The Hollywood Stars Align For Halle Berry
It’s Halle-wood!
Halle Berry (in Dolce & Gabbana) is honored with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday morning by ith Honorary Mayor Johnny Grant and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Leron Gubler.
Model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, Halle’s mom, Judith Berry, and pal Samuel L. Jackson all attended the ceremony to show their support for the sexy actress.
Halle, 40, unveiled the 2,333rd star on the famous Hollywood Boulevard landmark, right in front of the Kodak Theatre. Other honors she has been won include an Emmy, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award the first best actress Oscar to go to an African American. Congrats, Halle!!!!

Also, I think Halle perhaps will back away from doing interviews, not because they paint her in a picture that’s “not true” but because she’s starting to realize how “recycling” she is with her comments also with how bitter she is about Eric and David.
(Also, for the record, how did they (Parade) paint you (Halle) in a picture that’s not true, you really did try to commit suicide, that came right out of your mouth!)
Although Halle loves her mother, I think her character is quite vindictive as another poster pointed out. I read that when her mother would not loan her $500 or something when she was just starting out, Halle would not talk to her for an entire year! A MESS!
I could never do that to a mother who raised me and used every penny to make sure I was successful!

The bigger celeb comment is also total bullshit–EB wasn’t know in all circles, DJ was if you follow baseball, neither was GA unless you follow modeling or put a name to the face to ads we may have seen. Finally, the media is wising up to the media darling they’ve help create with she, her manager and publicist.
It will be interesting to see what’s discussed in this week’s many TV interviews and her unscripted interview w/ BW goes, whenever it airs. Also will be interesting to see how the movie does at the box office after all of this.
#48–think there was something in WENN or some other source some years ago after their $2M lawsuit against the tabloids against EB’s affairs and then it turns out later they were true when she was saying how strong and loving their marriage was and what they do spice up their sex life was. Don’t remember the context or timeframe other than I remember reading it too and it was in the time period between the two.
Halle if ya don’t open your mouth you won’t have to do damage control or freak out when the boys with cameras/blogs start the pg rumors etc.

April 6, 2007 — WHILE Halle Berry thought of suicide after her marriage to David Justice crumbled 10 years ago, she “is in the best place in her life that she has ever been,” a friend says. “She is in love, happy, healthy and has a movie that is going to be a hit.” Berry’s comments on suicide, which she originally made to Oprah Winfrey, were reported in Parade last week, and now she’s being inundated at the junket for “Perfect Stranger” with questions about suicide. “She just wants everyone to know [those feelings] have no relevance now,” the friend said. The movie opens April 13. Berry also heats up the pages of Esquire and, in a back-and-forth article by actress and journalist, she claims this will be her last interview. She says she looks forward to “. . . no more pressure to come up with an excuse as to why I don’t have a baby at forty, and finally, no more giving a magazine the power to paint a portrait of me that was just not true.”
Agree Oprah or the best damage control pr folks even the guy from her hit and run fiasco can help her on this.

Of course, I wouldn’t be a fan if I didn’t come to Halle Berry’s defense.
Jim Carrey has loved women and has been married a couple of times, but he says he’s more prepared than ever today to have a relationship with Jenny McCarthy.
How many of us have made statements like Halle Berry? I know I did. I thought I knew it all once upon a time. However, with age comes wisdom and experience. We are (hopefully) always getting better the longer we live.
I’m not a fan of baseball, but I don’t despise David Justice. When Halle Berry married him, I thought they were the perfect couple. He’s another cutie. I never cared for Eric Benet (had never heard of him-no kidding), but I think he’s an okay guy too. They are not monsters, but they are cheaters. Do you think I am going to believe them? Halle Berry didn’t cheat. People don’t have to cheat. They can leave the relationship if they want to. In my opinion, there is no excuse they could give me.
It makes me mad when men or women do the “dirty deed” and when they get caught, they try to make excuses for their behavior. They turn the entire situation around and make it look like their partner caused them to do it. David Justice and Eric Benet are typical cheaters making excuses. They were probably the ones who were angry because what they did got out to the public. Part of the fun for cheaters is the excitement and secrecy. If Justice and Benet could have found a way to get Halle to accept what they did and continue in the marriage knowing they are going to cheat every once in a while (like a lot of husbands to do - let’s face it), they probably would have never wanted to leave her.
A lot of men cheat and expect their wife to live with it. I think Justice was guilty, so to make himself look a little better, he threw it out that Halle is crazy and vindictive. Should she not have lost her mind? Halle Berry loved that guy. If she got angry when she found out, how can anyone blame her? Was she supposed to say, “Ok David. If you want to cheat, I can can accept it. Just don’t rub it in my face or let me see it.”
I for one hope she lit him up like a firecracker! One of you posters said something like: … “and you do NOT cheat on Halle Berry!”
Come on. Halle has the right attitude. Don’t accept cheating. Too many black women do. Right now I only know of two black married men who I do not believe have cheated on their wives. One is married to a white woman, the other is married to a Hispanic. All the other black “married” men I know have cheated. I’m talking about couples who have been married for many years.
Black women need to follow Halle’s lead and stop the madness. In that area, Halle has a healthy self esteem. If you allow a man to treat you like dirt, he will. That’s all I can say about that.
I hope David Justice and Eric Benet and any other exes go on and have happy, fulifilled, successful lives. I don’t wish evil on any of them. I hope they’ve moved on, have good luck and God bless them.
It takes two people to have a relationship. Halle made some mistakes, but those men made just as many mistakes if not more. The only people who know what happened there are the people involved in the relationship.
Today is today. Halle has been married twice. Don’t you think twice is enough? It’s enough marriages for me. What is wrong with her stating she doesn’t want to get married again? Angelina Jolie says it too. In fact, lots of Hollywood people feel that way. They don’t need to keep getting married. If you’re not good at it, STOP!
Everybody keeps wondering how Gabriel and Halle will stay together forever. Well, forever is a LONG time. How many relationships last forever? How many marriages?
Halle Berry just wants to be happy. That is all. She’s living for today. I think she is very happy at the moment and she deserves to be. I don’t care about the past. I don’t care if she didn’t talk to her mom for over a year. Look at the great relationship they have today. That is all that matters. She’s coming full circle, slowly but surely. She has lived her life well. She has done nothing terribly bad to warrant such hatred from anybody.
Halle will be on the CBS Early Show this Fri the 13th same day as the Good Morning America and The View ivws.

Eric benet married this woman knowing all of her baggage and issues so he realy wasnt justified in his sloppy behavior and heck even if he felt justified to cheat halle was then justified to leave.

Like BOTH OF HER EX-HUSBANDS HAVE STATED: HALLE LIKES TO PLAY THE VICTIM!!! Now it seems like she’s doing it with the media. Before and apparently STILL she did it with regard to her relationships, but we really could not see what was going on behind closed doors, so as the public we really cannot know for sure whether she is a victim or not with her husbands! BUT WITH THE MEDIA…ALL OF US have seen this woman repeatedly talk about how she has struggled in her relationships and how she wanted to commit suicide…so to attack PARADE for bringing up what she probably talked about YET AGAIN! I think is ludicrous and again telling of this woman liking to play the victim, although it seems to brings it upon herself.

Check the numerous articles (26+) on Google of Parade’s editor saying their backing their story given January 27 of this year having Halle on tape openly talking about the experience.
Also, interesting that Halle gave the interview in January and only now is bitching about them doing the article claiming they got it from old material and then claiming she will never do another article again.
