As just reported, here is the exclusive Hello! magazine cover of new mom Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien Jolie. This issue will provide an “intimate glimpse of Angelina as she arrived in Vietnam to pick up her new adopted son Pax Thien last week.”
Here are some highlights from Angelina’s intimate interview with Hello!:
- On her son’s kindness: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy.”
- On Pax coping with his new life “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.”
- On being a devoted mom: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
- On strengthening bonds with Pax: “We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all together.”
And according to a Hello! press release, there will be “breathtaking spread features [of] young Pax playing and napping with his new siblings.” We can look forward to a great photo spread of Angelina, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Hello! reports that once they fly back to L.A., Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt.

Just asking, but has anyone stop to consider that by doing this shoot and presenting Pax to the public and media this might lessen the frenzy surrounding this child. By trying not to expose him to the public, press, she opens the door for the paps to want to hound her and all of her children. Remember she said that the paps frightened him. So get it out of the way. Introduce him in a controlled environment with the other children. I don’t see what the big deal is. If AJ wanted to be on the cover of a magazine she could be on any as many as she wanted to be on. When they can’t get her for a cover , they put old pictures of her on them. I think it is a smart move. I am certain she and Brad thought this through rather carefully. I know some of you will tis, tis, tis this theory and still call her names. But in the long run, even the short run, you have nothing to do with it. And if the decision has been made, you certainly can’t change. Therefore stfu. You forget these are not your children. This is not your life. I am sure if Brad didn’t think it was the right thing to do, she would not be doing it. I know some of you think he is whipped, but I for one believe he has just as much say so as she does. Peace.

Oscar-winning Scot signs on to direct new Brad Pitt thrillerMARTYN McLAUGHLIN March 20 2007
Kevin Macdonald, the Oscar-winning director of The Last King of Scotland, is to direct the Hollywood version of the BBC political thriller, State of Play.
The 45-year-old has signed on to the Universal Pictures production of the acclaimed television series.
The adaptation will feature Brad Pitt in the investigative reporter role first played by John Simm. Production is due to begin in November.
advertisementThe project will be the Gartocharn-born director’s second dramatic feature, following The Last King Of Scotland, which featured Forest Whittaker and James McAvoy. Previously, he won a best documentary Oscar in 1999 for One Day In September. He followed it up with 2003’s Touching The Void.
Paul Abbot, the original writer of State of Play, has assumed an executive producer’s role for the film version. Matthew Michael Carnahan has written the script, understood to focus on the circumstances surrounding the murder of a US congressman’s mistress.
The announcement comes as Pitt’s partner, Angelina Jolie, is confirmed to appear in a multi-million pound feature based upon the novels of a Lanarkshire comic book writer. She will star in Wanted, a £51m production of the series penned by Mark Millar from Coatbridge. McAvoy and Morgan Freeman will co-star in the film, also being made by Universal Pictures.
Millar said: “Angelina Jolie is probably the biggest female film star in the world right now and a really good actress. She’s got a very powerful presence and she’s Morgan Freeman’s right-hand man - so to speak - in the film. It needed to be someone intimidating and she’s a great choice for a role like that.”

Hello my cyber-buddies - a huge HUG back to you all and a big hello! I’m doing OK - have missed you guys and am glad to be back and seeing some of the first pics of Angelina and Pax.
LOL - love the image of the bolts on their necks rusted shut - LMFAO! These haters are so ridiculous - it doesn’t matter what configuration you get of this family in a photo, or whether there’s a photo or the decision to not have a photo taken - these nutbars will ALWAYS find something ridiculous to pick out and harp on. All I can say is good god - get a life! Go find something you enjoy and put your energy into that. I can’t imagine spending so much time on something or someone I don’t like or love. How sad and pathetic they are!

Looking comfortable and secure in his new mother’s arms, Pax Thien Jolie - whose name means peaceful sky - is settling into life as the son of Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie. The special image, which appears on the front cover of HELLO!, is part of a series of intimate photos of the mother and son’s first precious days together in Vietnam that appear exclusively in this week’s issue of the magazine.
The family photo album also shows the three-year-old getting to know his Ethiopian sister Zahara as they play happily by a pool, and falling asleep alongside big brother Maddox, who is from neighbouring Cambodia. “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life,” promises the devoted mum. “I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
Angelina affectionately describes Pax, who was known at the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City by the name of Pham Quang Sang, as a “very sweet little boy”. “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language,” she told HELLO!. “He is very strong,” added the star who has learned some basic Vietnamese phrases so she can communicate with her son.

Some people are acting like Brad is the only one clueless about what is happening in his OWN FREAKING LIFE!!! The process of this adoption took place shortly after Shiloh was born. Brad knew exactly what was going to happen long before we had any clue that they where even going to adopt. Just because we are late on the news doesn’t mean that the Jolie Pitt’s are too.

I wonder what Angelina will talk about in her interview. I think she might discuss only the adoption of her new son. I would be surprised if she discusses brad and their home life with the kids. Though it will be nice if the articles to allude to the whole family. Heidi Gonzalez who handled Angelina’s adoption told Access that Angelina is anxious to get back to the US with pax so the whole family will be together or something like that.

So, she did leave HER baby behind. I don’t get that one. I read many posts here talking about how Brad is working and seen pics of him off on his bike. So not cool! I still like Angelina and I think she truely does have a big heart, but leaving her baby behind while taking the other two… I don’t know about that.
So I guess this proves Brad only loves their bio baby since he let her run off with the other two, and that is probably why Angelina has to make up for lost attention to the adopted less cared for kids. This is getting sad!
I guess I should just stop being a fan now before the BIG breakup.
You know this could be a bit of contest! Who can flag the sicko first! Hmmm we could have prizes…
