OlderAngelina’s Brother: “Brad Changed My Sister A Lot”
Angelina Jolie’s brother James Haven gave an interview to British weekly Grazia
, reports Us Weekly. He speaks out on her relationship with Brad Pitt and why they work so well.
On the rumors that Angelina is controlling: “I have never seen any sign of tension between them. They make all their decisions together. It’s rubbish that she tries to control him. They have a balanced relationship; they each do their stuff. I’ve never seen moments where one is nagging or controlling the other.”
On how Brad changed Angelina: “Brad has changed my sister a lot. They have an extraordinary bond, but not on the usual level. Brad is so strong for her; when she feels vulnerable, he has the most incredible strength. She says she couldn’t have adopted more children after Maddox without him.”
On why they work: “The great thing about Brad and Angelina is that they really get each other’s sense of humor, and make each other laugh a lot. They talk about politics a great deal and are very creative together with the projects they are working on. If it keeps going the way it’s going, they’ll be together for life.”

Hey guli, I am doing fine. I am not posting as of late. I am very busy at work & fixing things at home since my cousin & his family is coming over here in Canada & staying with us for a while. How about you? Anything nice going on with you? I am planning to buy the Good Sheperd DVD this week. On Good Friday we are watching a procession in Toronto which are being enacted by the Italian Community. It’s our annual Lenten tradition. That same day I am going to have a dinner with friends with fish on the menu. Easter Sunday my sister, brother & my cousins will come over to our place. Bring out those choco bunnies!

Hi Ya back ariel, It’s so great to chat with you again. Well, I was out of town for 4 days but other than that I’ve been a regular. Many great new fans joined lately and it was great meeting them and getting to know them. I’ll be leaving for Turkey this Sunday, but in the afternoon so we will have our Easter Sunday together before this mom leaves to visit her mom and dad :-)

the adoptions laws are very differents , it depens of the country you live and the country you want to adopt;
some countries don’t allow single persons to adopt while other countries ask a couple to be married for 1 to 5 years before entering the process ;
Haiti now accept single women to adopt ( recent)
Nice to see adoptive parents coming out in support of Angie’s adoption. The response to Martha Osborne’s wonderful article “Angelina Jolie’s Adoption” was heartwarming. A special thanks to Leetle UN for posting Ms. Osborne’s article and to Creole for not only posting the link to the article by also providing us with Debbie Mumm’s piece. The adoption agency that Angelina used issued the following response to clear up rumors regarding Pax’s adoption.
“In applying to adopt 3-yr-old Pax Thien, Ms. Jolie followed the same course as all prospective adoptive parents who apply to our Vietnam program. Throughout her adoption process, which began in the summer of 2006, she has received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart, and contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast tracked.
Despite rumors that she chose her child, Ms. Jolie received a referral, just like any other parent adopting from Vietnam. In late 2006, she was referred a child who had been legally determined to be available for adoption and who fit within the parameters for which she had been approved to adopt. She accepted the first and only referral given to her.
In addition, we can confirm the statement given by Nguyen Van Trung, Director of Tam Binh Orphanage, that Ms. Jolie has neither made, nor promised to make, any financial contributions to his orphanage. Adoptions From The Heart celebrates the miracle of adoption with the Jolie-Pitt family, as we do with all of our clients, and wish them much joy.”
