OlderAmerica Ferrera is Hot Betty
Another larger-than-life celebrity hits the cover of W Magazine! In their May 2007 issue, Ugly Betty actress America Ferrera graces the cover. Here’s a great excerpt about her boyfriend from college, Ryan Piers Williams:
It was at USC that Ferrera met her now boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams. A tall, handsome, Texas-born aspiring director who currently works for Steven Soderbergh, he cast her in his student film, and the two currently live together and share a golden retriever named Buddy, whom they refer to as “our baby.” At Ferrera’s W photo shoot, Williams sits by her side while she’s being coiffed and made up, telling her how pretty she looks and bravely revealing to the crew that he once allowed her to put mascara on his lashes. Says Ferrera, giggling, “He has the longest eyelashes, but they’re blond at the tips, and I just wanted to see what it would look like.”
As it turned out, Betty’s immense popularity has brought an avalanche of attention to Ferrera. Now paparazzi stalkings and demands for autographs are part of her daily life. What truly baffles her are the machinations of the tabloid press. In February one weekly gossip rag ran with a story that Ferrera and Williams were engaged, giving rise to BETTY TO WED headlines all over the Internet. “It’s totally not true!” she insists of the rumor. “And his mom called me and my sisters were calling me, and I was like, ‘Are you kidding? Did you not think I would tell you first?’ And then I put out a statement that it wasn’t true, and that became a whole news story. So now it’s news when something doesn’t happen? Like, news flash: California did not get hit by a hurricane today.”

I’m sure that alot of the people who took the time to write “pedantic” and “retarded” comments about Ms. Ferrera are probably quite overweight themselves. I’d bet money on it. Hell, I’d bet a vital organ on it. You’re sitting around looking up pictures of America Ferrera, right? Because that is how I got to this link. I’m profiling her in a student newspaper, and I typed in “America Ferrera” in a search engine and was led to this website. Something tells me if you think she is so fat, ugly and untalented that you shouldn’t be looking her up on search engines. Right? Right.

What’s wrong with fat people??? I’m fat and? Why do people (retards mostly) associate fat with ugly? Some people are beautiful until they open their mouth! I’ve seen both girls and guys that look great but as soon as they open their mouth, you go.. “nevermind!!” Beauty is marketed in this country as anorexic and an impossible standard to meet. I don’t know the rest of America, but I’m glad for people like America, we all needed to see something different on TV other than collar bones, ribs, and knee caps. I am also a Latina, from PR as a matter of fact and I think America Ferrera is beautiful. People that put others down for their weight are the same ones that will put you down for your race!! Chew on that for a little bit.

What’s the deal on baggin’ on Ferrera??? She’s totally hot. Yea, so she doesn’t weigh 115 lbs. but Jesus Christ! Half the female population doesn’t! Plus, there’s more to her than just her flippin’ weight! She IS a beautiful Latina woman, very funny, witty, and a very talented actress and I think she has the most gorgeous skin I’ve ever seen!
SO, to all those ******** who claim she’s not attractive because she’s not stick thin (which by the way she’s lost quite a bit already and I wouldn’t be surprised if she premiered on the new season of Ugly Betty 10 lbs lighter) have some serious isseues with yourselves, if you’re that harsh and judgemental to say those things about anyone I can only imagine what it’s like being inside your head>.
Regardless of the negative remarks people make about America….She’s still making money. Maybe that’s why you’re hating on her in the first place. I am not fat, I am actually thin but like most latina women I have curves in all of the right places. But I love the fact the latina women are not afraid to embrace their curves. We are happy with the way GOD made us.
America is NATURALLY curvacious. She didn’t have to have plastic surgery to be that way. So stop HATIN’ and give the girl a break.

regardless of whether america is fat or thin, i believe that she has a beautiful face. yeah she’s fat, but so what, since when does being fat make you ugly? many fat girls are a lot prettier than skinny girls and likewise many skinny girls are a lot prettier than fat girls. weight (unless if youre severely obese) does not determine beauty. ever. i’m skinny, but my younger sister whos about 3 sizes bigger than me is far prettier.
and why all the hate messages regarding her appearance? you cant say awful things about anyone simply because you think they’re ugly. its no justification. its hurtful.

i think she looks pretty in those pics so she has a little meat on her bones who the **** cares do you want her to be just another skinny ass chick in Hollywood you know that **** isn’t original..so you all prefer a skinny o size girl who can’t act then a girl who is healthily that can.,,,BULL **** she’s happy with her weight…maybe some people are insecure about their weight…..mmmm like half of you *******!!!
