FIRST LOOK: Angelina Jolie & Pax Thien Jolie on the cover of HELLO!
As just reported, here is the exclusive Hello! magazine cover of new mom Angelina Jolie and Pax Thien Jolie. This issue will provide an “intimate glimpse of Angelina as she arrived in Vietnam to pick up her new adopted son Pax Thien last week.”
Here are some highlights from Angelina’s intimate interview with Hello!:
- On her son’s kindness: “He is a very serious, very sweet little boy.”
- On Pax coping with his new life “You can imagine what courage it takes to be in all new surroundings with new people and a new language. He is very strong.”
- On being a devoted mom: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.”
- On strengthening bonds with Pax: “We are slowly beginning to build his trust and bond but it will feel complete only when we are all together.”
And according to a Hello! press release, there will be “breathtaking spread features [of] young Pax playing and napping with his new siblings.” We can look forward to a great photo spread of Angelina, Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Hello! reports that once they fly back to L.A., Pax will meet his youngest sister, Shiloh, and dad Brad Pitt.

I must admit, I was trying to catch up on reading the older threads, and I came across that previously unseen picture of Angie, Brad and the girls in NO…. you know, the one where Angie is kneeling on her knees in front of the stroller with her back to the camera, and Brad is standing behind the stroller with his TONGUE out. Well, as it happens, Angie’s head is lined up jst riiiight, so that if the stroller weren’t there her head would be juuuuust at the right level for, well… you get the picture. Sorry. These two just ooze sex appeal. I can’t help it, really! haha!!
Wonder if Angie is home by now. ;)!

Nothing surprises me any more! LOL! I guess parents should stop bringing cameras into the delivery room too - all those poor babies who have been in hiding for 9 months just can’t handle a flashbulb. Spare me.
Some of these rants about the absence of Brad and Shiloh would be funny if they weren’t so off the wall.
Brad’s words at Babel premiere in Palm Springs in JANUARY 2007 when asked about more adoptions- “OF COURSE, WE’LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN WE GET THERE!!”
OK, PEOPLE. Brad was fully aware of the adoption. Brad and Angelina are on the same page. Pax will become a Jolie-Pitt. OK. The adoption came through quicker than was expected, they were thinking April (we know this thanks to the talkative Vietnam officials who were happy to open their mouths).
Shiloh is a 9 month old baby. She will come to know Pax as she gets older and accept him easily as another big brother. Mad is still the oldest, his place is not threatened. But Zahara is 2 years old and needed to bond as quickly as possible with Pax, she would be totally aware of Pax joining the family and might not be too happy about it.
I am cleaning my house and watching The Bone Collector, and it is raining and gray. One daywhen I was cleaning my house and it was raining and gray. I turned on tv and The Bone Collector was on. I had never seen it. Loved it. Bought the dvd, and now whenever I clean my house I pop it in the dvd. Good house cleaning movie. By the way she is the same size then as now.
People forget that these two people talk to one another. They communicate. They discuss things. As Brad said in that interview in Interview magazine they put everything on the table. I believe him.. These are smart people who care for one another. Will they last forever? Who knows. Who really cares. Right now they are building a family. It is not my family, nor yours. But it is their family and they have the right to build it as they see fit. She is like Wyclef Jean said she is very protective of her children. She is doing what she and Brad thinks is best to insure minimal harm to their, their newest member. Maddox, Z, and Shiloh are old pros with the papps. This child has probably never seen a photographer in his young life. Try to see the good. For some of you this will be difficult I know, therefore I will pray for you.

Remember Brad told Seacrest that they wanted a soccor team and would adopt next. Angie told Diana Sawyer they would adopt next, then they would have a bio child. This is not a secret people. They will have a bio, and probably adopt a African or black, someone who is not African, but black child for Z.
Pax isn’t what’s driving them crazy. It is the knowledge that they are doing what they said they were going to do. One more bio baby, one more adoption. This is what is driving them stupid. Everyone probably forgot what he/she said. Or they thought it was just talk. A soccor team. They might get to a soccor team, but they will have a basketball team and will go to the Fianal Four. :):) I bet grandma and grandpa are so happy. They can’t wait to show family and friends their sons beautiful rainbow family. Next year bio baby. End of next year adopted baby. I know Brad is happy he found this baby making machine woman, even if some of the babies are adopted she is still fertile. Ohmyohmy. Haters there is not end to this, at least not for a couple of more babies. hahaha. Peace.
guli - she looks just like a doll! She’s all chubby and rosey cheeked, those big eyes! I love her little rolls on her arms!
Checked the cat food list! We have Wegmans here, they’re on the list but threw out the cans had some that wasn’t on the list. What is going on? Didn’t this happen just a couple of years ago, if not last year?

If you go back a couple of threads near the end there is a picture of the family leaving a restaurant in NO recently and Angelina is holding Shiloh. I think your ESP where Lainey is concerned too.
What a profile, so ….shoot, dare I say it, grecian? She looks like something that was carved centuries ago and I mean that as a complinent, not like she is hard looking but more like art. And Pax is,well,he is an adorable kid. :-)
Someone mentioned that Shiloh had her own magazine cover with Angie and Brad when she was born so why the big deal that Pax has his with Angie? Unless it is because the other kids besides Shiloh are in the spread, but would it be such a huge deal if Shiloh were also adopted but not included in the pics? Get real. She is just a baby and honestly it was probably easier on Angie to travel with the two older ones not to mention easier for Pax to relate to the older two than it would be with little baby Shiloh.
The whole Team Brad thing is so ridiculous as to be laughable. I told my husband what people were saying on here and he started laughing and said that even though Brad and Angie are superstars they STILL work for a living thus have to be on other people’s schedules (i.e. the studio) and he also said that anyone with kids knows that things get impossible when you throw a baby out of it’s schedule, especially when its only for a week. He’s so smart,lol, with a few words he totally trashed the haters theories,lmao!

It is so very VERY entertaining isn’t it? I lurk mostly and I swear on a stack of Gideons that if you add them up, most posts on most places where there is a Jolie thread are from those who claim to dislike her. It is a phenom how they will come out of the woodwork just to let everyone know how tired of reading about the mediawhore LOL! They say these things continually everywhere and the whole time I’m wondering if they’re aware of how dumb they make themselves look, and how stupid it sounds.
If you think about it from the “dumb & stupid” standpoint, then what they say shouldn’t really make anyone mad because it’s usually so ignorant its amusing.

Lainey had commented something like Brad saying why the critics of Angelina but not GwenS saying baby is a blob. Yep, I can see them saying why cater to those creepy people. In that same lainey thread she says that Brad is not happy to see “adopted” used as an adjective with Mad and Zee, they are all “his kids” period.
Of course Dina#1 and others who say that this is a way to control publicity for Pax’s adoption is correct. The Jolie Pitts had photos of Shi taken within a week of her birth too. Many critics were screaming about how it was too soon, how Brad and Angelina were media whores and where was Maddox in the photos and didn’t Brad and Angelina care anymore. Yet, within a few weeks, praise had come from PR professionals when they compared how the Jolie Pitts handled the huge publicity surrounding Shi and that surronding Suri. Remember that anyone? The PR professionals said that the Jolie Pitts had not put a foot wrong in the way they handled the media surrounding their relationship, their children and shi’s birth.
Now, on to this adoption. It’s on all the news - even in Asia. they have been hounded by the paps - see the article about how the press were waiting for Angelina and the kids at Hanoi airport. But while this is a game to us - “hahahaha - Angelina tricked the paps!!” the reality of trying to manage this sort of intrusive media must be exhausting. I have no doubt that Brad is not present in Vietnam for at least a few reasons. His movie, the fact that Angelina adopted as a single woman though she is clearly in an unmarried relationship - something Vietnam is aware of, of course, the possibility that Shiloh isn’t as good a traveller at 10 months compared with her siblings. At 10 months, she probably IS TEETHING and I know of parents who lose 2 nights sleep for every tooth that comes out.
I also have no doubt that Brad was fully aware and approves the decision to have this photo taken with Hello. He has described himself as a zen master. he knows how the media works having been under intense media scrutiny for more than 15 years.
I have no doubt that all these photos is part of the plan to take the pressure off Pax and the family. Perhaps, squeeze more money out of the paps. This time, photos of the Z, M and P, pay US$1.0m next time, photos of BAMPZS pay another US$1.0m. I SAY GOOD, even if the Jolie Pitts pocket the money but if they put it into their charities, even better. If the tabs have to pay extra money for the photos, why not? I have absolutely no respect for the tabs - not because they print the photos other people want to see, but because they tell the most AWFUL LIES about everyone. They are toilet scum.
it doesn’t surprise me that critics come and say - “the Jolie Pitts didn’t do it right. They should have done it this way or that way instead”. What I do find disappointing is how fans say, its too soon etc.. The truth is none of us ever have to deal with a camera in our faces, being stalked by the paps, having to send 2 planes ahead in Hanoi as decoys or having to take bodyguards whereever we go.
The truth is, no one is interested in taking a photo of us, scrutinising our adoptions and tellling absolute lies about the adoption - like US Weakly and their UNNAMED source who said that Angelina had promised a US$2.0m donation - like Angelina was STUPID to expose herself to charges of bribery when THIS ADOPTION coming in the heels of Madonna’s, if the MOST WATCHED , MOST SCRUTINISED, MOST ANALYSED adoption in History.
As for papa pitt not caring enough for his adopted children and putting them in harms way - you may me laugh. Ho chi Minh city and hanoi are MUCH MUCH SAFER than many many cities in the US. Unlike the US, there isn’t a gun culture there despite the war. I have visited Hanoi and its (a) a beautiful city - a world heritage site with intact french colonial architecture which I’m sure BRAD WOULD LOVE; and (b) pretty damn safe - I could walk around the old town even in the evening and people were really nice. I plan to re-visit this year.
I’d tell people to get off their high horses and stop judging people whose lives are so different to ours that we probably don’t have a frame of reference but I won’t. I’ll wait a few weeks when new photos of the BAMPZS family emerges - doing normal things like going to the museum etc.. And then more and more photos showing maddox and Pax in a Eastern European park with Papa Pitt kicking a ball, showing just what is happening, a family blending, learning to live and love each other. and at that time, I want to be able to say - I TOLD YOU SO.

Um, yeah I remember when Maddox wasn’t in the People spread when Shiloh was born and Zahara was. I remember all the posts saying Brad didn’t love Mad as much as Zee and Shi…and what a bad new Dad Brad was to exclude his oldest son from the ‘Here’s Shiloh’ shoot….all of those people worried about Maddox not being loved by Brad who obviously didn’t want him in a photo shoot with HIS two girls….yep I remember….oh…no-hey…NO…wait a sec….!!!….
THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN.
My mistake. I just remembered correctly NO ONE SAID WORD ONE, about MADDOX not being in those loving beautiful family shots…and they CERTAINLY did not criticize Brad for not having him there.
Haters, you are even more delusional than we already know you to be, to think that we are not being entertained by your crazy and are actually concerned at what bizarro stalkerish hate you’re spinning this week.

She is coming across as a media (you know what). All she has to do is blink and we hear about it and thats not her fault. But if she carries on with these people magazine exclusives then she can’t complain when she cannot take her kids theme parks because people are going to do whatever it takes a get photos of her and her family. If she thinks these pics will make a razzies take it easy on them, then she is very naive.
Look, I like her but I also think that maybe she might be slightly addicted to the attention. I don’t want to ref. La Lohan buuuuuuuuut! Now I’m not saying she is as bad but they both seem to thrive on it.
