Now, now you are becoming personal. Thanks for comforming that Cox and X are ugly and middle aged. On being successful, I don’t think having tons of money from being in “Friends” will now, at this moment equate them to being successful actresses. And please do not, I said do not understimate the portfolio of the posters here as you don’t know squat about them.

Maniston’s acting range is zilch. SHE IS RACHEL GREEN. Even when she did the Good Girl, she was basically Rachel Green on prozac and with no sense of humor.
well, i did watch the episode coz i always a big deal of tht kiss, but actually it was’nt a big deal at all. though , i would say is jennifer looks good as always especially for being 38 w/ all honesty. i wish whenever i reach tht age, i would look like her ( so young) and so is courtney. but i got to say again, deny or hate her, jennifer looks good and i like her sense of style in this episode and i am an angelina and brad fan.
jessi, i don’t think jennifer had botox, becoz u noticed people who undergone botox are like dead…..i mean their face is expressionless. on the other hand , i see jennifer face moving, so i won’t believe she had botox nor boobjob. i may believe she had some other surjeries, coz i seen her original picture, but she looks really great now!!!
I never watched Friends, although I did see Along Came Polly, I thought it was just a bad script, now after watching Dirt last night I know that JenJen just can not act. I still love Dirt but I hope she’s never on it again.

I didn’t say Cox and Aniston were successful actresses. They are though successful with what they’ve done with their lives, unlike you.
Now what is a successful actress today? One that makes 20 million on a Hollywood movie? Please, Hollywood movies are regarded very low today by film critics and by audiences. 99.99% of movies today that come from Hollywood are kitch and have little artistic or social value. They are produced to make money, hence the word blockbuster.
So, success in terms of Hollywood productions does mean $$$$.
If success is not money, than what is success? Can you define it?

success for some is having a great family, a great life partner, charitable causes to support, a great film career, a great inner peace.
success is not only money.
judi dench and helen mirren don’t command 20 million per picture but they are successful in that they are extraordinary in their fields and are respected in their craft.
the rock makes lots of money in films but is that success? are we confusing success with artistic value?
true success is making the bucks AND getting the artistic accolades (oscars, industry recognition, and carte blanche to pick and choose film projects).
the above two actresses have not in the heirarchy of the entertainment business reached the pinnacle of success. they are not julia roberts. they cannot greelight a film. they cannot be cast in any film they want. they cannot do it. that’s a fact. tehy are not reese witherspoon, julia roberts, angelina jolie, and nicole kidman.

I said “in the fields they work in they are not considered women who have reached the pinnacle of success”.
I said separately that success is defined in many different ways. For some it is inner peace and for some it is a great career. HOWEVER, in Hollywood terms, in terms of the business of Hollywood, Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have NOT reached the pinnacle of success.
They may feel successful because maybe they are happy inside or they love their pets or they are at peace emotionally but PROFESSIONALLY IN HOLLYWOOD they HAVE NOT reached the pinnacle of success.
They cannot greenlight a film. They cannot be cast in any film they want. They are typecast. They cannot open films the way Julia Roberts can. They do not have that ability. It’s a fact.
So is your argument that critiquing is only reserved for a select few? So because let’s say Mary in Des Moines is carpooling and works at Piggly Wiggly, she does nto have the right to say she does not believe Jennifer Aniston has not reached the pinnacle of Hollywood success?
