They are working around her schedule because they WANT Angelina in the film. Star Power bb.
++++++++++++
I agree, both of them know their schedules better than any of us. Just like after Brad finished his part on Ocean’s 13 they went to india to film AMH. Now, is the same, the moment Brad ends with BB they will fly to Prague.

Recall November 2006 when a certain obnoxious person started posting ‘positive’ BAMZS stories. That person, whom we all know, eventually went ape$h*t after a while, so don’t get too comfortable, people.

hi sheri and all bampzs

DO you forget that he still has to shoot in Montreal in May?

Dear, dear PT,

I know writing on a deadline can be pretty boring.
I know the subject is very dreary.
I know you must be tired of reading drivel.

But this is a matter of public service.

Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase, do post your magnificent report on the week’s tabloids.

:)

Oh piper, piper, piper. Why don’t you admit that you miss her. Go ahead…admit it. It’s ok. She gave you purpose and meaning in your life. It’s ok to admit it. Or is it that your 33 (and counting) and set in your ways that you can’t be open to new ideas of humility and honesty?

Hey Susie, since I have five links its in moderation but they will appear soon. Also, you can expand themm as well.

Sheri—I wish I could have been here too. But I won’t see my son probably till Easter so I wanted to go along with hubby and him. Plus eventhough he is 20,I organize his dorm room, make his bed put his clothes away. I know , he can do that but it makes me feel good. They grew up on me too fast :-(

wow…where did you find this obscure website? I’m in love with you, I think I love you, you’re the greatest, you are one of my heroines. I never should have let that article and those photos slip by me when I first came across it, but thankfully people like you, Websurfer, Guli, Oh Please, QQQQ and others are more resourceful than I am and are kind enough to share. One of the many reasons I just love this forum. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the sand dunes, I’d be interested too. I’ve only started collecting Jolie-Pitt pictures on my computer so I’m way behind the game. Again thank you so much.

thanks susie i will check it up.

First and Last Post- you are welcome. This is one of the many things that make this site so fun. I used to have the gorgeous sand dune pics but I can’t find them. I have started saving all the great links I get here so if someone asks for it I can help. I learned this from Guli. :) :)

Where’s Leetle UN and her lovely posts? I miss your knowledge and you made JJ’s a very informative place to learn about Vietnamese adoptions. Hope you will post again.

Hi Bettina:

I am still around, just very very busy. Also, to be honest, I was really put off when Jared posted Pax’s adoption papers.

Then when I learned Jared had just turned 25 I had quite an “Oh My God” moment: I’m old enough to be his mother. And I would not have been a teen mother either. So I was thinking I am too old for posting on this board. But I may still lurk once in awhile and jump in if I have something to add.

OK, my kiddies want dinner now and partner needs to check his email.

++++++

Of course you’re not too old for posting on this board.

1. Nobody is too old for posting here.

2. If I remember right , we even have some wonderful posters who could be Jared’s grandmothers.

3. And there are also plenty of posters with grown-up kids.

4. Also, an healthy mix of young people.

That’s the beauty of JJ and of B&A admirers: people of all ages, from all over the world and with different experiences to share.

Always found your posts very interesting and level-headed. Please keep posting as much as your busy life allows.

Frenemies Forever in the Game of Fame

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are best friends who played best friends on “Friends,” so it should be fun to see them reunited as enemies on tonight’s season finale of “Dirt” on FX.

It isn’t. And there is a lesson in these two famous women’s strangely bland performances.

Hollywood, as painted in “Dirt,” is a sordid world of sex, privilege, Faustian bargains and betrayal; for the movie stars who are hounded by paparazzi, fame is fleeting. Ms. Aniston and Ms. Cox, who have their own experience dealing with pesky photographers, suggest that it can be lasting, as long as celebrities cling to the look that made them famous and take no artistic risks.

It used to be that sex symbols sought a second act by taking on roles that defied their beauty: Elizabeth Taylor in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” or Farrah Fawcett as a battered wife in “The Burning Bed.” Nowadays almost no actresses over the age of 30 want to risk looking less than perfect. (Charlize Theron was 28 when she played a serial killer in “Monster.”)

Ms. Cox and Ms. Aniston’s prettiness is perfectly, almost eerily, preserved, but their personalities are frozen. It’s not just that their faces lack expression; both actresses seem to have lost interest in acting.

“Dirt” revels in the excesses and career-shattering gambles of show business. If Ms. Cox and Ms. Aniston are any indication, the industry is actually as spontaneous and frisky as a fertility clinic.

“Dirt” exposes an outdated dark side of show business — sex, drugs and sinful self-indulgence. Today’s reality of botox, liposuction and colonic irrigation is underexplored.

Playing Lucy Spiller, a predatory, ruthless editor of a gossip magazine, Ms. Cox has steamy sex scenes, but no sizzle or interesting flaws. And it’s too bad because “Dirt,” which Ms. Cox produced with her husband, David Arquette, has had intriguing elements and characters, in particular Don Konkey (Ian Hart), a celebrity-stalking photographer and functioning schizophrenic who hallucinates and hears voices.

Lucy is modeled on Bonnie Fuller, who is credited with spicing up first Us Weekly and now Star magazine. When one of Lucy’s cub reporters, a seductive Eve Harrington type, steps out of line, Lucy punishes her by forcing her to interview all the cast members of all 18 seasons of the MTV reality show “Real World.”

Throughout the series Lucy seduces, schemes, lies, blackmails and abuses celebrities and employees without verve, vivacity or even relish.

It’s a problem, because anyone devoted to movie-star gossip must have some deep-rooted need to punish and reward the famous and leech their glamour. Played as either psychotic or pathetic, the lead character could be as compelling as those on more successful FX series, like “Rescue Me” and “Nip/Tuck.”

Ms. Cox delivers all lines, even campy insults, in the same pleasant monotone.

“Is it ‘Bring a Jackal to Work Day’? ” Lucy says when she sees Tina Harrod (Ms. Aniston), her longtime frenemy and editor of a rival gossip magazine in her office.

Tina fights fire with fake warmth, calling Lucy “sweetie” and mixing solicitude with salacious innuendo. (They kiss on the lips, but briskly.) The finale, which ties up loose ends with over-the-top drama, should be a blast. Yet like Ms. Cox, Ms. Aniston seems to be sleepwalking through her part, not so much enjoying it as enduring it.

And that may be the real problem with the paparazzi-fueled culture of celebrity gossip and tabloid exposés. Actors and particularly actresses who spend their careers dodging prying telephoto lenses and parceling out their private lives to magazines and shows like “Entertainment Tonight” harden. They keep their figures whippet-thin and their careers on track, but they surrender the natural charm that won them fame in the first place.

Hey Susie, its still in moderation (post#354). I’ll give you a few one by one. Poor JJ has been busy cleaning up the thread ;-)

I feel sad for the children Pax not going to a good home who will be forgotten once the publicity has died down (come to think of it they have not been mentioned by media or fans. No-one to hold up their pictures and say lovely things about them. I’m sure this is something AJ won’t forget. I guess her aim in adopting from places such as this orphanage is to shed light on it but unfortunately, as with all the other places she wants to bring attention to people are more fascinated with her than her good deeds. This must sadden her. She is the only actor worth bothering about.
