Why bother? Re read what you wrote below. That’s a lot of time. Wow! Couple of screws missing maybe. Plus isn’t that some kind of theft to sit in a store and read the magazines without paying for them. Seriously, why bother?

Okay…folks, here’s the deal with this tabloid report…On average, it takes about 3 hours to read the mags and take notes. It then takes 4 or 5 hours to type it all up and come up with those pithy little sidebars. That’s 8 hours each weekend. That’s the AVERAGE. Most weeks not all the tabs have more than 1 or 2 page stories with a bunch of photos. This week Star and Us both had 4 or 5 pages dedicated to the adoption. NE, L&S, and OuttaTouch had 2 pages, OK! had 3 pages. It took me 5 hours just to read the mags and take notes. It then took me another 7 hours to come up with all the comments. Now bear in mind…I WORK FOR A LIVING, which means that I have to run my errands and do laundry, etc., on weekends. Occasionally I like to pretend to have a life and maybe go to the movie or some other entertainment on the weekends (this week it was USA’s House marathon that sidetracked me and dammit, I’m a sucker for Hugh Laurie!). And sometimes, just for sh#ts and grins…I like to eat and go to the bathroom and bathe. Added to these things is the fact that these suckers are getting harder and harder to stomache. And then there’s the biggest problem of all…I am a world class procratinator. Hell, Webster’s probably has my picture in their dictionary as the definition of the word. You see this woman? SHE is “procratinator”. Ergo…it’s Wednesday and I’m just now finishing the tab report. The end.

You know, today I’ve been looking at blog after blog on this movie that say absolutely nothing! They all offer a few pics or you-tube links and nothing much further. Your’s is not really an exception, but your commenters have stepped up and kept it alive for you. Kudos to them. To you, would you mind writing more next time?
