While I agree that the eventual break-up will be interesting to follow, I do think that it will be just as interesting to see them try to defy the odds to be this unique globe trotting, movie making, totally in love with each other iconic family that re-defines what it is to be a family and a celebrity and cool and philanthropic.

I could go either way.

As long as we’re speaking hypothetically — a break-up wouldn’t be interesting to me in the slightest. It would be sad and disheartening for all concerned. The main component that would make it NOT interesting, is the fact that it would be amicable. Brad respects Angie, and Angie respects Brad and they would never hurt each other intentionally - and their priority would always be their children, and having an amicable and even loving relationship for them. So in that way, you wouldn’t have a ‘WAR’ like you did with Maniston, with Angelina (or Brad) tattling on former partners, using friends to malign and slur, and playing the victim. Everything that essentially kept Maniston in the public eye for two years after the divorce, neither Brad or Angelina would be tacky, selfish and cruel enough to do. They are good, and honest people at the end of the day, unlike Maniston. That is why NY Pundit’s fantasy ‘implosion’ wouldn’t even be interesting — it would be similar to the Reese & Ryan break-up IMO; sad but with both parties wishing each other well, moving on and never saying a bad word about the other. The tabloids tried to get Reese to pull a Maniston, and tried to egg Ryan on, but like Brad, “they aren’t playing,” so the rags have given up and the breakup is over and done…no two year whine fest and pity party for Reese & Ryan. That’s the diff between Maniston and two people who once TRULY cared for and loved each other - who want what’s best for their kids and each other. Maniston could have given a f**k about Brad after in her mind, he could no longer serve her purposes. That’s why she through him to the wolves, and trashed him. Reese apparently is with Jake Gyllenhal now. Ryan is doing fine. They have moved on. There really was/is nothing to see. The rags aren’t even covering it anymore. Brad & Angelina would most likely take the high road - as they are good, honest people. Maniston was not. Brad found that out. That makes for a salacious tabloid loving ‘interesting’ and ‘appealing’ split when you have one person stabbing the other in the back. When you don’t. You have class and people that can remain friends and wish each other well.

Now, my hypothetical on NY Putrid’s fantasy is over - and I have one thing to say…

The pictures are not of Angelina and Pax. They are of a Vietnamese (or Southeast Asian woman whose typical features include large double lid eyes) and a boy. Look carefully and you’ll find that her hair is black, her limbs are thicker than Angelina and are typically shorter like most Asians’. The boy is older and also heavier in fram than Pax. You got fooled!

Frankly speaking, I don’t even know what happens yesterday. I think the in fighting that happens in almost every thread needs to stop. Oftentimes the infighting among BAMPZSER who for whatever reason loses their cool with someone else is worse than the nasty trolls some of the time.

i also felt sorry for ANS. i also feel that, not being that well-educated has hurt her (to a certain extent) decision making in all aspects of her life. it’s unfortunate she doent have good parents, siblings who can keep her stay grounded and whom she can draw for advice.

You know Stern will try to taint the dna tests. It is a shame that Anna died and left Stern an innocent little girl to exploit, like he exploited Anna. It is really a shame.

BCBG…Stern is not required to take a DNA swab because he is “presumed” under the birth certificate according to Bahamian law to be the father. However if Birkhead’s DNA matches Danielynn’s swab, that will automatically eliminate Stern as the father. If Birhead’s DNA is not a match, then they will check the DNA of all the other possible “contestants” for a match. If none of those match, then Stern will be required to submit his DNA only if someone else, probably ANS’s mother legally pushes for it.
Re: if Stern places his finger in the baby’s mouth then his mouth, unless the swab is taken immediately after he does that, his own natural saliva will wash away her saliva. Epithelial tissue especially in the mouth is constantly sloughed off and replaced with the next layer of epithelial tissue; saliva is also replaced constantly so placing saliva from Danielynn into his mouth won’t work. When they swab they swab a wide area and he would have to have enough of Danielynn’s saliva to basically cover a good portion of his mouth and not swallow.

Also these tests are based on the likelihood of sharing genetic markers. Genetic markers from specific regions of the human genome has to match the father’s genetic markers from the same specific regions. Most good labs test 16 genetic markers and although it is highly unlikely that all 16 will be a match, the probability of fatherhood is greater with the greatest number of genetic markers matching. BTW lab analysis can determine if a particular swab contains DNA from other independent individuals.
Because of the notoriety of this case, the lab technician will swab Stern and the baby in separate rooms so the chances of contamination is less i.e. Stern can’t bring in his own swab or Danielynn’s swab. If he contaminates his DNA sample, they will just require him to redo the swab samples. It is very difficult to taint and even if one tried, on a retest different reagents and controls are used, if the lab results keep showing inconsistencies, suspicions arise.

I have to say I don’t think that is Angie/Pax in those little pix. Altho’ the old Shark Tale era smilin’ Jolie is sweet in its own right. I change my desktop pix every week– alternating between my own family fotos and JP fotos. This week it is Miss Zee and her new bro at poolside. I have things I love about all the JPs, but I must say that she is my fave. I love this foto where she seems to be at least admitting the possibility of sharing with Pax. As we know from recent fotos, she does not seem inclined to share her snax with little Shi. Of course, Shi is teething and so her hands may be kind of moist and drooly — and Miss Zee is at that fastidious age. (one of my nieces completely balked at even the suggestion of dirt at that age). I love her fine motor coordination as she picks out just the nibbly that she desires.

If you have read my posts, you know that I came to this party as a stone AJ fan. But I will say that this week I have been thinking a lot about Daddy Braddy, how he must have been dying waiting for his ‘peeps’ to make it back. I think it was sweet that he had the Shi with him so he wouldn’t have to come into an empty house after work (imagine how quiet it must have been without Zahara and Mad). But this is the guy who rushes home to see his kids and his woman, who greet him with warmth and love. I imagine that he was crawling out of his skin to meet his new son, really meet him, and to let Pax sound him out — It must be hard to be the second wave, although i think it was wise not to overwhelm the kid with family in the first days. And I am sure he missed number 1 son and number 1 daughter. Emphatically I am sure that he missed his woman. It must be great to have a partner who can ‘get it done’, but that probably makes it all the sweeter to be able to be together and to get it done as a unit.

So I send out particular love this weekend to BP and hope that he is loving every minute of his family reunion.

BCBG- No, when you do a DNA test they first photograpgh you, then they hand you a swab and they watch you swab the inside cheek, you then do it 2 more times. They then put them in sterile bags and you place the seal on the bag and initial it. When it gets to the lab they have 2 people witness the technician open it. They know if one or more persons DNA is on a swab. They test the mother, alleged father and child and the baby’s DNA will line up with the moms and if the male is the father it will line up too. You can see all the markers and what matches who.

No need for a new thread, there’s no news with the Jolie Pitts and ANS is news right now, why can’t we have a discussion about her here? Personally, I enjoy all the different points of view on this issue.

Oddly enough - some of the stuff said in the tabloid interview sounds like what could have gone on in the home - the begging Voight for money, and Jamine not having a car, the drive for Angelina to be independently wealthy, the way Voight oppressed Marcheline…true these are no great leaps to make if you know some of their background from reports and interviews that Angelina has done — but overall, I’m surprised how much it does sound like what James could have said (except for the eating part - James wouldn’t go there with a tab).

To the first commentor, Guillermo: Why do we care? Maybe we all need some inspiration. Perhaps the Vietnamese photog, Do Minh Thuy, was simply given an opportunity to get some serious income for his family. Jolie has never strived for personal wealth, although she has actualized it. We know nothing of the arrangements made, unless the JPs authorize that information. Everyone conjectures, and everyone assumes. I only wonder why people don’t awe and respect for someone who walks the walk rather than just talks it. AJ simply follows her heart, and shouldn’t we all? Why so much criticism when such compassionate acts should be admired. Maybe just the cynics in all of us. Nobody benefited from the photos of those first days of bonding except us. We got to witness the genesis of brotherhood at its purest. Too bad it’s been trivialized.

Angelina haters - would like to believe that James did an interview with a tabloid(Daily Mirror UK) - an act that his sister is currently NOT PRACTICING AT ALL COST HERE IN THE USA. She is PURPOSEFULLY GIVING People magazine EXCLUSIVE pictures. She and Brad DENIED tabloids ACCESS to their press calls last year. Hmm..sounds like a woman who loves tabloids. NOT.

Coal, I had a good dinner and only had 2 martinis at the lounge. I just wanted to chill and that is exactly what I did last night. Got home 2′ish am and went straight to bed!:) I was online this morning and was looking for ya. While, I wasn’t online last night, I saw lots of haters bashing and ranting me after I back tracked the previous thread..hehehe. Whatever to them!:)

Coal, it is sad your dad is gone, but i am glad to hear your family is closer than ever! Work hasn’t slowed me down, in fact, I am more busy. Next week, will be a busy week for me as well. That is why, I am trying to enjoy this weekend. I went to Tysons Corner to try and shop for a suit pants, but I ended up window shopping!:) I went into H&M, but too crowded so I left. I will try again next weekend…..hehehe.

What is Tysons’ Corner?

I live in Northern, VA. Tysons Corner Mall and Pentagon City Mall are the two famous malls in Virginia. It is expensive, but I can only afford to go to stores like H&M, Victoria Secret, Bebe, BCBG, Mexx, Bananna Republic, JCrew and Max Studio!:) And only when it’s on sale…hehehe
