject? Even when the subject is brought up, she can just deflect it. She did it again on her fake relationship with Vince.

By repeatedly going to the media and lied about things make me question her character. I have No respect for her. I hope she changed.

ohmigod, i just heard that Papa Brad is on his way 2 Vietnam 2 rejoined his beautiful family, he was heard saying “he missed his peeps so very much n couldn’t take it nemore” awww, cute no?

Was kinda bored last night and so I surfed the other blogs — and now I’m paying for my curiousity. Dlisted is so horrible, those people who post there are so negative, it makes my skin crawl. Gawd, the things they post against Angelina, and Michael K is no better, calling Pax Paxil … how horrible is that! The child has not even been to the U.S. and already he is being called names … and the things they say about Zee and Madd are just so unbelievable, I can’t believe sane people are actually posting this on a blog. And all because they are siding with a whiny, bitter BEEYOTCH WHO NEVER DESERVED TO HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO BRAD PITT. I am so glad that he dumped her a*s. I hope she never finds somebody, or even if she did, it’s someone way way beneath Brad so that everyday of her life she would realize what she had and then tossed away.

You may be a Brad fan but apparantly you are a very supericial one who probably cares for him because he is good looking. The fact that you are refering to them as “brangelina” speaks voluems about your fandom. And if you are a real fan of Brad you would have known that he has said that having a family is the best thing he ever did in his life. That he wants many kids. That he can’t imagine his life without Maddox and Zahara and that he sees all his children as his very own blood. These are things he have said him self in his interviews. Plus the process of the adoption started last summer slowly and Brad was present to the home studies that took place. That was one of the main reason they went to Vietnam last November to visit the orhanage where Pax was living until now. And that is why they went TOGETHER! The adoption got finalized smoothly and now Pax is with his mom and brother waiting for the US passport to be finalized so they will be able to go bak home to the rest of the family. So Brad has absolutely nothing not to be cool about.

When Angie adopted Maddox she couldn’t make the trip to Combodia to pick him up because she was working and he was delivered to her in Namibia where she was filming “Beyond Borders” just like Brad was doing this week. Does that mean that she didn’t care or that she was too cool about it too??? NO.

So if you where the fan you claim to be you would consider all those facs before having your opinion.

guli…I was about to go & I saw your post….well up here we got fresh round of snow fall but only a meagre accumulation unlike I heard from New York where some flights in & out of the airports are either cancelled or delayed.

While waiting for the passport, Ange is held up inside the hotel with 5 & 3 yr old boys… I can’t imagine how that is. I hope they got good entertainment inside the hotel! If it weren’t for the papps she could have taken them out to the beach, playground for Mad and Pax to kick some soccer ball… But I guess it’s better to stay low. The way Vietnamese press has been showing themselves, they are just ready to devour them…it looks kind of dangerous.

Does anyone know how the adopted child’s passport works? Are they experdited, or does he get the permission then the passport to be sent later on?

Oh my how could I forget! Happy Saint Patricks Day! We have a parade taking place in 8″ of new snow and blowing wind, but hey, I’m celebrating here, so who cares?! Oh, Original Curious sorry.

I don’t know if I believe that Huvanne is paying people, but does seem suspicious that whenever Brad and/or Angelina fulfill a goal or succeed in something, someone drags the past up, as if memories from the past should trump actual action and drive.

With all due respect, I feel I must correct something. The bringing up of the past has been not been limited to haters, and as far as the name Huvanne being mentioned? Let’s just say I didn’t know before annd would not know who he was now if not for someone on the Jolie & Pitt side of the fence bringing him to this blogs atteniont. It has not been BAMZS detractors keeping that guys name alive every chance gotten. They are not who is mentioning him no matter how not relevant to a thread he is, and we mention JA’s name or make same reference to her and that guy generally more, most and first.

Now I expect to be caled a *****, a spy, a paid informant for saying what I have, but its just a chnce I’ll take. I am now and have always been a BAMZS now BAMPZS fan, but I am also a lurker who thinks just as much havoc has been caused by certain posters who claim to be protecting the name of the BAMZS family. If Huvane is NOT orchestrating the negative press, then he and his client are up the creek - by doing the Vanity Fair article and other articles/antics a while back they created a monster and now the press and other dummies in the public can’t view his client as anything other than a woman scorned. Pity might have seemed attractive at the time, but 2 years later it’s a turn-off to would-be suitors and employers.

If he and his client ARE orchestrating the negative press then they are truly clueless. It hasn’t enhanced his client’s career. Didn’t people insist on a new ending for the Breakup because they didn’t want to see her dumped again (in a movie)? Talk about limiting your career options! Also, what man wants to be involved with someone who is obsessed with smearing her ex and his new family? VV didn’t last too long. And the smear job will have done nothing to slow down the careers of B and A, or the happiness and growth of their family.

Wow….i can’t beleive all the posts here are so positive about the rate that these two people are collecting babies. I think it was irresponsible to have Shilo so quickly after adopting Zahara and it is irresponsible to adopt Pax so quickly after Shilo. Three babies under three years of age in less than a year seems crazy. I would think that babies (especially adopted) need time to bond with their parents before others are thrown into the mix. Also, especially if you adopting a baby from an institutional setting, it is recommended that you never adopt out of birth order. This is common knowledge in the adoption world to protect all of the children in the family. Jolie and Pitt just seem so ridiculous

Actually, being a parent myself (got two kids) if you are going to have a few kids it’s best, in my opinion, to have them close together. Just for the logistics, you got all the baby gears (gosh and they are so many). Also the kids get to grow up together, and have more in common with each other. Just because you hate Jolie-Pitt for whatever reason, there is no reason to pick on anything that you can find. But again, if you are a delusional hater in denial of their happiness, what is there to say to you.

Instead, I thought the multiplicity of J-P threads to which we were subjected yesterday, would have been consolidated into just one thread, preferably of Angie’s guestbook comment, which is pretty much a public document.
