OlderAngelina’s Brother: “Brad Changed My Sister A Lot”
Angelina Jolie’s brother James Haven gave an interview to British weekly Grazia
, reports Us Weekly. He speaks out on her relationship with Brad Pitt and why they work so well.
On the rumors that Angelina is controlling: “I have never seen any sign of tension between them. They make all their decisions together. It’s rubbish that she tries to control him. They have a balanced relationship; they each do their stuff. I’ve never seen moments where one is nagging or controlling the other.”
On how Brad changed Angelina: “Brad has changed my sister a lot. They have an extraordinary bond, but not on the usual level. Brad is so strong for her; when she feels vulnerable, he has the most incredible strength. She says she couldn’t have adopted more children after Maddox without him.”
On why they work: “The great thing about Brad and Angelina is that they really get each other’s sense of humor, and make each other laugh a lot. They talk about politics a great deal and are very creative together with the projects they are working on. If it keeps going the way it’s going, they’ll be together for life.”

Mondo Bongo, please I hate it when I do that, but here I was being so nice to her and she posts that sh*t, even if she is innocent what fan would post a question like that, or EXPECT us to educate and inform them. The information is all out there, if someone is a lazy lard as* that’s not my problem. However, in this case I can bet you money she ain’t no saint :-)

I don´t believe James said that, but the magazines need to talk about Angie no matter what, so now they remembered that Angelina has a brother and (yes, of course) he “gave” an interview and talked about her.

If you really want to know, here is the deal :
In most countries, including Vietnam, You cannot CO-ADOPT the same child when you are single…meaning with or without a partner who isn’t married to you.
CO-ADOPTION is a privillege only given to MARRIED COUPLE.
Which is logical ! You can’t undergo legal acts requiring your boyfriend/girlfriend signature…you will need it from your husband/wife as marriage is a legal act that involve both legal approvals in many acts of law during the marriage.
Therefore, CO-ADOPTION is the rule for married people (you cannot adopt without the approval of your married partner) and ADOPTION is the key for UNMARRIED ones wether they live with a partner or not. Only the legal act of marriage count to select the adoption rule between CO-ADOPTION (for married couple) or simple ADOPTION (for single).
After the adoption is finalised, the unmarried partner can eventually adopt the legally child of her/his partner with his/her approval.

What are you talking about? I am just asking because I read on celebritybaby.com that she adopted as a single mother because - and that is what they wrote there- it is illegal for an unmarried couple to adopt. So I was just asking why, I didn’t mean to be rude and I certainly don’t hate Angelina Jolie or her actions. And it is not illegal, why didn’t Brad Pitt adopt with her?
Please, just because I am not as informed and therefor have to ask questions to learn, don’t mistake my qestion for… an attack.

Agree and let me attempt to explain without the need to be rude and smart assed about it.
True that VN has a policy of not allowing couples who aren’t married to adopt, and because of this, it is the reason Angelina did so as a single person. She hasn’t lied or been deceptive since it’s pretty universally known that although not legally married to Brad Pitt, he is her life partner, and also the father of Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, and I think those not only in Vietnam are aware, but the world too, that he will also become the legal father of Pax once the remaining hurdles have been jumped where VN time rules are concerned and he is the i’s dotted and t’s crossed son of Miss Jolie’s.
Since Pax is being legally adopted by Angelina alone at this time, there was no reason for Brad to go, and plus he had major work obligations that would have caused millions of dollars to be lost if those obligations weren’t met within the time constrants set forth in the contracts.
I hope this will answer your questions.
I think it sounds legit and it is great that Brad gave her the strength to move forward with building her family. All the rest goes without saying. Of course they will be together for life, they share a family together. And most times when people share children together they share an extraordinary bond.
I don’t think anything about these two could be on the usual level. Now maybe Brad’s family will follow up with how Angelina made Brad a better person. How sweet!

1. Angelina is single, she is not married, she was not lying.She adopted Pax in Vietnam, Brad will adopt him in the US as he did with Maddox and Zahara.
2. Brad was working on a movie in LA, he had contractual obligations. That’s why the whole family relocated to LA from NOLA at the beginning of March. Just like Angelina was working on a movie in Namibia under contract when she adopted Maddox, she could not travel to Cambodia to pick him up, so Maddox was brought to her on location in Namibia.

Hi Andromeda—ITA, it really is very hard to believe. You know what, until I got to admire Angie and Brad I gave no thought to celebs or tabloids. But, thanks to Brad and Angie getting together, I think many people are finding out what LIARS these TABLOIDS are and I love it;-) It’s like shooting yourself on the foot :lol:

The US adoption Vietnamese certified agency that Angelina used said that their clients usually re-adopt in the US (maybe there are some other legalities needed or desirable) and that Brad can adopt Pax at that time. Also read that Brad had taken part in the home studies with Angelina, and that Pax’s adoption should be completed within 3-6 months as Brad has adopted before. But as with the doubters who will not accept the reality of Brad’s adoption of Maddox and Zahara, that he is their legal father, they will also doubt his adoption of Pax.
