OlderAngelina Jolie is a WANTED WOMAN!
Angelina Jolie will star next alongside James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman in Wanted, reports Variety.
Wanted is an action film from Universal Pictures based on a graphic novel that Timur Bekmambetov will direct.
Angelina accepted the role after the script was rewritten by Dean Georgaris (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) to tailor the character for her (script was originated by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas).
Angelina, 31, will play an assassin who trains a wanna killer (McAvoy) and will travel to Eastern Europe in May to begin shooting.
UPDATE :: Variety also reports that Brad Pitt will star in the Americanized version of the acclaimed British miniseries State of Play. Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) will direct.

I think it is a well thought out game of tag-team. They set up the bait and are trying to lure the fans in. That is a beautiful cover picture by the way. AJ and Pax are beautiful on that cover. You guys are too funny. Carry on with your bad selves. Go on with your teams. However, think about this, it does not affect or change your life one bit. You will still be a bitter, envious woman on a blog. Envious of what AJ has. The fact is AJ is one in a million. She did not trick BP. He ran gladly to her arms and I daresay you will have to pry him away. However, good luck. I know I said I was leaving but I will just reply that it’s already happened. Divide and conquer is already here. Now we get to see which side is where for the next few weeks. Should be fun.
I’m calling it a day early today due to the skittish, Barney Fife-type hysterics that some so-called fans burst into when Angelina does anything that runs counter to their views.
But before I go, where were the questions and indignations when Brad was photographed with Shiloh on-set of Benjamin Button? It’s funny that ‘fans’ didn’t insist that the pics were wrong because Angelina, Maddox and Zahara weren’t there. And the first Shiloh pics in People and h@ll, the recent NOLA pics when Maddox was noticably absent… while there were some who were bummed out that Maddox wasn’t in the pictures, the board didn’t devolve into the b^ll$h*t that we are seeing now.
Clearly, the haters have gotten to you; their needling that something is afoot has seeped into your brains and now your seepage is beginning to contaminate this board. On any given day, I am game for smoothing ruffled feathers and assuaging others’ anxieties, but not today. If you determined to drown, I will help try to drag you to safety; but if you try to pull me down with you, there’s going to be an issue.
Personally, I would prefer it if these skittish people would take a break from the board and gather their bearings, but it’s doubtful that they will. I love being here, especially when the majority has perceptive within their field their vision; I’ll see the majority tomorrow.
P.S… Lainey, who is a much more reliable source than Gawker, stated mere weeks ago that Brad and Angelina resented the press’ fixation/favorism toward Shiloh, and their prejudiced attitudes toward Maddox and Zahara or ‘the adopted ones’. I suggest that you reference that article which, again, was written prior to Angelina going to Vietnam and picking up Pax. Some are fond of referencing Lainey for all of the things she got right; she has a track record– does Gawker?
$h*t… Lainey may have something about the ‘Brangeloonie’ contingent that continues to show their skittish, wingnut heads…

Just asking, but has anyone stop to consider that by doing this shoot and presenting Pax to the public and media this might lessen the frenzy surrounding this child. By trying not to expose him to the public, press, she opens the door for the paps to want to hound her and all of her children. Remember she said that the paps frightened him. So get it out of the way. Introduce him in a controlled environment with the other children. I don’t see what the big deal is. If AJ wanted to be on the cover of a magazine she could be on any as many as she wanted to be on. When they can’t get her for a cover , they put old pictures of her on them. I think it is a smart move. I am certain she and Brad thought this through rather carefully. I know some of you will tis, tis, tis this theory and still call her names. But in the long run, even the short run, you have nothing to do with it. And if the decision has been made, you certainly can’t change. Therefore stfu. You forget these are not your children. This is not your life. I am sure if Brad didn’t think it was the right thing to do, she would not be doing it. I know some of you think he is whipped, but I for one believe he has just as much say so as she does. Peace.

I use to be Angelina Jolies’ #1 fan, but all this posts if true about a cover already makes me lose all respect I had for Ms. Jolie. This looks more like publicity stunt then a family move- I wonder if Brad agrees. I seem to think maybe not.

Why are some of you inconsistent..
1.) Namibia Photoshot - Angelina did a Shiloh and Zahara photoshoot with People…no Maddox. How come no one said anything back then.
2.) NOLA - Brad and Shiloh - no Maddox and Zahara and they were in NOLA at the time.
Has it ever occurred to some of you that you do not see all pictures. I believe some of you haters/doubters are of the mindframe that Jolie is manipulating you all. She is trying to outwit all of you.
There are 2 scoops that have been reported in which we learn that BOTH BRAD AND ANGELINA are MAD at the way the media treats MADDOX&ZAHARA vs SHILOH. They mentioned the blob issue and Brad was heard saying why do people say we are adopting too soon - “we got pregnant less than a year after adopting Zahara but no one protested about that but now that we are adopting another kids…(also shy of a year)..people are complaining” Is it because it of Shiloh or the adoption.
