OlderAngelina Jolie is a WANTED WOMAN!
Angelina Jolie will star next alongside James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman in Wanted, reports Variety.
Wanted is an action film from Universal Pictures based on a graphic novel that Timur Bekmambetov will direct.
Angelina accepted the role after the script was rewritten by Dean Georgaris (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) to tailor the character for her (script was originated by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas).
Angelina, 31, will play an assassin who trains a wanna killer (McAvoy) and will travel to Eastern Europe in May to begin shooting.
UPDATE :: Variety also reports that Brad Pitt will star in the Americanized version of the acclaimed British miniseries State of Play. Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) will direct.

Because people actually think that they get a vote. Yes, we fans go on about whether they should adopt, how many biological children they should have, what sex the child(ren) should be, but I doubt that any of us believe that we have a say. It is a fantasy, and yes, it can be fun, but ultimately, we really don’t have a say nor the right to be disappointed if our fantasy or dream for them doesn’t come true.

According to Variety, Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep are Wanted women.
The two have attached to Sheldon Turner’s upcoming adaptation of Kim Wozencraft’s novel “Wanted.”
Wozencraft is a former undercover narcotics agent best known for having penned Rush, the novel that became MGM’s 1991 Jason Patric and Jennifer Jason Leigh pic of the same name.
In Wozencraft’s “Wanted,” a female cop (Aniston) in Texas is framed for narcotics trafficking and sent to prison. Her cellmate is a war protester (Streep) who’s renounced violence, and the two plot an escape.
No helmer is yet attached to the pic.

I’m at work and didn’t have a chance to research it or read it closely. Imagine both of them in movies named the same. Mmmm. This should be interesting.
Eastern Euope? Fabulous! A whole different vibe than Western Europe. Hopefully she will go to Hungary, Czech Republic or Russia to shoot. No doubt the paps will be there still but it’s a different experience. The whole family will be on the move again. Why don’t people realize that Brad & Angelina provide stability for their children by being with them and having the same routines all the time anywhere they travel? Bedtime at 8 is the same anywhere in the world. Cereal breakfast at 7 am is the same anywhere in the world. Lunch time, playtime, and Brad spending time before each child goes to sleep stays the same no matter where they are in the world. Stability means establishing a routine and sticking with it wherever you are. Instability can mean living in one area but changing up routines on a whim, inconsistent bedtimes, meala times. naps, strange new faces in your core family, etc….

[Kevin] Macdonald, who has been working with Carnahan on a new draft, passed muster with Pitt not only because the actor liked his docu “Touching the Void” and “The Last King of Scotland,” but also because Macdonald has been working with Pitt’s Plan B to develop “True Story” at Paramount.
That film is an adaptation of a memoir by Michael Finkel, a New York Times writer who was disgraced when he faked a story about child slave labor in Africa, and then tried to redeem himself by cultivating a dialogue with a murderer who’d used the journalist’s identity before he was arrested.
I’m glad Angie has been able to continue to marry all her sides together - mom, partner, humanitarian, actress, foundation head, model, fashion face and director, daughter/sister-in-law, sister, friend, film director, writer, involved-citizen.
As here, she continues to prove.
They are really trying to get as many of the kids together so that they can take advantage of the nomadic life while the babies are still very young and can be home-schooled. Later on, these kids will be requiring more structure and mean less movement or more one-partner at a time movement.
I feel for those families that have one parent having to be gone most weeks because their jobs require them to travel constantly and only see the parent on the weekends…Traveling salesman, consultants, airline pilots/stewardesses.
Pitt and Jolie must be challenging each other constantly and their scheduler must be having quite a workout!
