FIRST LOOK: Angelina Jolie & Pax Thien Jolie on the cover of HELLO!
As just reported, here is the exclusive Hello! magazine cover of new mom Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien Jolie. This issue will provide an “intimate glimpse of Angelina as she arrived in Vietnam to pick up her new adopted son Pax Thien last week.”
Here are some highlights from Angelina’s intimate interview with Hello!:
- On her son’s kindness: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy.”
- On Pax coping with his new life “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.”
- On being a devoted mom: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
- On strengthening bonds with Pax: “We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all together.”
And according to a Hello! press release, there will be “breathtaking spread features [of] young Pax playing and napping with his new siblings.” We can look forward to a great photo spread of Angelina, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Hello! reports that once they fly back to L.A., Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt.

hey guli! how was your day? Is this just a beautiful pic or what. I think he is intense like his mamma, very deep. Susie noticed he has his moms lips! I love it! He was meant to be with them!

Looking comfortable and secure in his new mother’s arms, Pax Thien Jolie - whose name means peaceful sky - is settling into life as the son of Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie. The special image, which appears on the front cover of HELLO!, is part of a series of intimate photos of the mother and son’s first precious days together in Vietnam that appear exclusively in this week’s issue of the magazine.
The family photo album also shows the three-year-old getting to know his Ethiopian sister Zahara as they play happily by a pool, and falling asleep alongside big brother Maddox, who is from neighbouring Cambodia. “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life,” promises the devoted mum. “I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
Angelina affectionately describes Pax, who was known at the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City by the name of Pham Quang Sang, as a “very sweet little boy”. “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language,” she told HELLO!. “He is very strong,” added the star who has learned some basic Vietnamese phrases so she can communicate with her son.
Once back in the States, Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt who was unable to accompany his partner on the trip to Vietnam due to filming commitments. See the exclusive photos and special report in Issue 962 of HELLO! magazine on sale from Wednesday, March 21.
Some people are acting like Brad is the only one clueless about what is happening in his OWN FREAKING LIFE!!! The process of this adoption took place shortly after Shiloh was born. Brad knew exactly what was going to happen long before we had any clue that they where even going to adopt. Just because we are late on the news doesn’t mean that the Jolie Pitt’s are too.

I wonder what Angelina will talk about in her interview. I think she might discuss only the adoption of her new son. I would be surprised if she discusses brad and their home life with the kids. Though it will be nice if the articles to allude to the whole family. Heidi Gonzalez who handled Angelina’s adoption told Access that Angelina is anxious to get back to the US with pax so the whole family will be together or something like that.

I’m pretty clueless myself. I’ve been MIA for several days, and I know I shall never catch up, so I’m just jumping in right here. Honestly, I was waiting for Angie to get home because I didn’t want to inadvertently contribute to any madness around her while she’s traveling. I’ll feel better once they are all together again.

There is a big difference between sitting down for a photoshoot and interview and being chased all over God’s green earth by the paparazzi - one is by agreement and the other is NOT - sorry you can’t make that distinction.

So, she did leave HER baby behind. I don’t get that one. I read many posts here talking about how Brad is working and seen pics of him off on his bike. So not cool! I still like Angelina and I think she truely does have a big heart, but leaving her baby behind while taking the other two… I don’t know about that.
So I guess this proves Brad only loves their bio baby since he let her run off with the other two, and that is probably why Angelina has to make up for lost attention to the adopted less cared for kids. This is getting sad!
I guess I should just stop being a fan now before the BIG breakup.

I still think this was done to counter the negative press. Access Hollywood had on the lady from the adoption agency that work with Angelina. Now that has not happen before. A week after Angelina went to get Pax and the press are still asking questions.
Yes I know Angelina normally does not care about negative press but this is less about her and more abot the integrety of the adoption process and the agency that she used.
If you are a long time fan of Brad than you know he would not care about being in this photoshoot. That he knows what is truly important and what is just zen master spin. His being a father is not established or diminished by him being in this photoshoot.

do you know if Shiloh was ill, or think about a child not yet a year old traveling at that pace. If she had taken her you would have slammed her for that. So just stop trying to find fault. We don’t know so how can anyone make judgements. You wouldn’t appreciate that in your life. So stop it!

Susie - thanks again so much for the pics and all the forwards - I need to make a big list of all those to thank for their condolences and support, but also just need to move forward a bit and am excited to see everyone and celebrate in the good news. Sheri - look forward to an update - although I’m sure everyone here is praying for you and not at all “bored” with any updates you provide. We are a tight family here!
