OlderPax Thien Jolie’s Adoption Papers
Here are the adoptions papers that Angelina Jolie filed with authorities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in order to gain custody of 3-year-old son Pax Thien Jolie. The adoption agency Angelina used also issued this statement following the adoption of Pax.
Bui Thi Bich Tuyen, a nurse from Tam Binh Orphanage where Angelina adopted Pax said staff there didn’t realize she and Brad Pitt were celebrities when they first visited last year during Thanksgiving — Angelina shared crayons and drew pictures with the kids.
Said Tuyen, “They looked very much like ordinary people. We thought that they were just an ordinary couple that wanted to play with the kids and give them presents. They brought lots of toys. We could already see that she had a heart for children.”

Rather than write letters to the Vietnamese Orphanage etc it would be better to do things in the same spirit as JPs. The important issues are that there are more children in this orphanage. The Director of this place is I’m sure a good guy as are the people who work there probably for very little money living a life that is culturally very different. Go easy on them. They were taking good care of a young boy who was lucky enough to be adopted by good hearted, loving, wealthy new parents. Those that are left behind do not have this they have the love of the workers. Please don’t say negative things about the people who work there. It is so easy to do that. JPs know how to take care of themselves, they are pretty intelligent. In the end it is all the people who are interested in their lives that create the need for photos and paps etc., as a result it’s not possible to pick and choose what you want to see. If there is interest there is a market. It’s just the way it is. I’m sure JPs would be very happy if letters of protest etc., were written to our governments to remind them of the attrocities that happen in the world that they (western governments) a lot of times have an indirect and direct hand in creating. These situations then create refugees and orphans. JPs I doubt would like us criticizing people who have little power themselves. If the JPs were concerned about the documents they would do something about it but it will be forgotten soon enough and won’t hurt them.

I have children adopted from Vietnam and this is what their adoption papers look like. I don’t speak the language either, but I know what I signed. These are very personal. Adoptive parents frequently put them in very special places and take them out WHEN IT IS TIME, WHEN THE CHILD IS READY to explain the story that is so full of sorrow….that someone left the child for whatever reason, and the child had to wait for their new parents to come and get them. This is personal history. Do we have a description of the night Jared was conceived? Let’s post that. This is the only personal thread of history the little boy will ever have from his home country. There are more pages than this, but this is very sacred ground we are treading on. For those who have never adopted or been adopted, you maybe can’t understand the meaning if these documents. This is sacred ground we are treading on carelessly.
The previous Pax thread was very obviously his Vietnamese passport, which gets issued after the Vietnamese adoption ceremony where this paper is signed. Anyone’s ID is NO ONE ELSE’s BUSINESS. If Brad were here he would want to punch us all in the face.
I will leave now. Not that I’m the life of this party, but I am just hearbroken that so much of this little guy’s private life is the centerpiece of the chatroom for folks who claim to love the Jolie-Pitts. We don’t gain anything by seeing this stuff.

I think we can keep posting here. This is where the bulk of their fans are. We need to let JJ post what’s already released to the general public. If we want to take action on this we direct it to the right place. JJ is not the culprit here.

As a fan of Jolie-Pitt, I am frustrated to know that their personal information is floating on the internet. IMAGINE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FLOATING ON THE INTERNET! I think both the media and the Vietnamese Officials are at fault. The media will ALWAYS approach to purchase information, especially juicy information! If the Vietnamese Officials is professional and understand the confidentiality, they SHOULD know better to follow and stick being as a professional organization. Now, it’s obvious that the Vietnamese Officials are hungry for fame and money$. SHAME ON THE MEDIA AND VIETNAMESE OFFICIALS!!!! I just hope that JJ and Audrey will remove their passport information from this blog out of respect!!!!!!!!

Anyone, are the girls in LA or in Vietnam? Only those stories quoting Reuters say they are in Vietnam, other sources say only Maddox is in Vietnam, including People and ET which iare usually accurate. Any pixs or sightings of the girls? Last time they were in Vietnam the local papers said they were and even gave the hotel room numbers. I don’t think they are in Vietnam, but what do I know?

I just didn’t know if these actually are the papers. You signed them, so know. Please, don’t be heartbroken, this little man has two of the best parents on this earth. He will make through. I’ll still go back occasionally since I love websurfer’s posts… Yep, ITA too much info… OK me the naive or positive one sees it as them trying to get as much publicity as they can get to help the other kids in their orphanage or for their country…. But, they are really pushing it to the point where I’m ticked off, why not wait after he is here at USA, the paps would not have been there in hoards if they didn’t start talking about it. IMHO, Pax’s needs come first, the rest as publicity to do good for Vietnam or the orphanage later , JMHO!!!

sheri- hi. it doesn’t matter if there is nothing personal on the passport. It’s his and his parent’s private id. there’s no way of minimizing that!!!
I think all this information may backfire for Vietnam. Who will want to adopt when they know their info can be bought for a few bucks? I’m just extremely happy this wonderful little person has the family he does. After this I have a feeling the Jolie Pitts will be out of sight for a good period of time!

hiya sheri. yes, we’re all here indeed. i have an easy day so i’ve been chatting on and off.
i don’t know about you or others, but as for me, the minute an agency or the media is posting something about a person and with a birth date on it, it becomes sharing personal information, especially a passport and adopting document, that is considered personal information!
why don’t we all e-mail jared and ask him to pull these threads, it’s really sad and not right. If anyone wants to jump down my throat, go for it, but imagine if this was your family.
Susie, your right! But unfortunately if you ever notice the media gets passport pics when they cant get any other up to date pics, why, your passport is the property of the issuing govt’. Now Vietnam had no right to release it, but are we sure they did?

totally agreed. i feel bad for the family and i am sick to my stomach. i am not blaming the people working at the orphanage who takes care of PAX, but i do blame the vietnamese officials and the director at the orphanage. according, to release of documents so far has been stated it was released by the officials and the director of orphanage. for god sake, if they got any morals and understand the professionalism of an agency, doesn’t matter how much$ is offered, you stick to your standards and morals!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO THINK THE CONSEQUENCES AND LONG TERMS!!!
I don’t want their information out. I prefer if they are out there that we should have it on JJ thread so that people can address the problem. If thesame document is on TMZ what do we do? I’ll simply have it on JJ where their fans are and the appropriate action can be taken.

OK, I am going to try to stay on the positive side and enjoy the fact that a child who lived in an orphanage his whole life since birth is going to have a wonderful life, great education and a great loving family :-)

Susie, Jolie Pitt and everyone, I don’t condone the leak of their info. Unfortunatley what we believe is private is not. I don’t like it any more than the rest of you. But read the Patriot Act and you won’t sleep for a week. We don’t know if it was the govt of Vietnam who released Angies passport or the US. Those of you who know who I work for we use the same sources to uncover stuff. Not me personally but you know… These are the same sources they are using to find out things about our favorite person to dislike Tatiana. We are all one click away from all of our information being on this thread, we need legislation to stop it! Ok stepping off of my soap box. JMHO

I kinda disagree! Because he’s Brad Pitt doesn’t mean he can use his power and fame to break contract or do whatever he wants. If he does that, who is going to respect him and surely, people are going to think that he’s using fame to do what he wants and whenever he wants. Yes, he can pull something most of the times because he’s an A-List star, but even an A-List star has to be disciplined, depending on circumstance (s). I believe this is the right move on Brad for not going with Angie. Besides, it shows that Brad trust Angie being on her own completely like any relationship would. I am not worried at all about Brad and Angie as I am sure they are together. If worse case scenario that ther really is something wrong, I am sure Angie and can handle just fine on her own. And, I am sure they are both going to handle as mature adults!!!! I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you!!!!
OK, like I said before ITA with all of you so there is no disagreement, but what can we do. In the mean time should I still post here on this thread? I’ll wait to hear???
