Celebrities Fight Poverty… in German
Celebrities continue in the worldwide fight against poverty in the German “Your Voice Against Poverty” commercial that was shown during the G8 Summit in Germany.
(The Group of Eight (G8) is an international forum for the governments of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.)
In the black-and-white commercial, 21 celebrities appear and speak German including Bono, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Penelope Cruz, Antonio Banderas, Claudia Schiffer, and miscellaneous German celebrities.

Susie- oh no, you have a tree that is down?…goodness, I hope there is not too much damages. So you have to wait until Monday for the gardener to come and cut the tree for you? or can you call them in now. My cousin in Florida also had 2 large trees crashing down during the hurrican last year, but both missed the roof by couple of feet. It was a big mess, they have to wait for 3 weeks before they can get someone to come out to cut them into junk and almost 2 months to clean up everything.
Life & Style, on the other hand, has a much more movie-ready story. They’re claiming that a gang was planning to kidnap Pax and hold him for ransom with a threat of death if the movie stars didn’t pay up. We can understand why the magazines want Brad and Angie on their covers but isn’t there anything else going on in Hollywood? At this point we’re betting Brad and Angie are experts at letting all these entertaining stories roll off their backs.

US journalism students to investigate Pearl murder
Washington/Lahore, March 28: The murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan will be the subject of an investigative journalism seminar being planned by Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies.
At least two films are being made on Pearl, one by an expatriate Pakistani and the other being produced by Hollywood star Brad Pitt and starring Angelina Jolie.
Denied permission to shoot in Pakistan, Jolie and Pitt last year spent several weeks in Pune and other locations in India to complete their project.

I’ll like to thank the fans for shunning the made up lies in the tabloids and promoting a positive thread. The amazing thing is that once anyone makes up a story, other new outlets do not bother to check for the truth, they just copy the lies and produce them in various forms, thus it looks like a bad day in the media. I think people should be more concern about this.

Angelina Jolie recently announced, to much fanfare, that she would be a stay-at-home mom. “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life,” Jolie told the Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper on March 16. “I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for the moment.”
So it came as a surprise four days later when Variety reported that the Oscar winner had signed up to play an assassin in Wanted, which is set to begin shooting in April in Prague.
Even more bewildering was Jolie, 31, showing up in Chicago on March 23 for screen tests on Wanted.
The fact that Jolie was anywhere but at home with her family was odd. Just eight days earlier, the actress had picked up her newly adopted son, Pax, from a Vietnam orphanage.
But, despite what she told the Vietnamese newspaper, the mother-of-four does not appear to be slowing down any time soon. She’s also slated to star in Atlas Shrugged and The Changeling, which is preparing a fall start.
“That does seem like a heavy workload for someone with a large family,” Christine Adamec, author of Is Adoption for You?, tells Us.
Adds L.A.-area early-development psychologist Marcy Axness: “Children thrive on predictability, continuity, security and rhythm in their daily life.”
That’s not the only about-face Jolie has made recently. The day Jolie picked up Pax at the orphanage, where paparazzi swarmed, she said, “Photographs make him upset.I’m sorry for bringing this into his life.”
And yet, just days after picking up Pax, Jolie staged photos of herself, Zahara, Maddox and Pax and sold them to the U.K.’s Hello! magazine and People magazine.

truth Says: It has been going on so long that it really is pathetic, but in the long run it’s going to be the tabloids with all their lies are going to lose. IMO, they are an endagered species on the extinction list. When it is all over , there will be People, Vouge, arghhhh, I hate to say it but VF that will be around..Of course, I am not talking about Newsweek , Times etc , those are different class….

US MAG has got some balls, don’t they? I mean, why aren’t they embarassed yet that the crap they keep printing about the JPs keeps coming back to haunt them? They are constantly being proven wrong about this family and yet they keep trying to say Brad & Angie are unstable. I don’t get it. I know drama sells but are there seriously THAT many people in the world that read tabs and want this family to split?? It’s agrravating.
Anyway…hubby & I took our two kiddies to a carnival last night and as I was standing by watching my hubby and daughter trying to knock over milk bottles (seriously, what’s the trick??) I overheard two carnies talking about Brad & Angie!!!! Crazy,huh? :-) One girl was saying to the other how hot they look together and the other agreed and said that she thought Angie brought meaning into Brad’s life. I was really surprised…..sounds kinda snobby I know…..but I butted in and had a great conversation with them. Just goes to show that people from all walks of life can see the truth behind what the JPs stand for.
Oh, and STRANGER, I had some delicious elote they were serving alongside the usual carnival food. Do they serve that down there in MC?
