Is Brad trying to say “every three seconds” or “every two seconds”?? It’s not clear. They should have given him an easier three words or worked harder with him; should have shot it a few more times til it was clear. Zwei and Drei are not easy for beginners.

Ich have acht Jarhe in Deutscland gelebt–in Freiburg, danoch Dresden (hinter der Mauer in 1984….ich war 1 1/2 Jarhe lang die einzige Amerikanerin in Dresden; war enlgisch Lehrerin auf der TU. Kennst du Dresden?), und dann Berlin (1990-1995).

Brad spricht nicht deutlich, oder meine Ohren werden alt (habe das Video zwei Mal angeheort), was auch moeglich ist.

Aber mach Dir keine Sorgen. Er murmurt auch in englischen Filmen. Arikulation ist nicht seine Staerke. Guck dir mal den Film “Fight Club” mit Edward Norton an; verglieche den beiden. Es ist wie Tag und Nacht. Edward Norton kann man verstehen; Brad wohl nicht so gut. Es gehoert zu seinem “Tough Guy” Image, aber die Artikulation leidet darunter, obwohl andere Touch maenner…..Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, haben deutlicher ausgeprochen.

Zweiter Tippfehler: “andere TOUGH Maenner,” nicht “TOUCH.” Sorry nochmals.

Dritte und vierte Tippfehler: “verglieche” und “englisch”

Eigentlich muesste ich langamer tippen, aber auf Arbeit sollte ich eigentlich ueberhaupt nicht hier schreben……deswegen die Hetze.

German is beautiful and Germany was home to some of the best writers and thinkers and scientists and musicians ever in the Western world. Plus they take seriously their role as developed country trying to make the developing world better, while we spend money on war in Iraq. Good for them to do this.
