Wow, she can eat dinner on her own? And take one-on-one yoga classes? The contrast with Angie piloting her own plane is pretty startling. X is someone who has the money to go, see and do just about anything in the world–and it’s not like she’s busy working or fielding job offers. Brad must have been bored silly with this chick.

How could Halle deny the suicide story? I remember her talking about that ish way back in the day.

I think she denied that this is a NEW story.

Has Barbara Walters ever interviewed Brad or Angelina?

That’s really odd. Halle Berry DID say she tried to take her own life years and years ago. It’s not a rumor. Can you translate that quote because I’m fan of hers and I watched her with my own eyes say she tried to kill herself in her car. She also mentioned losing her dog too or almost losing her dog. It was many years ago.

Ha! if this is true than this should be the story screaming all around the world because on Access Hollwood or Extra, I can’t remember which, went in depth to find out if this story was rehashed. They showed 4 different video interviews of Halle from as far back as 1997 where Halle herself is describing her suicide attempt. She said she was in a car. I wonder if it’s up on youtube…

Maybe Halle’s car accident that got her bump on the head, made her get amnesia.

I wonder how many years the Tabloids will continue to inform us how __ has moved on. I bet after five years from now we will continue to read the same c r a p!! LMAO!!

That should have been a common knowledge tow years ago and be done with it already. Having these kinds of alerts every freaking year doesn’t really help. LOL!!

Can someone tell the American media to stop informing us Maniston had move on after official separated with her x husband of 2 and half years, although they were separated much of the time in later part of 2003 to 2004. Who really cares about her if she was married to Tate Donovan or a nobody or even Vince V. She had no project coming out what better way of being in the spot light by letting her source aka her friend aka Huvane tell us she’s OK. that’s riding on Brad’s coat tail to the maximum.

That’s exactly what happened before Angie and Brad showed up together on the red carpet at TGS. No stories, no photos, tabloids crazy with speculations and I believe 50 cents said the same think that they should give the rags something to get off their back. So Angie gave those couples of interviews and we all know
how the media teared her to pieces.
I wonder if this lack of news has something to do with Brad snapping at the papps
in NOLA when Angie’s mom died. He took pictures of them and since that time we had didn’t have many few pics of the family. Maybe Brad took some sort of legal action against them. Just a thought.

What went wrong with Jen and Brad — We Admire Women Who Marry Rich or Important Men Assuming They Have Special Seductive or Personality Skills — but in Jen’s case, Jen may not have had the skills to hold onto Brad

JEN ENCHANTED BRAD WITH HER BEAUTY AND SEXUALITY, BUT MAY NOT HAVE HAD THE GRACE, WARMTH AND CHARM THAT A WOMAN NEEDS TO KEEP ANY MAN, ESPECIALLY A GREAT OR FAMOUS MAN, HAPPY.

In an interview (with Elle magazine?), Jen pointed to a photo of Brad with a beard and derisively said something to the effect that this wasn’t her favorite look on Brad, but you know what they say, you marry for the good and the bad.

Can you just IMAGINE! if Brad had given an interview and said that about one of Jen’s looks!? What an uproar!

But because it was a woman saying it about a man, it was barely noticed.

In an interview (was it in Vanity Fair or Elle or another interview?) Jen said, Brad wasn’t there for her when Friends ended.

Can you imagine if Brad had said, well I had this war movie, Troy, and women were turned off because it was a war movie, but Jen wasn’t there for me at the time.

Had these types of words come from Brad, the world would have been scandalized. The same insulting words were barely noticed coming from Jen

And almost at the same time that Jen was telling people that Brad wasn’t there for her when Friends ended –

Angelina Jolie in an interview describing her feelings for Brad, was quoted as saying, “You just know you can count on Brad to be there when you need him.”

In the first interview mentioned above (in Elle magazine?) Jen said that to her, Brad was not the sexiest man alive, she didn’t go along with that stuff.

Jen said that to her, Brad is her Brad, take out the garbage Brad.

Can you imagine if Brad had said that to him, Jen was not a beautiful, adored actress, she was just his Jen, his take out the garbage Jen, his clean the house Jen?

Are we saying Jen is a bad person?

Not at all.

She could be a super-glamorous, trophy wife for a man in the upper echelons of society, politics.

She loves giving dinner parties — she could give dinner parties every night she has said.

But perhaps she did not have the wisdom to appreciate Brad and acknowledge that he is special.

People in the public eye have a big ego — they need to survive and go ahead — but she tried him with some disrespect in the above ways.

Again, is it her fault?

Not necessarily.

Women are generally inexperienced in these areas.

Well-married women are often women with a purring, flirtatious voice, come-hither eyes, who pile on flattery, make the man feel like a king, have the ability to focus on a man’s face to the exclusion of anything else, and the ability to disregard a lot of pain.

These kinds of sarcastic opinions about one’s husband, that Jen told about Brand, when told in front of friends would cause a man emotional pain.

But imagine when they are told in a hugely public manner, in interviews that everyone wants to read.

It could have caused Brad to distance himself emotionally to protect himself from the pain of being disrespected so publicly.

Another factor that may have doomed their marriage is that his magnificent “Troy” was not the mad success that was expected.

His body was magnificent, but the role he was given was not sympathetic — he played a spoiled, egocentric boy.

It was unpleasant to see such a nasty personality.

We saw the film, and as much as we adore Brad Pitt — and we adore him — we only watched a short bit of it.

Compare that to the deep, brooding sympathetic character he played in “Interview with the Vampire.”

Or compare that to the character “Mickey,” the coup de force he played in Guy Ritchie’s film — that was just delightful.

He has said that he based that role on the role played by Benecio del Toro in “The Usual Suspects,” and how well it was done by Brad — unrivalled in any of his movies.

The fact that a film does not meet its potential often dooms the star and his/her spouse’s relationship unless handled a very sympathetic, supportive way. Though it is only a temporary stop along one’s career, It must be felt as such a depressing, public humiliation.

Jen possibly didn’t have what that was needed (it would be difficult to know just what is needed).

Then there is the situation that Brad Pitt may have desired Angelina Jolie by the time Mr. and Mrs. Smith was cast.

By this time various problems may already have doomed the Jen-Brad marriage.

When the major female star dropped out of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brad Pitt said he would not do the film unless another major female star was brought in, someone like Angelina Jolie. Hmmm.

A reason for Brad’s marriage (among others of course) was that he wanted children, and he wanted them as soon as possible. At the time he married Jen he said he wanted to have a little commune.

For whatever reasons, that did not happen. Perhaps during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brad was further attracted to Angelina because of her wish to have several children.

Angelina had suffered when she adopted Maddox while married to Bille Bob; she “sprung” the adoption on Billie Bob somewhat, and the latter was completely uninterested in having a child.

When we wrote our commentary in 2006, we wrote this:

We admire women who marry rich and important men, and assume they must have special seduction techniques or personality, and in some cases, we may be correct.

We am thinking of Helen Gurley Brown, the editor of the international editions of Cosmopolitan magazine, who details it all in her books, particularly, SEX AND THE SINGLE GIRL which has just been reissued by Barnes and Nobles.

Though the book was written a half-century ago, it lays out in detail the warmth, kindness and charm (among many other attributes — good with money, good hostess, etc. etc. ) a woman should have to keep a man happy (and to be successful in life).

Nowadays, we think any old gruff, critical, rude self is good enough and a man should be happy he simply has us.

But we see in the example of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, that sexuality and beauty are not enough to make up for casual cruelty and thoughtlessness. (See posting below.)

People who come to mind: Dr. Condi Rice (though single), Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush.

Imagine them in a group of people.

They are not the rude, quiet, withdrawn kind.

They come “out of themselves” and move emotionally and graciously towards others, making others feel welcomed and important.

We take these great persons’ behavior for granted, but this is the behavior we ourselves could exhibit with others.

Can you imagine Laura Bush ever saying, “Oh, to me, George is not the President of the United States, he’s just take-out-the-garbage George.”

And yet, that’s how Jennifer Aniston spoke of Brad Pitt in a major interview.

I like that, thanks creole. It’s has respect to it, no slamming Jen and all that crap. Just simply, she didn’t appreciate what she had. What’s that old saying ‘YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’VE GOT TILL IT’S GONE’…….that’s exactly what I think happened here.

I adore Jen, but I don’t think she appreciated Brad or could handle being Mrs. Brad Pitt. She royally f****d up, but life goes on.

I know everyone wishes we could hear something from the JPs, but just think of all the quality family time they are having right now!
