Celebrities Fight Poverty… in German
Celebrities continue in the worldwide fight against poverty in the German “Your Voice Against Poverty” commercial that was shown during the G8 Summit in Germany.
(The Group of Eight (G8) is an international forum for the governments of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.)
In the black-and-white commercial, 21 celebrities appear and speak German including Bono, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Penelope Cruz, Antonio Banderas, Claudia Schiffer, and miscellaneous German celebrities.

I don’t think that woman should have approached them at all. It’s nice that she got to see them but she should have stopped after she said hello. Asking to take pictures of their kids went way beyond polite and although they said it was fine and they were polite I’m sure they were not happy about it. These are their children! They were probably worried that these pictures could end up splashed across the Internet, this woman was just some stranger to them. They didn’t buy out the entire show for nothing, obviously.
I’ve never understood people who can go up to a celebrity who is doing something normal, like eating lunch, and ask for an autograph or a picture. To me it’s just rude. Besides, what good is an autograph? I understand the woman’s excitement at seeing BAMPZS because I would have been over the moon,lol, but I wouldn’t have approached them unless they spoke to me first. JMO
I dont THINK she is truely happy… she just saying what she thinks people want to hear. of course I could always be wrong.

You/Me Says: I hear what you’re saying but she is obviously a fan who does have respect for them. As far as I know no pictures from that day have shown up. She could have sold them to a tabloid or at least put the picture on her blog. She has done neither.

Angelina said something very telling back in 2000, I’ll copy the quote
“Also, a close friend of mine got very sick. I had stress from these things, obviously, and I didn’t look well, my face broke out. I showed up on the set, and they said, ‘You go home.’ Somehow it made a bunch of people very upset with me because they didn’t know whatever was going on. I didn’t feel like explaining somebody’s private business, but you suddenly think, ‘God, here I am looking really skinny, and I can’t eat…’ I can now, I’m fine, I just went through an emotional time. But when you do that in this business, you realize the ugliness of what the worst in their eyes would be, that [people are] thinking that you’re sick. If in the future I ever was, this is how little people would help me.”
Also she repeat the same stament back in 2004 while promoting Taking Lives, she said that when she is stressed she forgets to eat.
The last 8 months angelina has been losing a lot of weight and even when she says she’s happy I don’t totally buy it, I get the feeling that the media and her mothers dead are getting her. Since she hook up with Brad the price she’s paying is very high, I hope she finds the help she needs.

A good friend of mine, also German is always complaining about all the different incarnations of corn in Mexico, he doesn’t like it. I love it in any shape!
I don’t think she has been losing a lot of weight. Her weight has always fluctuated some. By looking at old photos, I have seen there have been times where she has been just as slim or slimmer. She does not seem to have any problem holding her children so she is not frail.
All these concerned trolls coming out of the woodworks. Sure you are concern about Angelina and her health or her children.
So called fans like you (trolls) Angelina can do without. Why begrudge the woman a little happiness? Is it because you know you will never have a chance with her?

LOL, I figured elote was served down there but I’ve never been to MC so I wasn’t 100% sure. I’ve only been as far south as Guadalajara. I understand how your friend feels about corn,lol. When I was a kid I swear everything my grandmother cooked had corn in some variation in it.
After being away so long from Mexican food I am really happy to be getting reaquianted with it. Gorditas, empanadas, churros, caveza, caldo de res, tortas…..I could go on and on. My absolute favorite, ceviche…. although my dad told me that this wasn’t an original Mexican dish. Worst, mole, yuck. My poor hubby, who is caucasian, loves it all too but his stomach can’t exactly handle all the really hot stuff.
Have you been anywhere other than MC? If not I highly recommend Aquascalientes, it’s beautiful and the hot springs in the area are heavenly. The San Marcos Fair is about to start soon there too.

Can you let her be like everyone else? People mourn. She will mourn her loss of her mother for years but does that mean you can’t be happy for the blessings in life? People go up in weight and lose weight. It’s life. I’m sure you get stressed or are are you too blessed to be stressed? LOL!!!!! Let her and Brad go through the ups and downs of life together will ya? I love Angelina’s comeback to secrest at the GG. He builds up a stupid question hoping her answer will be something spectacular and her answer to “what do you guys do when you put the kids to sleep?” Angelina says “sleep”. “It’s not that glamourous” she add. With four kids now they will be exausted like millions of moms and dads. They will have bags under their eyes if they have to stay up because one of the babies has a cold or a tough time sleeping though the night or is scared of a monster coming into the room.
Angelina dutifully gives her exclusives to People & Hello. She does the requisite press junket for her films and that’s it. The media is falling and tripping over each other, trying to outdo each other with supposed exclusives and dusting off old stories out of the attic of the past. while Brad & Angelina live their lives. It’s true that they should not even speak to general media because when they do, people igonre it because it’s not exciting enough. “I don’t buy it” is typical of someone that will never pay attention to what Angelina says because you have made up your mind no matter what. Angelina has said she pays no attention to tabloids. Why should she? It would validate them as real publications. She’s a veteran actress and knows how they function. Why should she pay attention to those rags who create soap operas? Name one A list celeb who does? Angelina is a very busy woman. She’s got things to do, places to see and go and people to be with OK?

Angelina has learned to ignore the media to the greatest extent possible like all in the public eye must, especially as she has always had some harsh media critics attack her for one thing or another, long before Brad came into her life. Less confident ultra conventional women are most frightened to death of Angelina, they can’t relate to a strong confident unconventional woman.
I do agree with you that her mother’s death has very likely profoundly affected her, and that she is still very much grieving. She has never been other than a thinny, that’s just the way she is built. She projects such a larger than life profile that people just envision her as larger and more muscular than she naturally is. Remember they padded her and bulked her up for the TR movies. She is a naturer who likes to take care of others, and she probably neglects herself at times.
She does appear to me to find much joy and happiness with Brad and their family. She has always projected an aura of vulnerability to me under that outer confident “I am woman, hear me roar” exoskeleton she dons. Brad seems to have pierced that exoskeleton and allowed a softer side of Angelina’s to emerge. Notice how often she is seen touching him, as if he is somehow very reassuring to her. She said in Vogue that “Brad is the person closest to her”, and that statement is as clear as can be. She also said that Brad takes care of things, has helped her to slow down, provides that she can do her humanitarian work and still have adventures.
Some of Angelina’s fans have expressed their unhappiness with Brad because they see a more dependent woman today than she appeared to be to them in the past. I don’t see that. Everyone wants to be in a loving relationship with a supportive partner. That’s human nature, and that’s the type of relationship that Brad and Angelina appear to have.

Dont try to show your FAKE concern on Angie. You are a hater and a FAKE. Your post said Angie should not be with Brad gives me the clue. Why dont you spend some time and think about your Jen. She needs all the help. Why are you spending time here and not making more money to buy more of Jen’s DVD?

Go back and look at her face and arms in the pregnancy pics where she wore the scarf on her head interviewed by Ann Curry. There are also many pics out there where her face is much fuller and her arms don’t look skeletal. If she eats normally she actually plumps up and I don’t think she likes that because her face gets quite round and she has a double chin.

I think Angelina did think more than twice about being with Brad. I just pray they both remain strong, in Vietnam she said she was sorry for bringing “this ” (meaning attention/media circus) into Paxs life. However you are wrong about Brad not being blamed, Brad has taken a huge hit by being with Angie, he lost a ton of fans ( sure he gained some) but he lost even more. Brad was adored, yes people still love him , but for the first time in his career , his is attacked constantly( the view, Aniston fans, magazines) I know some of my friends who can’t stand him because of what they THINK he did to Aniston. It was why I can’t stand Aniston, she is a big reason why the attacks began and why they continue.
If she had taken the high road and not done Vanity Fair things would be different. It is Team Aniston , whether it be her, her fans, her fans in the media, that is driving this hate. I pray for this family because as I said before they are only human.

I agree with you. I just cant understand why good people get persecuted, and for so long, more than 2 years already. Sometimes, I wonder when is this going to end. I pray for this family too. Everyday, I am so worried as I come to this thread. When this family is attacked, my heart just sink.

I am a long time Angie fan. just because I am not blinded by the Brangie I am labeled a fan of maniston? whatever I just hope she really happy and is with someone who REally does love her. I doubt it though. imo she’s not happy… you people act like she is not human and doesnt get hurt. She is not a robot she has feelings, jerks.
