why do jake’s buddies use him for publicity? who would have know anything about this Austin guy if he wasn’t riding with jake?

well, its apparent this upsets a lot of people (Who are in denial about being in denial,lol) so I won’t go on - except to say there’s more to it than mere speculation - and its not only Ted C by the way (who has actually been the first on many “rumors” that have come to fruition).

And yes, I have heard sightings of these two at various places and restaurants (including one where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other–and not in a friendship sort of way–which surprised the waiter who could have sworn Jake was straight) the past year, heck the last six months. But hey, it’s a guy so it CAN’T be true and heck, if it’s Jake and a woman (Reese or whomever) that it has to be more creditable because the tabloids always tell the truth, always and it’s just not possible for anyone, let alone a Hollywood hunk to be bisexual.

Tina i believe you that you read about those sightings, but how credible are those sightings? Everyone can make up a sighting and post it on the net.

I have absolutely no insider information, no access to hollywood gossip, but I have a strong hunch that Reese and Jake will last as long as publicity for their movie continues through opening–and that’s it.

And I have no idea who this guy is except, cute outfit.

What a bunch of asses. If Jake were fondling some guy in a restaurant or making out with a guy in WeHo, it would be all over the place. Especially if it was with another actor like Austin. They are both considered public figures and it would be impossible to hide. Totally impossible. And there isn’t enuf $$$ in the WORLD to stop a magazine or a pap from profitting by printing it. So put away your fantasies. There is no great conspiracy to keep it hidden and to try and rationalize it by saying “he can’t come out” is total crap. He is out! He’s a straight man who works out or goes basketball games with his buddies. Get over it. It was a movie. And if he is dating Reese, and I think there might just be a shred of truth to it, whether we like it or not, it’s his business. It’s not like one of us will ever date him. Jake is around interesting people. They’re doing something with their lives. They’re experiencing life, while we sit here, surfing internet fan sites!

Tina The resturaunt story was BS, posted on the DC forum, a bunch of BBM fanatics and the “sighting” supposedly happened in Nov. but it was only reported two months later by the waiter, yeah right. The other sightings were from the Defamer, nuff said. All BS, and spreading fake sightings isn’t going to help your agenda.

I will say it again and again show me a photo of Reese and Jake TOGETHER showing affection to each other - kissing, holding hands and I will believe they are a couple. I mean come on when Jake dated Kirsten Dunst there were photos of them in magazines nearly every week walking hand in hand, cuddling while sunbaking etc. Jake is a touchy-feely type of boyfriend who didn’t hide Kirsten away in the dark when they were dating so why would he be hiding his relationship with Reese?? It makes no sense. She’s left Ryan and Jake hasn’t dated a woman for ages. They have no reason to hide. I tell you why because I believe he is in a relationship with Austin - you can’t fake the chemistry that was between them in those Lakers photos of last year. Then there were the photos of them exercising together, drinking coffee walking down the street, riding bikes, going to movie premieres together and taking in a few more basketball games. How many photos have we seen of Reese and Jake together?? Hmmm.

Amanda, I agree with you. I don’t buy this “romance” between Jake and Reese. However, she is high profile, a tabloid target and if she hangs out with a hunk like Jake (I think they’re friends), it’s going to generate attention.

I’m not sure that Austin is his true love (think you might be exaggerating there) but I don’t think Jake is straight either. I think he’s bi (like a lot of Hollywood stars).

I’m wondering why though these pics were not posted anywhere except here on Justjared and on ohnotheydidn’t. Perez didn’t even post them! Weird.
