Nicole & Keith Don’t Look ‘Distracted’
Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban look happier than ever together, holding hands and walking into the world premiere of Distracted starring Rita Wilson at the Mark Taper Forum on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.
Nicole is expected to arrive in Sydney, Australia next week for pre-production on her new film Australia. Her co-star Hugh Jackman is already in town.
Keith recently opened up to UK’s The Sunday Telegraph:
- On wanting children of his own:”I am looking forward to fatherhood. I have always wanted to be a good dad. My brother’s got two kids and he’s an excellent dad and I think we both have that sense of being home and being solid family guys.
- On being a stepfather to Nicole’s two adopted kids, Isabella and Connor: “I don’t get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship.”
- On turning 40 in October: “It feels just right. I don’t feel what I thought that wretched age was going to be like. I have done a lot of things and it has been full up to this point, especially the last few years, so I am grateful for that.”
- On his marriage to Nicole: As far as being a married man, it is the best thing I have ever done. And it is not just about being married; to me, it is about being married to her, to that woman because she has just saved my life — absolutely saved it. Everything happens for a reason so the timing of that (rehab) was divinely inspired.”
- On being forced to cut short their January holiday on the NSW South Coast in after a run in with Australian paparazzi: “Because Nic and I are so private, it tends to make people want to see what that privacy is really all about. If we were plastered in the magazines all the time and sort of got pictures willingly, it would wear off and probably people wouldn’t want them so much. The fact that we actually go out of our way to be a bit more elusive tends to exacerbate the situation but I would just rather have a more quiet life, like we do. It is relatively quiet compared to most, I think.”

You should not look to celebrities for their charity work. They are actors & musicians first, NEVER forget that. Everything else is extra and everyone and their grandmother does the extra charity work.
If this is Keith’s look of “happier than ever”, he must of been pretty sad lately. Personally, I’ve seen him a lot happier looking and those were all in pictures of him prior to marrying that thing he’s holding on to.
Nicole saved him from being unknown in Australia, that’s it. And she’d have to see her children once in a while before he could.
And they do tip the paps. They tip them in beer. (see “private” wedding)

Why does she always look down? She’s been doing this for 15 years now and she always held her head up when she was with Tom. Now she’s suddenly shy? Pleeze! You’d think a couple who wants privacy so much would spend more time alone at their house or with friends and not always at concerts and movies and restaurants and big boats, waving at the photographers.
Anybody who believes this is anymore than a Hollywood hookup is plain stupid.

KU a nobody?? My a-s!! He may not have the same amount of $Mils as TC or NK, but he is a millionaire just the same, he’s won awards in country music, can sing and do have a large fan base. If you say he’s lame, then you have a very shallow idea of an ideal relationship.
And if you think that being in a controled and dominating relationship is better, you are in for a rude awakening if ever you are in one. That is an obsessive relationship! Yeah, Necole have been at one time in love with TC, but thank God she woke up from that trance. KH may have gain popularity due to TC, but happy - I doubt it. Right now the money is doing the talking and blinding. Give it a few years, and either she wakes up, or just plain become a Stefford housewife.
Also, as I said, which you cannot ignore, KU is overcoming his habit. It takes a big man to face his demons, and put credit where credit is due - to Nicole.
And thank you Jared for posting them. I have high hopes this two will prove the naysayers wrong, and will live happily ever after, even when they eventually drop out of the limelight and get to live the private quiet life Keith hopes for.
I think that Keith is a nice chap though I don’t know anything about his music. Addictions aside, he just looks like a normal, decent and nice guy. I agree, definitely a better choice than GMD. I’m not sure why he married her though and so quickly after they started going out (not to be outdone by TomKat over-the-top media coverage?). She dated Q-tip and Lenny Kravitz before him. Compared to them, Keith is a step up too but then it seems to me like she dates musicians to get that cool and hip factor she clearly lacks. I hope they’re happy but I think she’s definitely weird and was probably screwed up by years of dealing with Tom and his insanity. She used to be so gorgeous, healthy-looking and outgoing.
We are soooo sick of the coy Nicole, looking down as if she doesn’t want to be photographed.

The millions that Keith earned prior to Nicole were thanks to Country Music, a genre of which Keith has “moved on” from.
Oh - and in Nashville - Keith’s hardly known as a family man!
Pottymouth, that is untrue. KU was in Nashville at the end of February. He has a private concert for some of his fans. Apparently you were not invited. HA!
Keith has not moved on from Country Music..obviously you kow nothing about him. His song once in a lifetime was the highest single debut in country music history and that was late last year. His latest album has already gone platinum and he has two songs in the top 20 and just released a new song last week. Get your facts straight

Keith’s representative in Australia said THIS WEEK to the media that Keith has MOVED ON from country music.
Oh and that highest debuting album? It dropped 15 spots to #51 on the Billboard 200 this week. Not the country chart, but the regular, pop/rock CROSSOVER chart.

Because Heaven knows it’s all about Nicole. It’s not KEITH that should take the credit for facing his demons. If it weren’t for Nicole, he’d just be another womanizing, drunk musician.

what can I say, just saying that at least no one’s jumping on Oprah’s expensive and lavish couch.
This couple is trying to get some quality time together enjoying a play as I understand it from CMT’s website. Although it’s not a premier, Nicole you need to look up and be respectful for your fans that do want to see your face. I for one, do not care about seeing you - but your press coverage gives me lots of pictures of Keith to look at. Just try to look like you’re enjoying yourself for a change with your husband Mr. Urban. Your famous, you should have gotten used to photographers in your face a long time ago. Keith shouldn’t have to lead you around like a lost puppy.
Keith looks good I saw some pics from 2 weeks ago and he was dressed like Tom! He looks more like himself here, And nic’s hair what’s that about , She looks better when her hairdresser take the Chi to it.
And I give Keith credit for telling the truth about nic being at best a part-time mom.
I saw the video that these photos were taken from on Extra and both Keith and Nicole looked happy and were in good spirits. Keith even said, “Thanks guys” to somebody. Couldn’t tell who. Nicole looked happy and her head wasn’t down that much. You can’t judge people by the photos the paps choose to put out there because they take hundreds of photos and use the ones that they think will cause the most controversy. Also, I don’t blame NK if she is trying to keep the paps from getting a good photo of her to sell to put money in their pockets.
