FIRST LOOK: Angelina Jolie & Pax Thien Jolie on the cover of HELLO!
As just reported, here is the exclusive Hello! magazine cover of new mom Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien Jolie. This issue will provide an “intimate glimpse of Angelina as she arrived in Vietnam to pick up her new adopted son Pax Thien last week.”
Here are some highlights from Angelina’s intimate interview with Hello!:
- On her son’s kindness: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy.”
- On Pax coping with his new life “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.”
- On being a devoted mom: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
- On strengthening bonds with Pax: “We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all together.”
And according to a Hello! press release, there will be “breathtaking spread features [of] young Pax playing and napping with his new siblings.” We can look forward to a great photo spread of Angelina, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Hello! reports that once they fly back to L.A., Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt.

Oscar-winning Scot signs on to direct new Brad Pitt thrillerMARTYN McLAUGHLIN March 20 2007
Kevin Macdonald, the Oscar-winning director of The Last King of Scotland, is to direct the Hollywood version of the BBC political thriller, State of Play.
The 45-year-old has signed on to the Universal Pictures production of the acclaimed television series.
The adaptation will feature Brad Pitt in the investigative reporter role first played by John Simm. Production is due to begin in November.
advertisementThe project will be the Gartocharn-born director’s second dramatic feature, following The Last King Of Scotland, which featured Forest Whittaker and James McAvoy. Previously, he won a best documentary Oscar in 1999 for One Day In September. He followed it up with 2003’s Touching The Void.
Paul Abbot, the original writer of State of Play, has assumed an executive producer’s role for the film version. Matthew Michael Carnahan has written the script, understood to focus on the circumstances surrounding the murder of a US congressman’s mistress.
The announcement comes as Pitt’s partner, Angelina Jolie, is confirmed to appear in a multi-million pound feature based upon the novels of a Lanarkshire comic book writer. She will star in Wanted, a £51m production of the series penned by Mark Millar from Coatbridge. McAvoy and Morgan Freeman will co-star in the film, also being made by Universal Pictures.
Millar said: “Angelina Jolie is probably the biggest female film star in the world right now and a really good actress. She’s got a very powerful presence and she’s Morgan Freeman’s right-hand man - so to speak - in the film. It needed to be someone intimidating and she’s a great choice for a role like that.”

Truth - thanks - we are hanging in there and all pretty exhausted - but the experience has brought us all even closer together. I got to see some cousins last week that I haven’t seen for years and other family members - we’ve all decided to try and get together for an happy occasion next time! How are you doing?

I realize that, but truth be told, children stay shy unless they are pulled out of their comfort zone and then realize that it’s not as scary as they thought! I have a twin brother and the two of us were very shy and mostly off in our own little world together until we went to play school and then public school. It wasn’t easy but we both managed to overcome our shyness and manage new situations and people. It would never have happened if we had been allowed to stay together in the same classes all of our lives. Similarly, Pax has been in an orphanage with probably mainly the same children and caretakers for several years. He is only 3 and will manage just fine - a photographer taking a picture of him and Angelina in a controlled environment isn’t going to scar him for life, or at all!
Angeilna, please do what’s good for you and your family not what people want or don’t want. You go girl.

Don’t forget Angelina and Brad are public figures. That’s why they are being hounded by these illegitimate media or more known as “paparazzis’”. They’re doing their own way of controlling this photos and plus well arrange interviews about themselves and their family. That’s their counter-action against these crazy hound illegitimate photographers.

Thank you real lou. I’m just amazed by some people’s thinking. The funny thing is that if Angie and Brad didn’t’ want anything to be said for this adoption to the press we wouldn’t know anything about it until Pax was already home like it happen with Zahara. Just because we are not alerted about everything they did, are doing and will do doesn’t mean that they are not taking any action. We know only because they want us to know. Otherwise we are just followers.
They decided to be open about it this time so all the questions and doubts some may express will be answered. Adoption is a very important matter and when someone adopts it reflects to all those people that have the desire to adopt too. For that reason any misinformation should be corrected because it’s about adoption in general not just about Angie.
And I’m just LMAO with some people saying that a parent’s love for their child or their significant other can be qualified by a photoshoot. Screw all the time they have spent together and with their kids. It’s only the photoshoot that matters.
And the most hilarious part is that we have people saying that this is a publicity stunt and we have people complaining about Brad or Shiloh not being in it.
Now please decide haters witch is it?? A publicity stunt to make Angie look good to the press or a recommendation of who loves who. LMAO!@!

Yeah - Pax will be photographed whether he’s on a controlled photoshoot for this Hello! spread or out in public with the rest of the JoliePitt clan.
So, unfortunately Pax life will change; however, luckily he will be part of a very interesting, loving and well-supported family.
There are always two sides to a coin. So the JoliePitts did the right thing by having this photoshoot now.
I betcha Z is becoming very aware of her surroundings - she probably snuck into that Pax trip. The previous trip to Vietnam had Jolie and Mad only.
I think Pitt wanted at least one of his kids near him. This must be killing him to be away from his family.
Well, the family is evolving and there will be new experiences and some different kinds of trips to follow. JoliePitts are always going to do things very differently!

I get what you are saying about the shyness but it is JUST TOO SOON to be doing a photoshoot JMHO. Do your interveiw if you want to clear things up but the photoshoots are starting to add-up. You know.
