SHOWER CAPS? FO’ SHIZZLE!
Rapper Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Broadus show off their fashion forwardness donning most interesting head gear as they arrive at Gotel Scribe in Paris, Fracce on Tuesday morning.
Could Snoop Dogg be sporting the latest fashion trend in Hollywood? Methinks not!
Touring mates Snoop Dogg and Diddy recently branded themselves “the best heroes for kids”.
Snoop said, “I think [Diddy and I are] the best heroes for kids. We been through everything in music and in life. We give kids the best example to deal with everything.”
Diddy adds, “A lot of role models have not been through trials and tribulations. You got to judge a champion by how he get up when he been knocked down.”

TL Croft…I really did enjoy your exhibit of questions and puissant points on this matter.
I like social studies.
Even on a shower cap.
Says a lot about who we are and how and why we label things and people.
The relaxer question: coming from a girl with straight hair, can’t really say much on this except I though do rags were more to keep a certain do in place.
I am not sure the “origin” of the shower cap thing.
I think it comes from the “jheri curl” phenomenon where caps were used to maintain the curls - some men wear those caps in public.
Snoop does not have a jheri curl so he is doing it to be Snoop and to remind everyone he is still keeping it “real” - in his mind.
I used to volunteer teach in South Central and the kids used to tease me a great deal for not knowing these things, but several of the girls did give me a braiding class and now I know how to do a mean cornrow but you don’t need a shower cap to maintain a cornrow just a head wrap.
Also, I saw very very few people in the neighborhood I taught in with shower caps - it was usually the comedian or trickster who’d wear a shower cap - most men I met were very serious about looking super duper “clean” (well dressed).

OMG, this is WHERE THE FRENCH SAYING “STUPIDE AMERICIANE” comes from. I for one will never ever even walk around in Paris with JEANS on, nor SNEAKERS. People should understand that One should not look like a SCHALUB when traveling to other Countries!
