I read where Sheryl Crow has come out slamming ‘American Idol’ saying it’s too commercial and that she’s “sad that people love it so,” she made other pretentious little “death of art,” comments too.

I found it strange that she’s making these comments, just as a former friend to the Goddess Circle (by way of Brad) Gwen Stefani has just wrapped up a great appearance on the show. Was that a jab at Ms. Stefani for the circle, are they pissed that she, Gavin and baby Kingston socialize with the JP’s. LOL Crow is also echoing Maniston who once said, “I hate that idol sh*t!” However, the news piece I was reading about Crow’s disdain, had the good sense to pointedly make fun of someone that would dare criticize American Idol, who had sold a number of her songs and turned them into car commercials, and who also can be found pimping for drug store hair coloring. They really clocked her. LOLOL.

Crow, in the same interview, went on to give a lecture on the tabloids and how people shouldn’t read them, as they ruin the quality of life — I had to laugh out loud at that, since it’s a KNOWN FACT that her good pal Maniston reads the tabloid sh*t all the time, and structures her every move around what they are, or are not, saying about her. I’m sure Crow knows this.

Brad Praised? LMAO…Brad got bashed just as much as Angie has. When I saw the cover of this issue, I was sad. This women just lost her mom and Janice Min because of jealousy decides her mourning period is over and they can take shots. I just reread her Vouge interview, and what she said is comforting,

“People can think whater every they want about me if it makes their time at the checkout counter go a little quicker….”

Angie is a strong women, she would not have survived these past two years of attacks if she was not a strong women. Look at the hate thrown her way after the Vanity Fair Interview(both Brad and Angie got bashed) How did they respond? They lived their life. I don’t know how she does it. I don’t know how Brad and Angie endure attack after attack. Angie is the mother of his kids, Us Weekly is attacking Brad’s family. Why? Because they don’t like choices he made, Because they are not living their life the way Janice Min wants them too. It is actually none of those reasons. This attack is all about access to Brad and Angie. People magazine once again got the pictures and they are pissed. This is retaliation. I do know watching Larry King live that Angie says she ignores tabloids, but this has to hurt her family and Brads family, they are human beings. If Brad came out and said something it would make the situation worse. Ignoring these scum is the best way to deal with it. I just hope that Brad and Angie remain strong and focused and ignore the nastiness, Brad is use to this , Angie not so much. I don’ understand why women are so bitter (including my sister, who is laughing and saying nasty things as I type..lol) Make no mistake it is women driving this.

I think Angelina did think more than twice about being with Brad. I just pray they both remain strong, in Vietnam she said she was sorry for bringing “this ” (meaning attention/media circus) into Paxs life. However you are wrong about Brad not being blamed, Brad has taken a huge hit by being with Angie, he lost a ton of fans ( sure he gained some) but he lost even more. Brad was adored, yes people still love him , but for the first time in his career , his is attacked constantly( the view, Aniston fans, magazines) I know some of my friends who can’t stand him because of what they THINK he did to Aniston. It was why I can’t stand Aniston, she is a big reason why the attacks began and why they continue, If she had taken the high road and not done Vanity Fair things would be different. It is Team Aniston , whether it be her, her fans, her fans in the media, that is driving this hate. I pray for this family because as I said before they are only human.

I personally think there could be an entire ‘Angelina Jolie’ class in some kind of Women’s studies program in academia (don’t laugh, I actually heard Keanu Reeves had one at some point - lol). But seriously, she is such a powerful public female - that in many different ways can be seen as even more symbolic and empowering than people like Hilary Clinton. Angelina Jolie on the wing of that plane, her pregnant belly showing…the images of her, can be polarizing among some, but what is most apparent is that you can be true to yourself, and you don’t have to compromise or not live up to your potential by pretending to be something your not, and trying to conform to some image. If you feel strong, and capable and can fly a plane at 5-6 months preg, do it - don’t cheat yourself by not doing what you want to do. It’s that statement she made before she hooked up with Brad. That it was hard finding someone who believes in her as much as her son does, that “he somehow thinks I can do everything,” and that she only has that with Mad - and he inspires her to be that woman that she’s always wanted to be. Now of course, she has that with Brad too - all in all she has 4 more people who think she can do anything! :-)

You are right, Angie is a very strong woman and the media has been trying to bring her down. They are mad because they haven’t succeeded and can’t understand why she just doesn’t break. The thing is though, after the GG smear job and everything else after that, what happened in her life excluding her mother’s death? She was nominated into the CFR think tank, she was offered two movie roles, we learned the St. John people were happy with her, she got a new son, and other things we probably don’t know about. The things is, if she wasn’t broken down in the past two years by the smear jobs, they are not going to break her. In life, especially with her being so outspoken and controversial, there will always be ups and downs but all that will matter is her getting through it all in one piece and she’s shown us that she’s capable of that and then some. With her type of personality, she won’t let them get to her. Alot of people would have had their spirit broken by now but she has the strength to endure it all. The people who really know her and who are close to her know who she really is and that’s all that probably matters to her. I believe that she/they will be okay and I’ll just keep on praying for them.

This week’s tabloid wars were all about The Angelina, with People scoring the biggest get: exclusive photos of Pax and quotes from Big Mama. And why wouldn’t the Time Inc. tab have all that? They did fork over $2 million for the privilege.

Which meant the competition was left to scramble for access. It’s not like Us Weekly could’ve afforded to skip the story. And so they didn’t. And while Us’ take was shoved to a corner box on the cover (so Katie Holmes’ tale of captivity could be told), the copy inside tells a tale of scraped-together sourcing.

Us Weekly’s current cover has the side box: Angelina, Family’s First Days With Pax. But when People magazine has the real inside scoop, and the folks at what we like to call “Lies Weekly” are forced to scramble around after “told a source” type quotes, there’s bound to be BIG factual errors.
This one has to do with the actual location of baby Shiloh during the adoption of Pax Thien Jolie, 3, in Vietnam. People magazine, with its total access and exclusive pix says that only Angie, Maddox, 5, and Zahara, 2, were in Vietnam to meet the latest addition to the famiy; while Shiloh, 10 months, stayed home in Los Angeles with dad Brad Pitt, 43.

Meanwhile, Lies Weekly says that Shiloh was at the Park Hyatt hotel suite in Ho Chi Minh City with the rest of the kids –and they even have intimate details of conversations that went on inside the hallowed grounds: “Four bags of toys were brought into the suite, including two remote-control cars, a train set and a musical bear, while nannies scrambled to change baby Shiloh, 10 months. ‘You’ve got a pooey nappy, cutie!’ said one. ‘I know you want to play, but you smell.’ Then Brad Pitt, 43,–who was still filming a movie in L.A.– called the room to check on things…”

Did you not read her V article in which she discusses how their decision to be together was something they did not just jump blindly into? That to be with Brad was something that she gave much thought to, that she knew what obstacles she and he would face, and that in the end they made the choice to be together. She decided that he was the one for her and the one to be the father to her kids.
