FIRST LOOK: Angelina Jolie & Pax Thien Jolie on the cover of HELLO!
As just reported, here is the exclusive Hello! magazine cover of new mom Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien Jolie. This issue will provide an “intimate glimpse of Angelina as she arrived in Vietnam to pick up her new adopted son Pax Thien last week.”
Here are some highlights from Angelina’s intimate interview with Hello!:
- On her son’s kindness: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy.”
- On Pax coping with his new life “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.”
- On being a devoted mom: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
- On strengthening bonds with Pax: “We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all together.”
And according to a Hello! press release, there will be “breathtaking spread features [of] young Pax playing and napping with his new siblings.” We can look forward to a great photo spread of Angelina, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Hello! reports that once they fly back to L.A., Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt.

If they brought Shiloh to the photo shoot for adopted children, then Angie would be accused of comparing Shiloh or thinking Shiloh was adopted. She can’t win. She knows it, therefore she doesn’t care what the haters think. She does what she and Brad wants and the rest of the world can f@@k off. Peace.

Lainey had commented something like Brad saying why the critics of Angelina but not GwenS saying baby is a blob. Yep, I can see them saying why cater to those creepy people. In that same lainey thread she says that Brad is not happy to see “adopted” used as an adjective with Mad and Zee, they are all “his kids” period.

Actually, PR professionals have said that that is exactly what staged photos like this do, take the pressure off from the paps because their next shot is not worth 500K but may be 10k. big difference in incentive no?? And its not me saying it or Mr and Mrs Smith, its PR professionals who should know a thing or 2 about managing the paps. They aren’t after all, like Huvane you know.

let’s just enjoy the pictures… since that is one of the reason why we check this blog everyday… to catch a glimpse of them…. :)
I think it’s great they adopted another child. Pax in latin means Peace.
But I also wonder if Angie and Brad will ever have the courage to adopt a child with physical or mental disabilities. There are so many out there. And because their are not “perfect”, they are always forgotten.

Lol - it is pretty funny isn’t it? As if there is anything that they haven’t discussed, planned, thought out etc. I guess maybe some of their critics are thoughtless and disorganized and just assume everyone is as stupid as they are? It is better to b e thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

She is coming across as a media (you know what). All she has to do is blink and we hear about it and thats not her fault. But if she carries on with these people magazine exclusives then she can’t complain when she cannot take her kids theme parks because people are going to do whatever it takes a get photos of her and her family. If she thinks these pics will make a razzies take it easy on them, then she is very naive.
Look, I like her but I also think that maybe she might be slightly addicted to the attention. I don’t want to ref. La Lohan buuuuuuuuut! Now I’m not saying she is as bad but they both seem to thrive on it.

The thing is, Angelina has said, she is a PUBLIC person, she is going to give more interviews than Brad will. Didn’t she do a photoshoot with Maddox before she got together with Brad for VF? Hasn’t she also done photoshoots with her 1st husband, 2nd husband, brother, father? So, this is not something new that she is doing. As long as she has the control, she will agree to have her picture taken. What she does not want is them shouting and scaring the kids while taking pictures. She said on Showbiz Tonight that she understands them wanting to take pictures of her kids, just do it from afar and respectfully. If she can control that aspect of her life in some way, why not do it? Mediawhore or not, still love her.

What an interesting comment - I hope they consider this some day if they think it is ‘doable’ for them. I wonder with all the travelling they do if it would be a good idea though? I wouldn’t be surprised if they have discussed it at least - they have big hearts :-)

They already adopted 2 babies and a toddler.
I’m thinking a whole family (mum, dad and all the kids lets say 6 kids). That way Brad will have that football team.

How many children with physical and mental disabilities have you adopted? Surely it must be several, judging by your criticism of the Jolie-Pitts.
Shiloh stayed home with dad because they may have to do reshoots for the movie - or she has/had another scene in the movie. Or she is only 9 months old - not walking and/or doesn’t travel well. Who knows, I’m certain that there is a reasonable explanation for her staying with her father.
“As I’ve reported before, the Pitts are very sensitive about their
biological child overshadowing their adoptive ones, given the mass hysteria that ensues after a Shiloh sighting and perceived inequalities with respect to race. And given that this photo deal was likely made in exchange for heavy Vietnam promotion and probably a huge donation, the Pitts were undoubtedly interested in sticking to that message.”

For the last time, the reporter said blob when Angie was a loss for a word, and she said yes a blob. Have you been around newborns, not much personality the first few months! they eat, sleep, cry, mess their diapers and start again. Takes a couple of months for their little personalities to come out. They are like little blobs, how come you don’t have the same prob with Gwen Stephanie? Or for that matter my friends 4 yr old who asks about his sister, is she ever going to do something besides spit up!?

Whoa - why do you think they are criticizing Brad and Angelina? It takes a lot of courage to adopt a child with special needs and especially when your work takes you all over the world. I didn’t think they meant any harm by their comment.
