OlderBrad & Angelina’s $100K Donation
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $100,000 to help build the first modern medical facility in Duk County, Sudan called “The Duk Lost Boys Clinic.”
The donation was mad through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation and will go directly to to Direct Change, a nonprofit that raises financial support for grassroots projects in Africa.
Said John Dau, the Director of Direct Change’s Sudan Project, “Words cannot express my gratitude and gratitude of the people of Duk County Sudan. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt demonstrate the American spirit of generosity. Hopefully, their donation will inspire others to join with us to rebuild southern Sudan.”
Dau’s story was featured in the documentary God Grew Tired of Us, which Brad executive produced. The facility is scheduled to open later this spring and serve upwards of 150,000 people.
In adoptions news… Brad and Angelina will reportedly earn $2.3 million for photographs of their newly adopted son, Pax. The couple earned a reported $4.7 million for photographs of of daughter Shiloh just after she was born.

I don’t believe the 2 million either.
The money that BP and AJ received via photos, their own donations goes into the
Jolie-Pitt foundation and from there the donations are distributed to various charities. Some charites, depending on the amount needed will get $100,000 or other charities will get more. The point is, all the money that has been announced/confirmed has gone into this foundation and I am sure that we will hear through various organizations’ Press releases of many more such contributions as we have in the past. I admire them for being devoted
humantarians and I wish BAMPZS all the best.

Wonderful news! :)
They continually give not just to one person, they appropriate monies to their different charities. If only one person annouces what he received and others are quiet about what they received, you cannot judge the total money they give out, therefore saying thank you is good enough. I’ll rather focus on the causes of their charities and what needs to be done than whine and complain about what someone else is doing, because they are doing it.

Jolie-Pitt’s are once again doing something to save someone life and for me that is better than the *** for tat, IMO!

i have no problem with 100k, although i still think its far too small for the 2 million they got from the pic of pham, i have problem will celeb who does always feel the need TO BROADCAST every donation they give specially in the middle of tons of negative publicities. Real givers are just MUM about what they give, they dont like to publicize it just to get a ‘’pat in the back’’.

Its funny how people can complain about how much money she is donating, when they have donated $0. she is probably splitting the money amongst other foundations.
