OlderAngelina Jolie Carries Son Pax
Angelina Jolie carries her newly adopted son Pax Thien Jolie, 3, as she rushes to a VIP room at the Tan Son Nhat airport on Morning morning in Ho Chi Minh city, southern Vietnam.
The pair was escorted under a big umbrella held by her personal security officer Mickey Brett.
According to Us Weekly, the mother-of-four checked out of their hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at around 2 p.m. and left behind their toys to be given away to needy children.
The Oscar-winning actress and her children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh – are traveling to Hanoi, the Vietnamese capital, to complete the procedures necessary to take Pax to his new home in the United States.
Angelina is expected to meet with U.S. Embassy officials Tuesday to apply for a visa for 3-year-old Pax. Once the visa is issued, she can take him to L.A. She is expected to leave Hanoi on Wednesday.
How cute does Pax look wearing his hat backwards? What a punk. I love it!!
Is that Angelina’s assistant Holly Goline in the bottom-left?

Where does it say she’s staying home for good? So you read a headline and say “Jolie Stays home” so you automatic don’t bother to read the rest and made up your mind. Get with the program.
“I’m not making any movies right now,” Jolie said in the interview. “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children, and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment.”

The first time I saw “Wanted” I thought “Oh NO not the JA movie”. LOL
This movie is based on a graphic novel. I really think Angelina like playing these strong women types that you don’t normally don’t see in other scripts.
One site notes that this movie will be a 12 week shoot. So just because the movie starts filming in May does not mean that is when Angelina is due on set.
I just read that Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy is filming a romanic comedy this summer. I don’t blame them for knocking on her door. She’s young and doesn’t command $8M to play one character on TV.

Kevin Macdonald, who directed Forest Whitaker to an Oscar in “The Last King of Scotland,” has signed on to shoot “State of Play,” a political thriller to which Brad Pitt is attached.
Based on a 2003 BBC miniseries, the Universal Pictures project revolves around an elected government official and his former campaign manager (Pitt), who is now a journalist for a high-profile national paper. When two seemingly unrelated slayings are linked by a single phone call, the friends find themselves on opposite sides of the investigation.
The action will be moved to Washington. A late 2007 start date is eyed.
Macdonald won an Oscar of his own, as director of the Munich Olympics documentary, “One Day in September.”

Recently, I took my 13-year-old daughter Maddy to a New York City event honoring Angelina Jolie. Every parent will relate to the fact that Maddy often finds the world of celebrity magazines more interesting than the world of her father—which in my case centers on the United Nations and its work fighting poverty. That night Angelina brought those two worlds together. Maddy was awed by how Angelina used her celebrity to lift all of us beyond the glamour of a Manhattan ballroom and make us confront the grim realities of poverty in the farthest corners of the globe.
That ability to transcend worlds has something to do with Angelina’s movie-star charisma—but it also says something about her diligence and grit. Angelina, 30, spends a great deal of time in the developing world, visiting refugee camps, speaking and listening to the men, women and children she is working to help. Those people, Angelina explained, “have seen so much, they’ve felt so much pain—lost more than anyone could bear, and yet they contain joy of life and appreciation for small things we often forget.” It was a further indication of Angelina’s humanity that she stopped to listen and talk to Maddy as the city’s power brokers hovered impatiently, awaiting their brush with celebrity.
Angelina’s commitment as goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees has pushed her to speak out about root causes—economic failure and lack of justice. She urged me relentlessly to meet her last year during a stopover at an airport where our paths happened to be crossing, so that I could brief her ahead of her appearance at a big international meeting. It is typical of her. The subject was the Millennium Development Goals—a set of objectives agreed upon by the world’s governments. They range from eradicating poverty to reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS. As always, she wanted to be prepared—not just to share impressions of poverty but to be able to speak seriously to the issues. Angelina went on to make a film for MTV on a village in Kenya, where a pilot project is under way to fight poverty, hunger and disease.
That blending of the activist and the performer, not on the set but in the African bush, reflects her determination to stick with a subject, immerse herself in it, make it part of her life—and then bring her public with her. It is celebrity advocacy at its most effective, most intelligent and most sincere. For that, she has my enduring respect and gratitude—and Maddy’s.

I have always felt that Angie was giving her opinion of Brad`s marriage based on how the media played it out. I don`t think she was implying that this is what Brad told her. She was clearly stating that she was not chasing Brad because not only was he married, but that she was under the impression that he was married to his best friend. Clearly Angie does not follow celebrity lives, or she would have never been under the impression that it was a perfect marriage. It was obvious to anyone that followed the golden couple that Brad and Jen were done way before Angie.
Brad and Angie clicked from the moment they met. They both stated this. So it would be easy to assume that Brad spilled the beans about his phony marriage shortly after they (Brad and Angie) met. Which is why Angie allowed herself to become best friends with him.
What I don`t get is how Jen`s fans can call Angie a homewrecker, and yet comment on how Brad should abandon Angie and his children and go back to Jen. They want a happy family to be torn apart just so they (jen`s fans) will be happy.
It has been over 2 yrs. since Brad and Jen split up. I spent the first year defending Brad and Angie at us mag and tmz. I had gotten into some nasty spats with some very ugly people. I no longer visit either site. I stay at jj`s keeping informed of my favorite family and posting occasionaly. I could not imagine spending over 2 years of my life surfing the world wide web for stories about jen, just so I could spew hate day in and day out.
Brad has met the woman of his dreams. He is happy with Angie, and Angie is happy with him. They have a wonderful family together. They are trying to make a difference in the lives of people most people don`t give a rats a*s about.
Let them.
Aniston could have financed her movie. But I guess she doesnt have any business acumen. All those times, it was Brad who is the mastermind of Plan B.
Remember Cool Hand Luke, the movie with Paul Newman? I can’t remember the prison warden’s name. But he had that classic line, “What I think we have here is a failure to communicate.” Well that is what talking to the haters is, a failure to communicate. No matter how you say it, no matter how many times you say it, no matter what language you say it in, it will still be a failure of communication. Because they don’t want to communicate. Communication is a way to exchange thoughts, ideas opinons, etc. It is a means to enhance and enlighten. To inform and to learn. To disagree if needed, but hopefully with some type of resolution in sight. They don’t do, nor do they want to do any of this. They just want to spew hate. Why bother with them? It is a wasted effort that only leads to frustration and brain drain. People, communication is futile. Peace.

I think U= Universal.
I am bampzs fan..and am happy for angelina at her latest baby. But am disturbed that i have yet to see a picture of shiloh in her arms.I hope she isnt being misguided..in her attempt to ensconce her adopted kids with love, i hope she remembers that shiloh deserves her equal attention. Makes me wonder whether it matters to her wat brad has to say about anything. She is moving too fast. Reading about her frequent long trips alone makes me exhausted…and bringing those poor kids along most times..children need stability. Sometimes, i just think she is doing this to prove something to herself, but i hope not at the expense of those poor children. As for Brad, he can cope and will just move on to the next beautiful woman. I guess after being a long time fan of angelina, i am getting just a lil’ cynical now..sorry..hope i see the light again soon…

ITA— yep he definetly is the mastermind of Plan B. Not only that, he is the one who has all the connections with HW producers and directors. If the new movie “wanted” is true re AJ, thats great. Plus Morgan Freeman and Brad really like each other, I rememmber interviews where they both speak very highly of one another, which move did they work together in?

It was always clear to me that Angelina wasn’t going to be a SAHM for the rest of her life. Why should she, especially when Brad can also be SAHD when she is working.
In real life, people juggle different needs and different interests. So far, Brad and Angelina have been very very conscious about how they juggle things.

I wish that many othere would try to do what she did… Each month I donate $35 to the SOS village… It not much I know.. but for a poor nation $35 a month can do so much.. if many make a commitment of $35xmillion, so many more children, and family can be help..
Angie is a great person.. for that I admire her alots.. I hope that she always well so that she can continue to do the work that she been doing..
I wish the the young HW star would learn from her and try to do the same, instead of wasting money on clothes, parties, etc…
